I'm loving our bold Fall colors at this round of Retro Rubber #239! I knew right away I had to color with these - I started by pulling all my Blends markers, old AND new, to set my colors! Looking over some fun Fall sets, I felt Falling For Leaves from 2018 calling me! I LOVE these beautiful tricked-out leaves - and perfect for coloring! I decided to focus on two of this larger one, that way I could mix up my colors a bit - such a blast! I love how they came out, and so glad to feature them both! I even fit in this sweet sentiment - a keeper with those multiple fonts! I can't wait to see what YOU make of our bright color challenge - don't forget to make it Retro! Falling For Leaves Stamp Set (retired 2018); Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry (retired), Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie & Mango Melody (retired) Blends Markers; Detailed Leaves Dies; Transparent Dots in Blackberry Bliss; #RRCB239. Wow, In{k}spire Me #518 has another cool combo - I like BOTH sides of this challenge! Such an unusual color combo - I immediately went digging through my DSP scraps to see what I could cover with that, lol. I found this lovely Crushed Curry plaid, and this spiffy Crumb Cake stripes, so I floated those over a panel of Pebbled Path and was on my way! I originally planned to do some kind of graduated flowers for my Berry Burst details, but then I spotted my Pick of the Patch Stamp Set, and knew I needed to use that, just so cute! I even finished with a few Berry Burst Tinsel Gems - perfection! Pick of the Patch Stamp Set; Crushed Curry & Crumb Cake DSP (both retired); Basic White & Pebbled Path CS; Berry Burst & Pebbled Path Inks; Pick of the Patch Punch; White Baker's Twine; Berry Burst Tinsel Gems; #IMC518. Let's make this a memorable holiday season together! We have the perfect Halloween inspiration for you at Hand Stamped Sentiments #426! I couldn't resist all these awesome pumpkins in our inspiration collage - and I had just the thing! I've been looking for a chance to use the super cute pumpkin stamps in our September 2023 Paper Pumpkin - With Love & Gratitude! I love being able to stamp that stem separately, so I can make my gourds whatever colors I want! I floated these 6 over a pretty woodgrain from our awesome All About Autumn DSP pack, and I think they look great! I can't wait to see what YOU create from our lovely inspiration - meet you at the challenge! With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set (Sep 2023); All About Autumn DSP; Basic White & Copper Clay CS; Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, Moody Mauve, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie & Early Espresso Inks; Gold Sequins; #HSS426. So excited to play again at Inspire Create Challenge #153 - and they'd like to see a Fall or Halloween theme this round! I naturally turned again to our gorgeous All About Autumn suite for this one, lol - I just can't get enough of this DSP! I did a simple split layout - not a division I use too often, and then laid a couple pretty leaves over it. The sentiment was a cinch with the little banner shapes included in the dies, too. I even still had enough copper ribbon left to throw on there, and I finished with some Wild Wheat Glossy Dots. I like how this one came together - I really didn't have a plan before starting, lol. Autumn Leaves Stamp Set; All About Autumn DSP; Very Vanilla, Copper Clay & Wild Wheat CS; Copper Clay & Wild Wheat Inks; Autumn Leaves Dies; Copper Ribbon; Wild Wheat Glossy Dots; #ICC153. This looks like a fun one - Cupcake Inspirations #578 wants us to include plaid! After rummaging through my retired DSP bin for my Plaid Tidings pack, I also went for a browse through that vintage stamp collection I'm hosting for a bit, lol. I decided to pull out Turkey Talk from 2002 for this one! Such a cute collection, and not a style of images I usually gravitate towards, lol. I went with this cute Thanksgiving sentiment, and this robust cornucopia image - so fun to pull out all my Blends to color it up! In the end, I decided to fussy cut it, too, for a little added oomph! I finished with a few Fine Sparkle Gems that I thought could go with! I think this set might be growing on me, lol. Turkey Talk Stamp Set (retired 2002); Plaid Tidings DSP (retired); Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Early Espresso Ink; Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat, Cherry Cobbler & Blackberry Bliss Blends Markers; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Fine Sparkle Gems; #CIC578. We have such pretty Fall inspiration for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #423! With my new Fall suite fully tasked in class boxes right now, I decided to browse my retired shelves for this one! When I spotted Sparkle of the Season from 2021, I realized I really hadn't used this set much! It even has Fall theme images, too - so I went for it! I started with a base wreath in Crumb Cake, and then went to town with all the autumnal elements in Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive, with touches of Early Espresso for good measure. At the last second I spotted the tiny pumpkin de, too, and since there were some on the pretty wreath inspo that caught my eye, I added a trio of those in Naturals White at the last second. A simple banner sentiment and some Brushed Bronze Dots finishes things off! So many little pieces! I can't wait to see YOUR creations for this fun inspo board - so much to choose from! Meet you at the challenge! Sparkle of the Season Stamp Set (retired 2021); Cajun Craze DSP (retired); Basic White, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Crushed Curry & Naturals White CS; Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Old Olive & Cajun Craze Inks; Seasonal Swirls Dies; Brushed Bronze Dots; #HSS423. We're ready to see your retro Fall this round at Retro Rubber #215! One of my favorite tree sets is STILL 2019's Sheltering Tree - so much fun! It has lots of little extra details, for all seasons, really, and pretty sentiments to match! Today I stamped up my leaves in pretty autumnal colors, and added a swing and a rake. You just know you want to rake up a big pile of crisp leaves and then jump into them off that swing! Well, that's what I'd do, anyway, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR Fall projects this round - meet you at the challenge! Sheltering Tree Stamp Set (retired 2019); Rings of Love DSP (retired); Basic White & Soft Suede (retired) CS; Soft Suede (retired), Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie & Poppy Parade Inks; Cajun Craze Linen Thread; Gold Brushed Metallic Dots; #RRCB215. All About Autumn Focus Class Sep 16! I'm so excited to show off our gorgeous new Fall suite, All About Autumn, from our fresh new Holiday Mini Catalog! This class can also be FREE with your order of $30 or more! RSVP now to save your spot! Such beautiful inspiration from the design team at Time Out Challenge #244 for their monochromatic challenge! This seemed like the perfect chance to showcase the new Autumn Leaves bundle in the upcoming Holiday Catty. This is a 1,000,000 Achiever set by my teamie Amy Koenders - huge congrats again, Amy! Anyway, I wanted to give it a go in Wild Wheat, which I think is the perfect Autumn color, lol. I did the three different stamped leaves, one full strength, one stamped off, and one stamped off twice. I finished them all with stems and veins in Distressed Gold - just gorgeous! The dies also include some sentiment tags and banners, and few extra solid leaves. I am smitten! Autumn Leaves Stamp Set; Basic White, Wild Wheat & Distressed Gold CS; Wild Wheat Ink; Distressed Tile EF; Autumn Leaves Dies; Wild Wheat Glossy Dots; #TOC244. Hm, can I pull a triple again this month? Let's try! At Retro Rubber #195, we're having an ombre challenge! We have this lovely sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #582, and we want to see Thanksgiving at SU Only #314! This was a tough one! I finally settled on my Acorny Thank You from 2015 for the stamp set, after a search for Thanksgiving appropriate ombre paper turned up crickets, lol. So I tried my hand at making my own for the acorn background! I embossed a Vanilla panel with the Timber EF, and then got started with a blending brush and my Early Espresso ink. I think it kind of worked - need more practice! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges this week - see you there! Acorny Thank You Stamp Set (retired 2015); Very Vanilla, Early Espresso & Cajun Craze CS; Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake & Crushed Curry Inks; Timber EF; Acorn Builder Punch (retired); Bitty Banners Dies (retired); Rustic Metallic Dots; #RRCB195; #TSOT582; #SUOC314. Hope you can come visit me!With perfect timing for the day, Can You Handle the Pressure has a twist of pumpkins this round! How can I resist? I've been pulling out my old Pretty Pumpkins set a lot this year, lol, but the one element I haven't been using is the fabulous filigree pumpkin in the dies - it's over the top! Today is the day, lol, and I have THREE of these beauties over my old Chevron EF background! I went a little wild with my colors, but I do think they work pretty well! Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White, Basic Black, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Detailed Pumpkins & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); Chevron EF; Matte Black Dots; #CYHTPPumpkins. |
