Merry Foils

Oo, nice!  Christmas Craft Creations has a Metallics challenge for September!
I think I still have yesterday's brights on the brain, because I immediately thought of the new foils I got with the Merry Bold & Bright suite!  The foils have sheets of both Melon Mambo AND Granny Apple Green!  This gave me a chance to play more with a few of the Merry & Bright elements I haven't had out yet, too.  I thought the filament die was super cute to add to my foil bulbs, and I tried the stamped strand this time - so cute!  I couldn't resist the "fun" sentiment, this was so fun to play with!

Perfect - we have a lovely layered sketch this round at As You See It #308!
All these layers made me think of some bright and bold DSP, so I naturally turned to my Merry Bold & Bright pack, lol.  I am loving pairing this with the Festive & Fun critter set, too!  Today I went with my pudding-bearing moose and the little beaver - the last two I haven't stamped yet!  So much fun to color!  I had to shift my sentiment upwards a bit so I could still show off those awesome moose antlers, but it's all good, lol.  This card makes me smile so much!
I can't wait to see what YOU do with our fun sketch - the sky's the limit!  Meet you at the challenge!
Festive & Fun Stamp Set; Merry Bold & Bright DSP; Basic White & Shaded Spruce CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Versamark Inks; Shimmer White EP; Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Real Red & Shaded Spruce Blends Markers; Iridescent Discs; #AYSI308.

Shaker in a Bottle (& Pumpkin Club Sep 30!)

Yeah, baby, Shopping Our Stash #505 wants us to "shakes things up!"  Woo hoo!
I had some fun with this one, and it actually has quite a few items I've had sitting around!  Somehow, I never really used my bottle shaker domes much, but I NEVER used the stash of Effervescent Elements I got to go with them, lol.  Today's the day!  I started with a full card front of the beautiful Waves of the Ocean DSP - I still love this stuff so much!  I set up my shaker very carefully - I pre-punched where my dome would go and had to stamp my bottle color through the layers - very exciting, lol.  I added a few more bottles to round out the colors, and then carefully dropped some "bubbles in my dome, and a tiny scrap of rolled up Pool Party DSP scrap - with a quick love note on the inside that no one will ever see, lol.  I'm so happy with this cutie, but sorry the dome doesn't photograph too well!
Bottled Happiness Stamp Set; Waves of the Ocean DSP (retired); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green Inks; Vintage Bottle Punch; Vintage Bottle Shaker Domes; Effervescent Elements; Night of Navy Enamel Dots; Scrap of Pool Party DSP & Linen Thread; #SOS505.

Another fun challenge this month from The Flower Challenge #84 - they would like us to use a die!
I couldn't resist putting together a simple stem using our Sending Smiles set - so many fun phrases to build, and such sweet blossoms!  These dies are so easy to put together, too!  I started with my two-flower stem, and stamped up a couple florets for it, in Berry Burst with Daffodil Delight centers.  A quick "Sending" phrase came after!  I even tailored the little tag to a custom length for my thanks - so easy!  I finished with a flurry of Brushed Brass Butterflies - I forget these guys sometimes!

We have such pretty Fall inspiration for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #423!
With my new Fall suite fully tasked in class boxes right now, I decided to browse my retired shelves for this one!  When I spotted Sparkle of the Season from 2021, I realized I really hadn't used this set much!  It even has Fall theme images, too - so I went for it!  I started with a  base wreath in Crumb Cake, and then went to town with all the autumnal elements in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive, with touches of Early Espresso for good measure.  At the last second I spotted the tiny pumpkin de, too, and since there were some on the pretty wreath inspo that caught my eye, I added a trio of those in Naturals White at the last second.  A simple banner sentiment and some Brushed Bronze Dots finishes things off!  So many little pieces!
I can't wait to see YOUR creations for this fun inspo board - so much to choose from!  Meet you at the challenge!
Sparkle of the Season Stamp Set (retired 2021); Cajun Craze DSP (retired); Basic White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Crushed Curry & Naturals White CS; Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Cajun Craze Inks; Seasonal Swirls Dies; Brushed Bronze Dots; #HSS423.

So perfect for the start of Fall - The Male Room #178 has a "leaves" challenge for us this month!
Instead of going Autumnal, I got a little stuck on my Gorgeously Made bundle, lol.  I started by flipping through the DSP pack for some color inspiration, though I ended up not using any even though I lifted this combo from one of the sheets!  I went for a simple leafy stem over some Timeworn Type texture, after I used the broken text stamp from the set.  (Got to open a brand new Versamark for it, too, it was glorious!)  I also got to play with the notebook edge die - so cool!  This ended up being a fun mix of elements, but still manly enough, I think!
Gorgeously Made Stamp Set; Basic White, Pretty Peacock & Lost Lagoon CS; Pretty Peacock Ink; Gorgeously Made Dies; Timeworn Type EF; Lost Lagoon Tinsel Gems; #TMR178.

We have a lovely banner sketch for you this round at Sunday Stamps #318!
The first thing I saw was the "any shape" opportunity, lol, so I knew immediately I needed to do a leaf!  So of course I had to trot out my Autumn Leaves suite for this one!  I just finished designing a suit focus set for this one, so this sketch was ALSO perfect for diving into a few scraps I still have left!  I had to hunt through all the class boxes for the stamps I wanted, but it was SO worth it!  I think Moody Mauve is turning into my favorite new In Color!
I can't wait to see YOUR creations for our fun sketch - meet you at the challenge!
Autumn Leaves Stamp Set; All About Autumn DSP; Very Vanilla, Moody Mauve & Crumb Cake CS; Moody Mauve Ink; Autumn Leaves Dies; Distressed Tile EF; Speckled Dots in Moody Mauve; #SSC318.

Wow, the September challenge for If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #184 looks super YUM!  Look at all that chocolate!
I really did almost make a box of chocolates, lol, but I went instead for Wildlife Wonder - I haven't used it in a bit, and I LOVE this bear, lol.  I was also psyched to see I stuck a mask for his feet inside the case, so I could stamp his ground image without any overlap - yes!  I did up my bear in Pecan Pie, and added lots of Early Espresso details, except for my Pecan Pie Solid Gems - pie and a coffee, mmm, now I need a snack!

Yay!  With a new month, AAA Birthday #53 is back, and they want to see animals on our cards this round - my fave!
I decided I haven't been using my Zany Zoo enough - especially not the DSP I'm hoarding!  I picked out this cheery elephant from the party sheet and added a little extra color with my Blends Markers - so easy!  After fussy cutting him, I decided to dress up my background with my newly acquired Cheery Patterns embossing folders, too.  For this first time out, I used them both!  I finished with a few Fine Sparkle Gems for some low-key shine - love it!
Zany Zoo Stamp Set; Zoo Crew DSP; Basic White, Basic Black & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Smoky Slate & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Cheery Patterns EFs; 1 1/4" & 1 1/2" Circle Punches; Fine Sparkle Gems; #AAAB53.

So glad to have a new round at NBUS #54 - always fun to play with something new!
I don't think I could get a better straight line to finally break in my new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks!  The layered sunflower images have really been calling me, so that's what I'm trying first - so easy to use!  The layering stencils themselves are notched to make them easier to align, but I'm not sure you even need that, they're so well designed!  Love how nice and heavy the stencil material is!  After I blended on my flowers, which I tried to keep a little on the brighter side, I finished with this cute "thank you" from Something Fancy - just right!  So happy with how this came out!
Something Fancy Stamp Set; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks; Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, Granny Apple Green & Versamark Inks; White EP; Something Fancy Dies; Linen Thread, Rustic Metallic Dots; #NBUS54.
