Still time to roam the meadows this week at Sunday Stamps #269!
With these colors, the timing is just too perfect NOT to share a little sneaky peek with you all from our upcoming Spring Mini catalog!  As an SU! demonstrator, I had the chance to get a super advance crack at the upcoming Heart & Home suite to go along with our biggest party of the year, On Stage, coming up in just under two weeks!  The event is streamed again this year, and as a special treat for our team, we have a "watch party," with all the party trimmings and as many of the usual in-person activities as we can recreate!  This card is my first chance at playing with this suite, which I'll use to make a bundle of extra make-n-takes for our attendees!  I can't wait for you to see this suite in person - EXCELLENT sentiments!
And I'm so looking forward to seeing your ideas for these colors - meet you at the challenge!
Blessings of Home Stamp Set; Heart & Home DSP; Basic White & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive, So Saffron & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Flowers of Home & Tasteful Labels Dies; Matte Decorative Dots; #SSC269.

Oo, what a fun color combo we have to play with this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments #375!
So today's post is a "warts and all" kind of post, lol. For these colors, I wondered if I could get a cool winter sunset kind of effect with Welcoming Woods.  I tried to do a gentle wash of colors for my background with the Blending Brushes - but check out that strange swirl in the upper right corner!  It's from the strange acne that appears on my Rich Razzleberry pad (and a few others in that color family, lol) and they made concentrated little chips of color on my brush.  Kinda cool, though not intentional!  Then, in an effort to make sure my trees showed up OK, I actually over-inked my Smoky Slate pad, so there's no birch detail on the tree trunks, lol.  But they show great against the colors!  What an adventure!  I'm actually OK with the final result - some accidents CAN be happy!
Welcoming Woods Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Rich Razzleberry, Misty Moonlight & Smoky Slate Inks; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Purple Sequins; Blending & Water Brushes; #HSS375.

OK, I am LOVING all the googly eyes on Cupcake Inspiration #530's inspiration cupcakes, lol.  You can never have too many!
After turning this place upside down hunting for my little monster set (and they are STILL awol, sigh) I finally pulled out my old Jar of Haunts set.  For whatever reason, I'm all about the eyeballs today, lol, and there's this perfect image in the jar contents choices.  A little spookier than these fun cupcakes, lol, but oh well.  I forgot how fun all our jar pieces are - eek!  Quick and fun!
Jar of Haunts (retired 2016) & Jar of Love (retired 2019) Stamp Sets; Basic White, Basic Black & Gray Granite CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry & Pool Party Blends Markers; Everyday Jars Dies (retired); Seaside EF (retired); Blue Sequins; #CI530.

One Layer Leaves

Excellent - another one-layer challenge from Less is More #454 - with an "autumnal" theme!
I knew I wanted to play with my Love of Leaves bundle for this one - especially because the dies have those detail insets that just add the pretty stitch lines.!  I broke out my fave Fall colors, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry, and went to town!  I did a little bit of sponging with daubers direct-to-stamp to see if I could get some blending going - hm, mixed results, but not too terrible for the color-wash style of the stamps!  I indulged myself with a few sequins to finish, shhh...
Love of Leaves Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie & Crushed Curry Inks; Stitched Leaves Dies; Brown Sequins; Sponge Daubers; #LIM454.

Oh, super YUM!  Check out the gorgeous color challenge at this week's As You See It #261!  They're speaking my love language with that green and purple!
I did a quick browse of my sets, and kept coming back to Plentiful Plants - there are some extra detail dies in the die set that I bet I could do in silver!  I did this simple little pair of plants just how I imagined, and I finally got to use the cool hanging basket arrangement, too!  I unearthed some Glitter Enamel Dots in Granny Apple Green, too - I'm so happy with how this came out!  Such a great set!
Plentiful Plants Stamp Set; Basic White, Silver & Granny Apple Green CS; Blackberry Bliss & Granny Apple Green Inks; Perfect Plants Dies; Granny Apple Green Glitter Enamel Dots; #AYSI261.

I love our taggy columnar sketch this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #530!  It's PERFECT for our catty feature at SU Only #287 - our fave holiday item!
I knew right away I was going straight for the Sweet Little Stockings suite!  I love it all so much!  The cutest stamps, which of course have perfect dies, the gorgeous DSP, with cute critters AND fun patterns.  There's even fun little Matte Dots in assorted colors and shades!  I turned our sketch sideways and went to town!  I hoped to also sneak in a Tailor Made tag, another fave of mine, but I ended up just being able to use the tab - but still good!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects for these challenges - better get busy!
Sweet Little Stockings Stamp Set; Sweet Stockings DSP; Basic White, Old Olive, Pool Party & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Cherry Cobbler & Cinnamon Cider Blends Markers; Stockings & Tailor Made Tags Dies; Matte Decorative Dots; #TSOT530; #SUOC287.

In{k}spired Autumn

It's that time again - In{k}spire Me #460 has a lovely Fall-Halloween special this week!  Just in time!
I recently spotted the gorgeous Fall-themed sheets in the ever-so-versatile pack of the Beauty of the Earth DSP, and I really wanted to use it for today's card.  Which begged the question, why am I not using the coordinating stamp bundle, too??  So out came Beauty of Friendship, for a fun Fall run, lol.  Hopefully it's not too busy, but I had some fun doctoring up a two-tone Autumn tree, and choosing this perfect sentiment to go with.  A couple of our old copper Leaves Trinkets were the perfect finishing touch!
Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set; Beauty of the Earth DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso & Bumblebee CS; Early Espresso, Cajun Craze & Bumblebee Inks; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Leaves Trinkets; #IM460.

Yum!  Fusion has a festive "pumpkin mugs" inspiration for us this week - so fun!
I totally knew I'd be pulling out my Pretty Pumpkins bundle for this one, but how about those colors??  They actually reminded me of the gorgeous gingham sheets in that pansy pack - let's go check!  And SCORE!  The greens in the Pansy Petals are just right for this inspiration pick, and there was even a stripey pattern to let me cheat a little on the sketch, lol.  I'm totally thrilled with how these fun colors came out on the pumpkin trio, too - so glam!
Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set; Pansy Petals DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Soft Succulent, Soft Sea Foam & Smoky Slate Blends Markers; Detailed Pumpkins Dies; Genial Gems; #FusionPumpkinMug.

Birthday Seashells

Yay!  It's all about the birthday at this week's The Sisterhood of Crafters!
A set I haven't used in WAY too long that quickly caught my eye was the still-gorgeous Friends Are Like Seashells.  I even still had some Pearlescent Specialty Paper!  I finally tried both the dies AND the EF for this one, everything lines up so perfectly, it was really a breeze!  This suite could really give you a serious case of too-much-itis, it was so easy, lol.  The beautiful sentiment fit perfectly in one of our new Tailor Made Tags, and a few Opal Rounds finished us off.  Love it!
Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set; Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla & Pearlescent CS; Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Just Jade & Balmy Blue Inks; Seaside Seashells & Tailor Made Tags Dies; Seashells EF; Opal Rounds; Just Jade Cotton Ribbon; Linen Thread; #TSOCBirthday.

Oo, fun - a black-and-white challenge this month from The Male Room #155 - let's make it look sharp!
You know what's sharp in black and white?  Penguins!  And I have just the set with Penguin Place, which even has this cute "lottle" greeting that I haven't used yet.  ("It's like a little except a lot.")  I could see sending this to a young nephew of mine for his birthday!  I might have gone a little far with this little dotted DSP from the Pattern Party DSP pack - too dark?  Well, I like it anyway, lol.
