 Another great combo at this week's Fusion "lemon-hydrangea" combo - such pretty colors! I decided to stick to the sketch, but try to pull in the colors a little, too. I knew right away I wanted a big flower in my lower left corner, and quickly realized that the gorgeous Artistically Inked has a perfect one! I went with the soft Fresh Freesia, added a Daffodil center, and a few leaves in Soft Succulent - quickly becoming one of my favorite greens! I added my sentiment, and felt like I needed just a touch of bling, so out came our super sweet Bumblebee Trinkets. I love sneaking in a little bee, lol! Simple and quick! Oh goodie - Retro Rubber #163 is back with a new tic-tac-toe for us! So fun! After my usual dithering, lol, I went with the center horizontal: embossing - green - wood. I had a little flash that could combine the wood and embossing into one element by using one of my woody embossing folders! After that I just needed to find something likely for the "green" category. Flowering Desert is perfect - an appropriate, too, as we're finally getting the monsoon we deserve this year here in Arizona! You should see how plump my saguaro is getting, lol. Fussy-cutting a crazy cactus is one of my favorite things to do, so I built this beauty and went to work. Such a fun project today!
