Bold, simple, right up front! LOVE this week's Freshly Made Sketch #221!
This card is inspired by a lovely little boxed card set that the Stampin' Up! Mother Ship sent out to us demos for the Botanical Gardens suite. I had a good time making the cute little collection, which you can see here! For my own rendition, I wanted to add more green, and I decided to pull out my CRAFT Old Olive pad (gasp!) and emboss me up a big green sentiment, lol. Yes, I confess, I had to re-ink quite a bit, but I think this whole stamping-on-DSP-thing is growing on me...
I stamped the "...on your special day" on the inside - inside sentiments are growing on me, too!

Uh oh, this week's Merry Monday #189 is going to be a tough one for me - "one layer!"
After stewing for a while, I figured the only way I could get through one layer would be if I could color my brains out, lol, bonus points for the aqua-painter. And you just can't beat the coloring opportunities of Gentle Peace! Even so, I kept having to stop myself from adding dimension, too. And since I was trying to be good, I also decided to forgo bling or sparkles or ANYTHING. This card is practically NAKED!
I love it, though. Be filled, my friends, with the peace that passes all understanding. Always.

Such a cute sketch at Can You Case It #104 this week - love that circular layer!
When I started to put this one together, I went to my (smaller) stack of new toys to play with again. I am fascinated by the Sunburst Sayings suite, and all the possibilities in arranging those "rays"! Sunny days are HERE!
I decided to also play with my SAB Botanical Gardens vellum stack, something I'm usually a little shy of. How to adhere it down? Argh! I know that one day I'll get that little "paper only" sewing machine (check my Amazon wish list, homies! Birthday in May!) but in the meantime, I have to try strategic gluing, lol. Today, I used a few glue dots here and there, and then placed the rhinestones on top - perfect! Totally doing this trick again...

I love all the layered elements of this sketch at SU-per Challenge #122! Time to play!
OK, I know there's just been a big blizzard and all, but here in Arizona, I'm putting the garden in already, lol. Sorry, gang. That really made me want to play with some pretty flowers, and our lovely Helping Me Grow set was just the ticket! I still had some stems I hadn't played with yet, and, I could bring in my awesome Wildflower Fields SAB paper that has my fave colors in it! Win-win all 'round! I tried really hard to stick to the shapes, but I had a little fussy-cut itch to scratch today, too - don't you hate it when that happens?

Aww, here we already are on week 4 of MPC-0116 - A Full Year of Fun! What a fun kit this has been for me - I feel so ready for the next couple of months!
For this week, I really wanted to use those two "meadow scene" panels that came with the kit - so soft and pretty, AND I have so many of the die-cut flowers left to play with that need a field to grow in! I was so pleased to use a few of my remaining fancy pieces on some special congrats cards, which I know I've been hitting hard lately. Deal is, my stampin' team, the Saguaro Stampers, has been ROCKING it lately! I love to send them all little notes letting them know I notice their hard work - they so deserve it! You so inspire me, ladies! Love you!

Love this "window" sketch from Match the Sketch #108! I'm excited to pull out my toys for this one! I'm combining it with this week's LOVE theme over at TGIF #39, too!
I ended up going in a totally different direction than I thought I would on this one. I of course immediately thought of our wonderful Hearth & Home Framelit set, but I wasn't "loving" the ideas I had for the theme with that one. I kept coming back to our hostess set Love You Sew, but the sentiment I wanted to use was NOT the right shape. After grousing for a bit, I decided to go for broke, and stamp-a-ma-jig the heck out of it, lol. Worked like a charm! I went with a color scheme I found in the mini catty, too - that'll have to do me until we can get a new color coach!

So many possibilities with this fun sketch from Just Add Ink #295! I'm combining it with the rich color challenge at Create With Connie & Mary #390, too!
As I type this, I just realized I must have sublimated the stars in the sketch, since I went so "star" crazy in my final version, lol... In thinking over the sketch, I decided I wanted to use letters for the shapes, but I needed to figure out how to handle a three color challenge, too! To be honest, I added on the star theme when I realized the cute heart shape in Epic Alphabet wouldn't fit where I wanted to use it! It all snow-balled from there! See how my mind works?

What a fun challenge from Stamps Ink Paper #31 this week - birthday! I think I'll add in this fun sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #220!
When looking for little elements that I could fit into teh sketch layout, I landed on Six-Sided Sampler, and then realized that I also had Honeycomb Happiness, too! What?! That's right, never inked it before today, shhh... Anyway, GOODNESS how I fiddled and tweaked on this one! In the end, I'm just going to stop now, but I think I have more fiddling and tweaking in me - ack! It was really hard for me to get this together, sigh...

This week's Merry Monday #188 is super cute - hot "bevvies!" So perfect! I'm combining it with the cute square sketch over at In{k}spire Me #233.
So, yes, the day I made this card, I had a nice big box of new toys from my Mother Ship to dive into, so yes, I pretty much pulled them ALL out for this card, lol. I know, it's totally crazy. I could feel it happening, and I just couldn't stop - I was powerless. Sorry about that.
But who wouldn't love a cup of hot chocolate in a fancy Christmas cup like this? With a cute peppermint stirrer? And a doily? And swirlies? Uh huh, that's what I thought. I'm not all by myself out on the fringe here, I feel you! Lol.

Look at the elegant drape on this sketch from Sunday Stamps #118! It seems a natural fit with Can You Case It #103's black and white elegance challenge!
To really drive the black and white theme, I dug out my retired Stacked With Love DSP stack - this was such a fun pack of paper! And since I had "happy" on the brain, Hello Life seemed a natural go-to, as well! Kiss-kiss, stampers!
