Very fun - Aloha Friday Challenge #11 wants to see something masculine! I decided to pull out my Legendary Ride set - I so love it, lol. I also still have quite a bit of the equally awesome Ready to Ride DSP, and I really wanted to feature it! I landed on this cool sheet of riders' gear that I don't think I've used before. I made a quick background, then fussy cut a jacket to pop up. I couldn't resist this sentiment to go with - just seems to fit with all the leather, lol. I did stamp a simple Happy Birthday inside, too... This ended up being a real quick card! Legendary Ride Stamp Set; Ready to Ride DSP (retired); Very Vanilla & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pretty Pillowbox Dies; Matte Black Dots; #AFC11.

Time for Critter Crazy Challenge #87 - what shall we pick?? I decided to look over the shelves of retirement, and came across 2021's Snailed It set - can't even REMEMBER the last time I used it, lol. I still have lots of the coordinating DSP, too - it's a little embarrassing just how much, lol. Anyway, I put together my "quick" snail hello (see what I did there??) I did a panel of this mail-focused background sheet over some Bermuda Bay, then did this little mail carrier chugging by - so cute! I also decided that the Hearts & Flowers embellies go great with these colors, too - just the right touch of bling! Snailed It Stamp Set (retired 2021); Snail Mail DSP (retired); Basic White, Pool Party & Bermuda Bay (retired) CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Real Red Ink; Pool Party & Real Red Blends Markers; Snail (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; Hearts & Flowers Embellishments; #CCC87. So glad to have a new chance to play at NBUS #63 - I always have quite the stack of new toys to play with! I dug really deep this time, and pulled out a set of Tim Holtz dies I got on Amazon about 6 years ago, I think, lol. I somehow spotted them, and being from Arizona, HAD to have them! This set is called Funky Cactus, and it sure IS funky, lol. This is the only Tim Holtz set I have, so playing with all the dimension and layers was VERY new for me, lol. So many choices, and I even left one cactus off! Even the POTS are all two layers, lol. Anyway, I had me a paper-fest today, and matched it with a sentiment from our Flowering Cactus set from 2021. I LOVE how it came out! I can see myself keeping an eye out for more fun dies from him, lol... Flowering Cactus Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Peach Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lolly, Copper Clay, Cajun Craze & Pecan Pie C; Memento Tuxedo Black, Lemon Lime Twist & Daffodil Delight Inks; Tim Holtz Funky Cactus Dies; Green Shiny Sequins; #NBUS63. Another fun one from Shopping Our Stash #524 - "button, button, who's got the button!" It just so happens that I recently unburied all my old button collections we used to have at SU! - shocking how many I still have, lol. In my brights collection, I had almost all the Melon Mambo ones, in three sizes! I thought right away of how well this would go with our gorgeous Flowering Zinnias DSP, and quickly came up with this simple layout! I layered a panel of the brightest floral sheet over Melon Mambo, and then crossed it with this happy, and long, sentiment - it really pops! After adding some White Baker's Twine ties, I added one each of the three sizes of buttons. Fast and simple - yay! Simply Zinnia Stamp Set; Flowering Zinnias DSP; Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Melon Mambo Ink; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Melon Mambo Buttons (retired); White Baker's Twine; #SOS524. If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #193 has the cutest "you are my sunshine" theme this month! So, I really cobbled together a LOT of little things to get this card, lol. I started by scrounging around for some sunny papers, AND some clouds! My main background is from my old SAB pack of Sunshine & Rainbows from a couple years ago, and I snagged a couple gray clouds from the just-past SAB Sunny Days pack. So lucky I had all this sunny paper! Next I went through some old Paper Pumpkin sets - we've had a couple sunny themes there, too! I can across my favorite tribal-looking sun from the June 2020 Box of Sunshine kit, and this sentiment is from July 2023's Fun in the Sun kit. It's like they were all made for each other, though, lol. I finished with a few Shiny Sequins for sparkle! Box of Sunshine (June 2020) & Fun in the Sun (July 2023) Paper Pumpkins; Sunshine & Rainbows and Sunny Days DSP; Basic White, Basic Gray & Crushed Curry CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Yellow Shiny Sequins; #Cookie193. We have a glorious beachy inspiration board for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #441! Yay! I knew I wanted to play again with our latest seashell set, Seaside Wishes - I love that hybrid emboss! I did a full sand dollar background in Basic Beige this time, and inked up the EF a little before running through for a little extra depth! I added a little bit of my dreamy Pool Party Sheer Ribbon - almost out of it, lol, and some pops of Calypso Coral with my starfish. I decided to heat emboss my sentiment onto Early Espresso, too, since we're all about the pop today, lol. A few Whale of a Time sequins are the perfect finishing touch! I can't wait to see YOUR take on our sunny mood board! Meet you at the challenge! Seaside Wishes Stamp Set; Basic White, Early Espresso & Basic Beige CS; Basic Beige, Calypso Coral & Versamark Inks; White EP; Seaside Wishes Hybrid EF & Dies; Pool Party Sheer Ribbon; Whale of a Time Sequins (retired); #HSS441. Cool - Inspire Create Challenge #170 has a fun layered sketch for us this round - I like it! I decided to play with the Adventurous Sky bundle for this fun sketch - such fabulous DSP in this one! Today I focused on the smaller planes - a little squadron! I added a few extra clouds, and did this happy "flying by..." sentiment. These planes look awesome in the Mossy Meadow, too! Somehow, I can't resist smudging them up with my Blender Pen no matter WHAT color they are, either, lol! Adventurous Sky Stamp Set; Take to the Sky DSP; Basic White & Copper Clay CS; Mossy Meadow & Smoky Slate Inks; Adventurous Sky Dies; Opaque Faceted Dots; #ICC170. Pumpkin Club June 29 at 2 PM! We sure have a bullseye of a sketch for you this round at Sunday Stamps #338! I'm so excited to play my new Musical Jamboree set for today's sketch - I was so smitten! Being from Arizona, this banjo plucking coyote really grabbed me, lol. Love him! In the spirit of the Southwest, I floated him over this awesome saguaro panel from our old Flowering Cactus collection - I have hoarded this stuff for quite some time just waiting for this moment! I even saved the coordinating retired colored cardstock - I have it BAD, folks, lol. I can't wait to see your awesome projects with our front-and-center sketch - meet you at the challenge! Musical Jamboree Stamp Set; Flowering Cactus DSP; Basic White, Mint Macaron (retired), Pear Pizzazz (retired) & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate & Cherry Cobbler Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Timber EF; Crumb Cake Enamel Dots; #SSC338. Such a fun blue combo over at In{k}spire Me #536 this week - cool grid layout, too! I tried to sneak in both sides of this challenge equation, AND keep it a regular greeting card shape - hope it works, lol. I honored the grid layout with the upcoming Iconic Imagery set - coming your way soon as our latest release of Online Exclusives! I thought this snowflake would be just the right size, frankly, lol. I built this basic Merry Christmas with our also upcoming Greetings of the Season - which has SO much more you can do, AND fabulous new tag dies (which I naturally didn't use today, lol.) For my extra color, I added Smoky Slate, for a sort of silvery effect - I think it goes SO well with these blues! Iconic Imagery & Greetings of the Season Stamp Sets; Night of Navy DSP (retired); Basic White CS; Night of Navy, Balmy Blue & Smoky Slate Inks; Iconic Imagery Dies; Smoky Slate Pearls; #IMC536. We have a gorgeous focal sketch for you at As You See It #326 this round! And I spy my favorite "any shape" words!! I decided to finally break into a new upcoming suite called Winterly Tree Tops - so many fun elements in this one, and I managed to get a little bit of everything! This suite was offered as a super-early release for a online demo event tomorrow called Creativity Now, and I can't wait to see what the demos do with this beauty! It has some gorgeous bird stamps and dies, amazing DSP, a Birch Wood EF, some twine, AND some Shimmer Gems - whew! I went all out! I was especially pleased to discover that a few of the DSP sheets also fit the dies - LOVE when that happens! I floated these lovely birches over an embossed Pebbled Path background, then diecut this sweet birdy pair. Love this sentiment, too - it was just right! Some twine and gems finish things off! I can't wait to see where our wide-open sketch takes YOUR projects - meet you at the challenge! Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set; Nests of Winter DSP; Basic White & Pebbled Path CS; Pebbled Path Ink; Winterly Tree Tops Dies; Garden Green Linen Thread; Garden Green Shimmer Gems; #AYSI326.
