Filled With Gratitude

It's that time again - we'd like to see your gratitude or Thanksgiving cards at Make My Monday #265!
I went back to my Gathered Wheat set from 2022 for this one - I don't have anything else quite like it!  I also pulled in my very last Crushed Curry sheet from Plaid Tidings, too - this old pack of DSP has been a real workout this year, lol.  Anyway, I decided to stamp three partial wheat stem images onto squares and lay them across - kind of like an inchie card, right?  I chose the gratitude sentiment to go beneath them, and since the banner was a little long, I added a diecut wheat head, too!  With my Espresso accents, I added a bow of Early Espresso Linen Thread, and a few Pressed Flower motifs - just right!
I can't wait to see what YOU come up with this round in our gratitude quest - meet you at the challenge!
Gathered Wheat Stamp Set (retired 2022); Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Basic White, Early Espresso & Crushed Curry CS; Crushed Curry & Early Espresso Inks; Stylish Shapes and Wheat (retired) Dies; Early Espresso Linen Thread; Pressed Flower Motifs; #MMM265.

What beautiful Fall cookies they have for us at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #210!  That's some fabulous autumnal inspiration!
I was most attracted to the pumpkins and leaves, of course, lol, and I pulled my Amber Autumn bundle to see what I could do!  I actually played with BOTH the focal images, figuring I could tuck the acorns behind the pumpkins, and also add some extra die-cut leaves.  I also tried for a softer color look by Water Painting instead of coloring with markers.  A trio of Earth Tone Shimmer Gems finishes things off!
Amber Autumn Stamp Set & Dies; Autumn Toile DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze & Crushed Curry CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Beige, Timid Tiger, Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Cajun Craze Inks; Water Painter; Tasteful Labels Dies; Earth Tome Shimmer Gems; #Cookie210.

Excellent!  We have a beautiful harvest theme for you this round at As You See It #360!
Lol, I have to admit, when I was browsing my retired shelves for something that I hadn't stamped in a while, 2020's Painted Harvest kind of leapt out - it actually has the word "harvest" in it!  I have always loved stamping with this one though - the layered sunflowers and leaves, the darling little acorns - it just makes such rich images!  I started with my three sunflowers in Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie, then added some fronds in Old Olive, and finished with some acorns in Pecan Pie - all the good harvest colors, lol.  I still have a bit of the Faux Suede Trim in Early Espresso, and I thought the pressed Flower Motifs looked cute as well!  Time to get a sweater on!  I can't wait to see YOUR harvest projects - meet you at the challenge!

So pretty!  In{k}spire Me #573 is all about Fall/Halloween!
I decided to go with Fall - I don't really mail too many Halloween cards, lol.  I also wanted to feature some retired DSP - time to think that stash!  I landed on this sheet from our old Rings of Love pack - so pretty!  The stamp et that most approximates those leaves in my mind is the just retired Autumn Leaves bundle - such a versatile set, too.  I stamped off three leaves in the colors of the DSP, and did this sweet sentiment to go with - just so pretty and calm.  A few brown Swirl Dots seemed like the perfect match!

Here's a blast from the past! So glad to play at Cardz 4 Guyz #378's Fall theme!
I visited my Shelves of Retirement for this one, to mix things up a little!  I landed on last year's Autumn to Remember, an early scrapping stamp set that we released that I wanted to check out.  It has gorgeous image elements, and the sentiments are a little oversized, so I didn't get to use it TOO much back then, which makes it fun to still pull out now!  I focused on the two shaded leaf images, and did a stamped off cascade for my background before popping up this pretty sentiment.  Then I did a few fussy cut full-strength leaves to add a little more dimension, and finished with some Earth Tone Shimmer Gems.  I love the final look, and I think it's still "crisp" enough for a guy!

Perfect timing - Inspire Create Challenge #202 is an Autumn/Fall theme!
I did break down and get the Amber Autumn suite this year - not only does it have beautiful images and DSP, but it coordinated with out last Paper Pumpkin kit - woo hoo!  I really wanted to color the acorns image for today's card, and I pulled in our retired Wild Wheat to do it, lol.  I chose this simple patterned background in the DSP, and then stamped everything on Basic Beige - it adds a nice subdued tone to the colors, I think!  Once I got all that set, I added some Linen Thread, and finished with my last three Wild Wheat Glossy Dots (unless I have an unopened pack lurking around somewhere, lol.)  Quick and Autumnal!
Amber Autumn Stamp Set & Dies; Autumn Toile DSP; Basic White, Cajun Craze & Basic Beige CS; Early Espresso Ink; Wild Wheat (retired), Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie & Cajun Craze Blends Markers; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Linen Thread; Wild Wheat Glossy Dots (retired); #ICC202.

In{k}spire Me #572 has a sweet Fall combo this round!
This one definitely seemed MADE for our Amber Autumn suite - and that pumpkin sheet is perfect for it!  So I did up the suggested layout, using the pumpkins and gourd image and added the sentiment off to the side a little, after turning the sketch.  Really, this one, I felt like i was just slotting in ingredients right into a recipe, lol.  I guess my added color would be the Wild Wheat I used on the corn!
Amber Autumn Stamp Set & Dies; Autumn Toile DSP; Very Vanilla, Mossy Meadow & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso Ink; Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, SU100 & Wild Wheat (retired) Blends Markers; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Muted Palette Dots; #IMC572.

We are all about Autumn this round at Make My Monday #261 - let the harvest commence!
For this one, I decided to ink up my new Amber Autumn suite!  Beautiful harvest stamps and dies, and the Autumn Toile DSP is super gorgeous!  I love that it all goes with our Very Vanilla - Fall is such a great time of year for it, lol.  I set up a pretty DSP background, with a different patterned column to dress it up, then I set about coloring the pumpkins image from the set!  I had to pull my retired Wild Wheat Blends to feel like I could do the Indian corn justice, lol.  On went the sentiment next, with a few Mossy Meadow leaves tucked underneath, and a few Streaked Dots for fun.  I'm loving how it looks!
I can't wait to see YOUR Autumnal cards for this one - meet you at the challenge!

Speedy Leaves (& Pumpkin Club Aug 30!)

Start your engines!  Our latest speed challenge at As You See It #355 is LEAVES!
This was a tough one - I spotted one of my all-time favorite leaf sets while doing some straitening - Falling For Leaves from 2018.  This one is so fun to color!  But no time for that in a speed challenge - how about heat embossing OVER colors, if I get everything laid out and ready to go??  I'm game!  I set out everything - 3 pieces of colored CS for the leaves, the background for the sentiment, the envelope for some decor.  Opened the Versamark and the Early Espresso, then the bin of Gold EP and set the heat gun by it.  Laid out the gold sequins and the pop dots.  Leaf die waiting on the cutting machine.  Fingers crossed, I started the clock!  It all went off without a hitch, except for a brief pause to plug the heat gun back in after the puppy woke up and yanked it out of the wall - that totally doesn't count!  I almost choked when I realized I would have to trim off some excess leaves, and also shorten the Cajun stem (argh!)  But it all worked out - 8 minutes, 39 seconds!  Yes!
I can't wait to see YOUR speedy creations - meet you at the challenge!
Falling For Leaves Stamp Set (retired 2018); Basic White, Basic Beige, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze & Crushed Curry CS; Early Espresso & Versamark Inks; Gold EP; Gold Sequins; #AYSI355.

Barn Wheat

So glad for a chance to play one last time this year at FarmQuest Challenge Blog #66 - this round is for things found in barns!
I thought I had a tractor, but I don't seem to anymore, lol.  And I feel like I've used my hay bales set before at FQ, so I went hunting for something fresh, lol.  When I spotted Gathered Wheat, I thought, they keep wheat in a barn, right?  If nothing else, there used to be threshing barns, right?  Hope so!  Because I'm going for it, lol!  I did this simple design of the big fancy wheat bundle, over some pretty Crushed Curry plaid.  I also added details in what else?  Wild Wheat!  I cut the single sprouts from that, and added a few Wild Wheat Glossy Dots - looks perfect!
Gathered Wheat Stamp Set (retired 2022); Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Very Vanilla & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso Ink; Daffodil Delight & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Wheat Dies (retired); Linen Thread; Wild Wheat Glossy Dots; #FQCB66.
