Today's In{k}spire Me #230 New Year's challenge is a PERFECT way to celebrate! I have been itching to try out these lovely new Large Number framelits from the 2016 Occasions catty - I really wanted to use the beautiful stamp set, Number of Years, that goes with it, too. In the end though, the thought of sparkly glimmer paper digits did me in, lol... I added a few little retired elements to really make the New Year's transformation, but I hope you like the big swirl of champagne I squeezed in with the gorgeous Perfectly Artistic DSP from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration! Pretty sure there's a sheet of Tequila Sunrises in there, too... Balloon Bash (retired) & Making Spirits Bright (retired) Stamp Sets; Perfectly Artistic DSP (SAB 2016); Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper; Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Blackberry Bliss & Crushed Curry Inks; Large Number Framelits; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; Clear Wink of Stella.

I'm so sad we're coming to the end of this month's MPC1215 - Season of Giving! This has been such a fun and festive kit, so perfect for the most wonderful time of year! For this week, I wanted to make a few holiday-themed thank you's, and once again, Paper Pumpkin has come to my rescue! This one is simple and sweet, with a few pops of color, and my favorite mistletoe, of course! Season of Giving is also the Season of Thanks, for our household, lol. I hope you've enjoyed this year with us at My Pumpkin Challenge! We love to hear from you, and see your creations! Have a wonderful New Year's and happy stampin'! Mistletoe & Holly Paper Pumpkin; plus, One Great Year Stamp Set; Banner Triple & Wide Oval Punches; Elegant Dots Embossing Folder. So, it actually took me a few weeks to realize that I think Su-per Challenges moved their posting day to Saturdays, lol, which allows me to be SU-per two days in row here - today with this totally cute SU-per #118 sketch! I decided to sneak in another hurrah with Lighthearted Leaves today - I'm going to miss this one, SOB. And this yummy Autumn paper, too, sigh. A little wood grain always comes in handy on a man card, lol! Had some fun with markers, tossed on a quick thank you, and we are good to go! Lighthearted Leaves & Perfect Pairings (2016 SAB) Stamp Sets; Into The Woods DSP; Early Espresso & Whisper White CS; Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow & Tangelo Twist Inks; Leaflets Framelits; Banner Triple & Banner Punches; Sycamore Street Buttons (retired); White Bakers Twine. A fun CASE this week at SU-per #117 - love it! I decided to treat this CASE like a sketch, and play with new toys, of course! The little chick from Honeycomb Happiness is just so adorable! I wanted to use it with a cute little pastel honeycomb, too, but I', worried it would be smooshed in my card's envelope, so I skipped it for now... I'll have to think about how I'll deal with that going forward! This came out nice and Spring-y - maybe a bit too soon since we haven't hit New year's yet? Honeycomb Happiness (2016 SAB) & Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Stes; Birthday Bouquet DSP; Whisper White CS; Basic Black Archival, Soft Suede, Mint Macaron & So Saffron Inks; Banner Triple & Banner Punches; Subtles Button in So Saffron; White Baker's Twine; Clear Glitter Wink of Stella. I'm so excited by the fun sketch at this week's Nacho Average Challenge #173! It seems to me an awesome chance to feature some yummy new DSP, and of course, another new stamp set. I think I'll preview a couple Sale-A-Bration goodies for you, too! It was a no brainer for me to land on the gorgeous Wildflower Fields DSP, and to match my beloved Blackberry Bliss with an Old Olive card base. The flip side of that sheet had some nice white space for me to stamp over with my new Hello stamp set as well. Stamping directly onto DSP is something I'm slowly starting to get more OK with, lol... Good thing, since we have a few that are actually made with coordinating stamp sets just FOR that! Anyway, I'm really pleased with this quick and simple hello for a friend - can't wait to mail it! Hello Stamp Set (2016 SAB); Wildflower Fields DSP (2016 SAB); Old Olive, Calypso Coral & Old Olive CS; Blackberry Bliss Ink; Elegant Dots Embossing Folder; Banner Punch; Botanical Garden Jewel Embellishment. Look at this sweet sketch from Sunday Sketches #116 - just for Boxing Day! I don't know about you, but I'm having a pretty tough time this year identifying just one "favorite" from the 2016 Occasions catty - are you getting excited for January 5 yet? Lucky for me, there are no "favorites" police around to make me stick to just one, lol. This set here, Balloon Celebration, is definitely in my top five, and the rest of the cute sentiments are just begging to be mixed and matched with several other adorable sets! After a couple false starts, I also finally figured out how to stamp these balloons so that they line up with their matching punch - woo hoo! So here's the tip: stamp the balloons lengthwise on strips of paper, and make the small ones "point" AT each other, and the large ones "point" AWAY from each other. Trust me, you'll get it the first time you use this punch! Balloon Celebration Stamp Set; Birthday Bouquet DSP; Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride & Whisper White CS; Smoky Slate, Mint Macaron, Pool Party & Watermelon Wonder Inks; Balloon Bouquet & Large Star Punches; Softly Falling Embossing Folder; Basic Jewel Rhinestones. Oo, crazy busy sketch over at Retro Sketch #195! I will not be afraid! So, let's have a little fun with this one! As soon as I saw the Playful Pals bundle, I was SMIT! All I can think of is all the critters I can make, and, ahem, make UP, lol. Framelits always cinch the deal for me, too, sigh. I know I'll be making some lovely and fun pyramid favors this year, but I couldn't wait to try out the critter part first. And of course, an elephant never forgets a birthday, right? Playful Pals & Number of Years Stamp sets; Sweet L'il Things DSP; Pool Party, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey & Very Vanilla CS; Tip Top Taupe, Pool Party & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Circles Collection Framelits; Pyramid Pals Thinlets; Decorative Dots Embossing Folder; Banner Punch. Time for a BIG milestone over at Can You Case It #100 - happy anniversary! Great work! For such a grand occasion, I had to pull out what very well may be the most gorgeous new set of the 2016 Spring Mini - Rose Wonder, and its accompanying thinlet set, Rose Garden (YES!) I just wanted to get as much beautiful silver and tinted rose on the card as I could, and I love it! The thinlets went very well - super easy, especially since I used a little layer of was paper to help things along, too. To make this card, I actually stamped in black on the card front, so I could watercolor the flowers in BEFORE running and adding the outlines in silver. So, just so you know, the thinlets you get match the stamps EXACTLY - perfect! A big congrats to the whole team at Can You Case It?! Thanks fr being such a wonderful source of inspiration and creativity! Rose Wonder Stamp Set; Whisper White, Old Olive, Calypso Coral & Silver Foil CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive & Calypso Coral Inks; Rose Garden Thinlets; Metallics Sequins in Silver. It's Paper Pumpkin to my rescue once again this week at MPC1215 - Season of Giving! I suddenly realized it'd be real nice to have a quick chocolate treat for our neighbor's grandson, who graciously agreed to help us out - he came over and let out all our dogs for a potty break and a snuggle so we could stay out late at a fun Christmas party! That SO deserves a reward, and I of course happen to have an excess of Christmas kisses on hand just now, lol. A quick pleated treat bag converted from our lovely Sketched Dots Treat Bag, and a cute tag to clip on from the awesome Mistletoe & Holly Paper Pumpkin, and we're all set! Hugs and doggy kisses all 'round! See you at the challenge! Mistletoe & Holly Paper Pumpkin; plus, Sketched Dots Tag A Bag; Scallop Tag Topper & PL Corner Rounder Punches; Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon; Snowflake Elements; Tiny Clothespin; Hershey's Kisses! Oo, sneaking in another Christmas card with TGIF #34's Holly Jolly Christmas challenge! After a moment's thought, I decided to go pretty literal for this one, lol. I got some holly, and I got some jolly, and I went to town! The beautiful holly pattern in the Season of Cheer DSP really made this a snap, and 3 or 4 layers of our fun Christmas Greetings thinlets helped me finish off with a flourish! Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set; Season of Cheer DSP; Whisper White, Mossy Meadow & Cherry Cobbler CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Mossy Meadow & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Deco Labels Framelits; Christmas Greetings Thinlets; Updated Essentials Piercing Template; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; Cherry Cobbler Blendie (discontinued.)
