Excellent - I LOVE our fill-in-the-blank challenge at As You See It #376 this round - "My favorite embossing folder is..."
I think the retired Seabed folder is my all-time favorite embossing folder!  I actually don't use it that often, but I love it for all ocean-y cards!  I decided to go a little over the top today, and feature mainly the folder, by embossing it on Shimmer White CS, and actually coloring all the embossing.  I wasn't sure it would work, lol, but something about the shimmer sort of kept things under control, and I just didn't hold back on all my favorite Blends that reminded me of the sea, lol.  I saw a similar card by Su Mohr years ago, and always wanted to try it!  Tedious?  Yes!  Worth it?  Completely!
I can't wait to see YOUR faves this round, too - meet you at the challenge!
Seas the Day Stamp Set (retired 2022); Basic White, Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent (retired) & Shimmer White CS; Soft Succulent Ink (retired); Wild Wheat, Seaside Spray, Soft Succulent, Mint Macaron (all retired), Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Cloud Cover & Soft Sea Foam Blends Markers; Sea (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; Seabed EF (retired); Opal Rounds (retired); #AYSI376.

Cool - there's some interesting layered corner action going on in the sketch at AAA Cards #317!
I kept this one super CAS and quick, lol.  After a speedy browse, I pulled Nature's Symphony for some layered leafy colors in the upper left corner, and added my chosen sentiment to the opposite corner.  Since my main color was Pretty Peacock, I rooted out some old Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems for a little bit extra, lol - I just can't lay off the embellishments!  Anyway, this will be an easy card to send to a guy for my Kindness Card Program list this week - always need more of those!

We want to see your man's favorite hobbies this round at The Male Room #212!
One of hub's favorite hobbies is totally fishing, so I couldn't resist pulling out my old Gone Fishing suite for this one, lol.  Todd gets out there when he can, and tries to take one "big deal" trip with fishin' buddy Kyle once a year - they have so much fun!  Anyway, I was so pleased I still have plenty of the Let's Go Fishing DSP, too, so I pulled out the fish sheet - what else??  I set up this landscape layout with a big layered oval for my sentiment.  I added some lures, and for good measure, fussy cut a couple fish (there's one on the inside, too, lol) from scraps of the DSP.  I love the final layout!
I can't wait to see YOUR hobby cards, too - meet you at the challenge!
Gone Fishing Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2025); Let's Go Fishing DSP (retired); Very Vanilla & Misty Moonlight CS; Misty Moonlight, Real Red & Pebbled Path (retired) Inks; Layering Ovals Dies (retired); Linen Thread; Boho Blue Glossy Dots (retired); #TMR212.

Such fun, classic summer colors we have for you this round at Retro Rubber #275!
The Welcoming Window bundle caught my eye today - this could be fun!  I picked out three colors - Granny Apple Green, Real Red and Azure Afternoon, and got to work!  As I assigned colors to various elements in my head, I also knew I wanted to emboss my background with something appropriate, so out came the Exposed Brick EF, too, lol.  I did all stamped elements for my window, imagining a cute cottage with these colorful windows - it could happen!  I finished with the pitcher of flowers, and some Brass Butterflies for good measure.  So cute!
I can't wait to see YOUR summer colors in action - and don't forget to make it Retro!

OK, I can do this!  I love how confident my team is in me at Make My Monday #271, that I can do 2 or 3 color blending, lol!
So my strategy is to do a little band of blended colors, but something with some bright contrast, too!  After I manage that, I can decide what to put over it, right?  So I got to work, and chose Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight & Berry Burst for my colors.  I set up my paper on my sticky mat (this thing is miraculous, lol) and got to work masking off where I would blend.  I kept going til I was happy, lol, and I think I actually like it, though it's still a bit blotchy, lol.  Then I flipped through my stamps and landed on Cutest Crew!  AND, I haven't even stamped the birds yet, so today's the day.  I really am happy with how this all came out!
I can't wait to see YOUR blended projects - meet you at the challenge!

Hm, our sketch this round at Sunday Stamps #389 kinda reminds me of a signpost!
I took an actual whole day to think about what shapes I could use for this one, lol.  And how about keeping it current?  I'm pretty terrible about playing with retired stamps, I admit, lol.  So, I finally landed on the Fern & Flora suite, BUT, this sketch is just way too symmetrical for me!  So I moved over the vertical a little, shh...  Anyway, lol, I wanted to start breaking into the papers from the DSP that have these super rich Golden Glow florals on them, too - just so pretty!  I went with this one, and added some wispy ferns for my ovals.  I also wrapped on some old Crushed Curry baker's twine for my vertical - I think it's close enough!
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for our sketch - meet you at the challenge!

Lol, check out the "buzz" at Color Hues #135 - so fun!
Now of course a yellow and black combo makes me think of bumblebees - how not?  But there was some amazing inspo from the DT at the challenge - it really made the wheels start turning!  I decided to go back and do another Golden Days stencil arrangement in yellows - this set is SO dramatic, I love it!  But how to differentiate from my earlier pink one?  I started by centering my first stencil over my paper, and layered on four colors of yellow as I worked through the rest.  As I layered the finished flower over black, I decided to cut the black layer down a smidge so the flower would go edge to edge, and then fussy cut the white space OFF.  Yeah, there's even more drama to be had, lol.  My centering was so even that I also went landscape with this one, and I'm so pleased that it looks like I planned it all along!

Oo, I'm loving the theme at Shopping Our Stash #576 - summertime!
So glad I can FINALLY try out another clearance set I picked up from Colorado Crafts of the Anita Jeram bunnies in action - I think this one is called Fun in the Sun, and it has a set of dies, too!  I set up a beachy background by blending on some "sand" in Crumb Cake at the bottom edge of a sheet from the Beach Boardwalk DSP, then stamped all my beach bunnies, lol.  So fun to color!  I had a bit f a time getting them all on there, but I think it all works out, lol.  Last, I fussy cut the sentiment to do a little cascade, and finished with some sequins and gems.  Let's hit the beach!
Colorado Craft AJ852 Fun in the Sun Stamp Set & Dies; Beach Boardwalk DSP; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Golden Glow, Lemon Lolly, Real Red & Azure Afternoon Blends Markers; Whale of a Time Sequins (retired); Lemon Lolly Solid Gems (retired); #SOS576.

Lol, I SO love it when Cupcake Inspirations has an "anything goes" challenge, and they show naked cupcakes for it!  I'm not a huge frosting fan anyway, lol!
Inspired by the colors of a naked cupcake, lol, I couldn't resist another crack at out Product-of-the-Month stamp set, Wild Bunch!  I couldn't wait to color up a highland cow or three, and decided to float him over a sheet of Golden Glow Gingham.  I did go ahead and try my hand at the little scribbled checkered pattern in the set as well - looks kind f cool over the gingham, I think!  He had to have a crooked hat, too - 'cause he's a party cow!
Wild Bunch Stamp Set (POTM June 2026); Gingham Gallery DSP; Basic White & Earle Espresso CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Early Espresso Inks; Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Peaceful Pine & Golden Glow Blends Markers; Early Espresso Earthy Matte Dots; #CIC638.

Such a sunny inspiration pic at this round of First Cup Challenge #15!
I knew as soon as saw all those sunglasses that I needed to pull out my Splash & Relax bundle for this one, lol.  And the dies also include a fun bubble-top drink - perfect!  I can never resist floating this set over this watery paper from our Beach Boardwalk DSP, and SO glad I have a little extra for continued hoarding, lol.  I chose some fun and summery coordinating colors for my elements and went to town!  I can't help but smile as I look at this - I think I need new pool cups around here in these colors!
Splash & Relax Stamp Set & Dies; Beach Boardwalk DSP; Basic White, Basic Black, Summer Sun, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Petunia Pop & Fresh Freesia CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; White Iridescent Discs; #FCC15.
