I just couldn't WAIT to ink up Friendly Seagulls - coming soon to Sale-a-Bration starting January 7! Aren't these guys a riot?? I'm also featuring an SAB Designer Series Paper, too - this is a pretty non-conforming sheet of the Toadstool Gardens DSP pack - and it's going to go great with a new Toadstool set coming up, too!  Such lovely Fall colors for us at Cupcake Inspiration #607! I couldn't help thinking of our yummy More Than Autumn set for this one, but how to include the Crushed Curry? Why, Eggnog Doughnuts, of course! Are they really a thing? You better believe it! I've been through a few paleo doughnut recipes, and including eggnog is just the way to go! Once I got my first doughnut pan, I knew I needed another one FAST, and it's been a blast ever since! The best have eggnog in the batter, AND in the glaze! Super yum! They're even in the bakeries, lol, though those are fried, I think. Even better, lol... I got this little bag forever ago, I think from Amazon, and they're little springs that make whatever you pop up with them wiggle around! It's kinda hilarious, lol. Anyway, I decided this sweet Bassett Hound wanted a wobble, lol. It looks like it's hugely popped up, but they totally flatten out! I popped this guy over some more plaid (I am SO on a plaid kick this week, lol) that he walked all over - see his prints?? This was really a fun one - I have to think what else I can use these springs on! I was thrilled to pull out my Merry Cafe set and do up this pretty fall cuppa - love this sentiment so much, too! The Coffee Cup Dies make it all so easy, lol. Anyway, I put together this beautiful Autumnal background for it all with the All About Autumn DSP, and chose a sweet coordinating plaid from Plaid Tidings for the cup. A few Pumpkin Pie Faux Glass Dots adds some final detail! I can smell the latte in the air! I started by setting up a Take to the Sky DSP background, and then did up a trio of planes in Night of Navy, Boho Blue & Pumpkin Pie - it's an airshow! I stuck in some strategic clouds to make up more elements of the sketch - I might be a little obscure today, lol. I did finish with a few Smoky Slate Pearls, too - I might be throwing in everything I have in the right colors, lol. I knew right away I was totally pulling out my old Acorny Thank You set for this one - all the way from 2015, and I STILL get a kick out of punching mix and match acorns with it, lol. I went for some Fall-ish colors this time, and pulled in this pretty background from our retired Plaid Tidings DSP - such a perfect variety of colors and plaids! Then I went to town on my acorns, first stamping a mix of the nuts, then going back and adding hats to them all, lol. I finally settled on the big sentiment acorn to finish - sometimes that's all you need to say! I can't wait to see YOUR acorns or seeds - meet you at the challenge! Next up I stamped this adorable reader from last year's In The Moment, with a snuggly dog, and added just a touch of color - especially to the Socks! I kind of feel like I nailed the Kindness AND the Be Yourself items, too, but I'll let greater minds decide on that, lol. Just to be safe I finished with a few Sequins anyway, lol. I'm really pleased with how this one came out - I had almost forgotten about this stamp set! I love the dies for it, too - like the pretty honeycomb pieces I slipped behind the skep! I floated my buzzing scene over my favorite piece of woodgrain from the Country Woods DSP pack, and added the sentiment above - I'm loving how this came out! I did my colors in Wild Wheat - just right for these guys, though I couldn't resist a few Brushed Gold Dots to finish things off! Life is sweet! I started by hunting out what sentiment I wanted - would it be a set I could do the whole card in? Fortunately, I found just the thing in my Thoughtful Wishes bundle - I even love this little variation on the sentiment! I chose this leafy stem, so I could color in the leaves in two different warm colors, then added a Gold Foil sprig behind onto my Crumb Cake tag - check, check, check! How about a Cherry Cobbler Woodgrain background for everything? Check! A few Brushed Gold Dots look like amber against that Cherry!
