Eventually I ended up back at the shelves of retirement, and spotted last year's Broadway Birthday - and it has candles in it! Woo hoo - a little birthday candle sparkle could be just the thing! I pulled out my fave "everything" DSP, Playing With Patterns, to help with colors - and I couldn't resist this happy polka dot sheet, lol. I forgot the dies had this big swishy "wish," love it!  Time for another new-to-me challenge! This one is for Christmas Craft Creations "Winter Blues" theme - another good one! I couldn't resist doing a full-front cover for my card in this gorgeous sheet from Feels Like Frost DSP - I'm so sad because I figure it's SO unlikely this beauty will carry over again this year, sigh. I went through THREE packs of this stuff, lol, which has got to be some kind of record for me! I'll be down to hoarding soon, I guess, lol. Anyway, this blue frosty sheet has been one of my many faves, and I thought the beautiful woodcut look of our old Nature's Peace stamp would look lovely over it. I'm super excited to be able to play at Paper Craft Crew #405/406 this week - it's even a double whammy of a sketch AND a theme! One I've had the most fun playing with, though, is our Peace & Joy set - LOVE the layered sentiments, and fun stems images to arrange around the words - SO cool, and so fun to do in all different color combos! Today I mixed it up with my beloved retired All Is Calm DSP - we don't have some of these colors any more, but Pretty Peacock did a pretty good sub for Lost Lagoon, sigh... What a fun project! I knew right away that for a winter theme, I HAD to use my beloved Feels Like Frost DSP - the photo sides of these papers never fail to amaze me, and the silver designs on the other aren't too shabby either, lol. I chose this lovely snowy scene, and broke it up a little into columns. Then I went hunting for a pretty sentiment. I've always loved this quote from Psalm 55, so I've saved this Blessing From Heaven set since 2011 just to keep it handy - looks gorgeous over the pretty scene!
