Oh gosh, this is an adorable combo this week at Fusion's "critter" challenge!
After a bit of dithering, though, I focused on the sketch only - I really haven't used my Bloom & Grow set much at all, and it really seems made for this one!  Since I also have the gorgeous dies for this one, I also put it all on dimensionals - love that look!  I stamped everything in my Memento, and had a quiet few minutes coloring it all in with my Blends.  I kept the colors soft - I'm seeing this as a lovely wedding card!  I even finished the inside with a "congrats" from Peaceful Moments!
Bloom & Grow and Peaceful Moments Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Soft Sea Foam CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mango Melody, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo So Saffron & Granny Apple Green Blends Markers; Budding Blooms Dies; Layered Leaves EF; Clear Epoxy Droplets; #FusionCritter.

I'm so super excited to be a guest designer at this week's CAS on Friday #160 - and it's all about the people!  Don't you just love the people??  Lol, that was a Madagascar reference, get it?
I was really keeping my fingers and toes crossed that my first big new catty order would get here in time for this challenge, because I SO wanted to feature Serene Silhouettes - just beautiful images in this one, and I love the sentiments that go with them, too.  There's a brilliant die set that goes along as well, that includes three additional words, and I was so happy to incude one of those, too, lol.  I tried to keep as much white space as I could, but I couldn't resist featuring Purple Posy again, lol.  Even though I still don't have a stamp pad, I now have the markers, so I hauled out my old spritzing tool and went to town.  Love it!  I used to spritz EVERYTHING, lol.
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with over at CAS on Friday!  See you there!

Oo, a great June theme - the Sisterhood of Crafters has a wedding/anniversary challenge this week!
So, there's been a technique making the rounds lately, called "No Line Watercoloring," that has just been calling to me - hello, aqua-painter techniques!  I'm so there!  So naturally, my first pass at this I pick a fussy-as-heck image to give it a go on, lol.  But I LOVE the look of the "bouquet" in our departing Wonderful Romance set {SOB}, and the sentiment from our also leaving Petal Palette {SOB, SOB} is just the perfect combo for a sweet wedding thought!  Basically you stamp as light an image as possible (I used stamped off Sahara Sand) and then you aqua-paint right up to and maybe over those lines to color in, making it look like you have free-hand painted this pretty image!  I'm fairly pleased with my first try!
Wonderful Romance & Petal Palette Stamp Sets; Soft Sea Foam & Watercolor CS; Sahara Sand, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, So Saffron, Petal Pink & Soft Suede Inks; Layered Leaves EF; Wonderful Floral Dies; Pale Olive Glimmer Dots (retired); #TSOCWedding.

Oh hooray!  It feels like it's been a bit since I got to play at tic-tac-toe, and how fun it will be to add that twist with Retro Rubber #111!
After a quick study, I think I'll go with the center horizontal of "cake-flowers-one layer" - I have just the thing!  I'm so pleased that Piece of Cake is one of our carrying over sets - and this pretty wedding cake assembly isn't one I've gotten to use too much yet, so even better!  I kept it bare bones for a clean and simple one layer, and since I was so sparing, I feel like my three shiny sequins are not too over the top, lol.  Quick and pretty - the best of all cards!
Piece of Cake Stamp Set; Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Pineapple Punch & Pool Party Blends Markers; Iridescent Sequins; #RR111.

Just in time for the start of Spring, we have a soft and sweet color challenge for you at this week's Sunday Stamps #201!
I decided all these pretty colors called out for some spring flowers, which got me to thinking about something nice for a bridal shower - in Arizona, Spring weddings are already starting up, lol.  Petal Palette provided the lovely blossoms, and I found just the right sentiments in Special Celebrations - I even have some inside phrases about old , new, borrowed and blue!  Spring has sprung!
So, what will YOU do with our lovely colors?  I can't wait to see, over at the challenge!
Petal Palette & Special Celebrations Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pear Pizzazz, SO Saffron, Pool Party & Highland Heather Inks; Aqua-painter; Petals & More Thinlits; Purple and pink Pearls (I think from an old paper pumpkin!); #SSC201.

I love our alpine colors this week at Sunday Stamps #187!  And I think I can do something fun with them for Global Design Project #154's pretty landscape sketch!
So, I suspect a theme for me whenever I spy Mint Macaron in a color challenge is going to be to run straight for the gorgeous First Frost suite, lol.  Seriously, I just can't get over the beautiful pearly papers in the Frosted Floral DSP!  I'm excited too by how the sketch allowed me to sneak some BRIGHT pops of color against my wintry background - I think I'll be filing this one in the wedding section - for real!
I can't wait to see your beautiful ideas with our colors - see you at SSC!
First Frost Stamp Set; Frosted Floral DSP; Whisper White & Tranquil Tide CS; Tranquil Tide, Mint Macaron, Real Red & Melon Mambo Inks; Frosted Bouquet Framelits; Real Red Solid Baker's Twine; #SSC187; #GDP154.

Gosh, look at all the fun inspiration pics at Hand-Stamped Sentiments #288 this week!  How to choose??  At least I'll have Freshly Made Sketch #334 to help me out, too!
My eye was immediately drawn to the bicycle picture from HSS, and I thought of this Pedal Pusher set from 2016's Sale-a-Bration - I loved it!  It's a tough call because we have such a fun CURRENT bicycle set with dies and all, sigh...  This one isn't very tall, though, so it went better with the sketch - you gotta do what you gotta do!  I stuck to the lovely blues in the DSP for my colors, and kept it quick and simple - the best kind!
Pedal Pusher Stamp Set (retired 2016); Picture Perfect Party DSP; Bermuda Bay & Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Bermuda Bay, Pool Party & Smoky Slate Markers; Bermuda Bay Enamel Shapes; #HSS288; #FMS334.

Partial Petals

I'm excited to try my hand at our April Technique Challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday - partial die-cutting!  I'm tossing in these sweet colors from Color Throwdown #486 just for fun, too!
I've actually been wanting to do a partial diecut card since our last On Stage convention, when one was show-cased during one the demonstrations - so simple and so dramatic!  I hope I did it justice.  Here's what I did:  I stamped an image that had some "outlying" parts, in this case, the flower trio from Petal Palette.  I ran the die part way thru my Big shot, so that these leaves were cut, but all the rest was attached.  Then I "hung" a circle die around the cut part, so I could circle cut the remainder of the image, which I also layered over its Scallop circle.  Quick and fun!
Can't wait to see YOUR creations - see you at the challenge!
Petal Palette Stamp Set; Petal Passion DSP; Flirty Flamingo, Powder Pink & Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo & Powder Pink Markers; Petals & More Thinlits; Layering Circles Framelits; Basic Jewel Pearls; #TSOTAprilTech ; #CTD486.

SU Only #196 has a lovely "Spring" challenge for us this week!  I'll use Case This Sketch #263 to get me there, too, and TGIF #151's inspiration for good measure!
All these pretty spring flower hints had me running to my Petal Palette suite, of course, and today was a good day to color, too!  I picked out the yellow, orange and rose colors from TGIF, shuffled around some elements CTS, and hope it's Spring-y enough for SUO, lol.  I think I really do like the Daffodil-Pumpkin-Coral combo.  I have a tiny oddness:  My card base, which has some stamping on the inside, is Pear Pizzazz, but the background color I added to my DSP was Wild Wasabi.  I think I can live with it!
Petal Palette Stamp Set; Petal Passion DSP; Pear Pizzazz, Basic Black & Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral & Wild Wasabi Blends; Layering Circles Framelits; #SUO196; #CTS263; #TGIF151.

Love this centralized sketch from TGIF #146 - it'll be perfect for my "walk down memory lane" for As You See It #169!
For today's combo, I started with my memory walk - and the very first tool I ever got was my Marker Spritzer - and man-oh-man was I into spritzing, lol!  So fun to put just that right touch of speckle everywhere - I couldn't let a piece of cardstock get away unscathed at one point, lol.  So it seemed like a good time to try for a more restrained spritz background for my Lots of Lavender sale-a-bration set.  I think I managed to control myself better today!
Lots of Lavender & Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Perfect Plum CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Perfect Plum & Pear Pizzazz Inks; Perfect Plum & Pear Pizzazz Markers; Layering Ovals Framelits; Silver Cording Trim; Spritzer Tool; #TGIF146; #AYSI169.
