How to choose? Shopping Our Stash #560 would like us to show off a few of our favorite things! This really does sound like my kind of challenge, lol. First off, I love CRITTERS as a design element - that's right! I'm a regular Noah's Arc here! I also love designer paper - the colors, the patterns, so fun to dress up or down! I also love to fussy cut - adds such a dramatic effect - BUT, I'm also a fan of pretty die-cut shapes as well - so I captured both on today's card. Last, I would be totally remiss if I didn't touch down on my most favorite thing of all - which is embellishments! I can never have enough! So glad to pull out my Way to Goat stamp set from 2022 to illustrate all my favorite things - thanks, buddy! Way To Goat Stamp Set (retired 2022); Perfectly Plaid DSP; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Smoky Slate & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Cloud Cover Faux Linen Ribbon; Could Cover Flat Pearls; #SOS560.

I'm back again at First Cup Challenges #8 - time for Thanksgiving! After some consideration, I might not quite have nailed Thanksgiving, but I have Fall down! I went back to out Merry Cafe Stamp Set from 2017 - combined with Coffee Cafe and the Coffee Cups Dies, this is a still-awesome combo! I love that there are two sizes of cups to choose from, and SO many little coffee shop accessories - like the playful belly band I stamped up today! I made my cup extra fancy by stamping on this oak and acorn sheet from the Rings of Love DSP pack - perfect for Fall! I'm so glad I found this challenge - so much fun! I never quite realized how many "drink" sets I have, lol. Coffee Cafe (retired 2019) & Merry Cafe (retired 2017) Stamp Sets; Rings of Love & So Saffron DSP (both retired); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso & Crushed Curry Inks; Coffee Cups Dies (retired); Gold Cording Trim; Timid Tiger Flat Pearls; #FCC8. OK, these are adorable "get well" cupcakes at this round of Cupcake Inspiration #630! I was really attracted to the "under the weather" tagline here, lol, I have SUCH a cold right now! So it feels appropriate to stamp a card for me, lol. I turned to my 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar collection for this one - the sentiment was just right! I really love this daisy DSP, and floated it over some Misty Moonlight, I added a few butterflies in Crushed Curry as well, to go around this postage die-cut shape for my sentiment. I wrapped some of the Misty Moonlight Baker's Twine around my tag end to fill some of the white space. I think this is so pretty altogether! So fun to play with this versatile collection! 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Stamp Set & Suite Collection; Basic White & Misty Moonlight CS; Misty Moonlight & Crushed Curry Inks; #CIC630. What beautiful Fall cookies they have for us at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #210! That's some fabulous autumnal inspiration! I was most attracted to the pumpkins and leaves, of course, lol, and I pulled my Amber Autumn bundle to see what I could do! I actually played with BOTH the focal images, figuring I could tuck the acorns behind the pumpkins, and also add some extra die-cut leaves. I also tried for a softer color look by Water Painting instead of coloring with markers. A trio of Earth Tone Shimmer Gems finishes things off! Amber Autumn Stamp Set & Dies; Autumn Toile DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze & Crushed Curry CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Beige, Timid Tiger, Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Cajun Craze Inks; Water Painter; Tasteful Labels Dies; Earth Tome Shimmer Gems; #Cookie210. I am so super excited to host our sketch this round at Sunday Stamps #373 - I hope you love it! I'm so thrilled to finally get a chance to ink up my gorgeous Friendly Foliage bundle from our latest Online Exclusives! I was totally jazzed to be one of the few "SW Locals" who made it to the Kanab Facility tour organized by our DDM (SU-speak for Regional Demo Support!) Natalie White. I've already shown off my adorable Valentine Kisses set - this foliage set was the one presented by the OTHER artist who presented to us that day - and what a treat to get to peek in his sketch book! We might have seen some cute mice in our future! Anyway, he walked us all through his process for developing this fun set - and I LOVED the two part dies to make this "peekaboo" effect for the stems! I can't wait to see YOUR fun projects with my sketch - meet you at the challenge! Friendly Foliage Stamp Set & Dies; Timeless Plaid DSP; Basic White & Basic Beige CS; Mossy Meadow & Versamark Inks; Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim; Mossy Meadow Low-Profile Sparkle Dots; #SSC373. Lol, we have some Franken-spiration at this round of SU Only #388! Bring on the green! So, even though it's a teeny bit late for the big spooky day, I borrowed my DL's Spooky Halloween bundle - Sarah always gets the corny Halloween stuff, lol! At first I thought I'd have to skip this challenge, but then I remembered how weird she is (hee hee!!) I went straight for the franken-pup - he's pretty darn cute! And of course, I had to do one of these haunted houses from the dies - I backed all the windows with Crushed Curry for that glowing look! I also love all this over my very last sheet of this pretty plaid from Plaid Tidings - I'm one of the 4 people in the world who loves candy corn, so I've used all this sheet first, lol. Spooky Halloween Stamp Set & Dies; Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Basic White, Crushed Curry & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Pumpkin Pie & Gray Granite Blends Markers; Iridescent Black Pearls; #SUOC388. Such a cute combo at this round of In{k}spire Me #574 - but those colors look tough! Well, I couldn't manage the colors this time, but the sketch inspired me to finally bust in to my 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar! What a cool little suite collection! The stamps gave me the perfect images and sentiment for the sketch, and there was some awesome DSP in one of the doors, as well as TWO sets of dies! I also used these gold glitter gems I found in another door - a match made in heaven, but still so many other products to break in! I can't wait, lol. 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Suite Collection; plus, Basic White, Secret Sea, Old Olive & Basic Beige CS; Secret Sea, Flirty Flamingo, Misty Moonlight & Crushed Curry Inks; Eyelet 3D EF; #IMC574. So fun! I spotted FarmQuest #77's pumpkin theme and couldn't resist! I don't think I've used the cute little pumpkins that come as an accessory in our awesome Tractor & Co set, so I went with those! I've also been wanting to set the tractor up against my old Day at the Farm DSP, too - perfect hilly farm scenery for a busy tractor, lol. I did today's tractor up in Granny Apple Green, a la John Deere, lol, and tried out the cute thanks sentiment, too. So cute and playful - I need to use this set more! Tractor & Co Stamp Set & Dies; A Day at the Farm DSP; Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Granny Apple Green & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Granny Apple Green Stamp-n-Write Marker; Tasteful Label Dies; Orange Faux Glass Dots; #FQCB77. Wow, I'm really loving the colors at this round of Hand Stamped Sentiments #475 - gorgeous! I felt like getting all bundled up today, lol, so I pulled out our sweet Stay Warm set, and paired it with this cuddly sentiment from Snowflake Kisses - my favorite combo! After setting up the background in Secret Sea, I stamped all my knitted goodies in Cherry onto Pool Party - I would totally love to have a sweater in these colors! After a bit of fussy cutting, I also added some of the tiniest snowflakes from the those dies - super cute details! Time to snuggle! Stay Warm & Snowflake Kisses Stamp Sets; Traditions of Christmas DSP; Basic White, Cherry Cobbler & Pool Party CS; Cherry Cobbler Ink; Snowflake Kisses Dies; Iridescent Discs; #HSS475. Such a cute sketch at this round of Try a Sketch on Tuesday #682 - I love it! I knew I wanted to pull out my one vertical stamp set for this one - last year's Vertical Blooms set. But what to have with it? As I was scanning the shelves for some shapes that I thought would fit, I spotted Happiness Blooms, and I was reminded of the gorgeous DSP - which I totally still have!! And so, this card was born. Not much layering so I could fit that sentiment in, but still, I really like the look! Vertical Blooms Stamp Set (retired 2024; Hues of Happiness DSP (retired); Basic White CS; Night of Navy Ink; Night of Navy Milky Dots; #TSOT682. |
