So today's post is a "warts and all" kind of post, lol. For these colors, I wondered if I could get a cool winter sunset kind of effect with Welcoming Woods. I tried to do a gentle wash of colors for my background with the Blending Brushes - but check out that strange swirl in the upper right corner! It's from the strange acne that appears on my Rich Razzleberry pad (and a few others in that color family, lol) and they made concentrated little chips of color on my brush. Kinda cool, though not intentional! Then, in an effort to make sure my trees showed up OK, I actually over-inked my Smoky Slate pad, so there's no birch detail on the tree trunks, lol. But they show great against the colors! What an adventure! I'm actually OK with the final result - some accidents CAN be happy!
