Class was so fun last week - I so enjoy having folks over for some "us" time. I just wanted to post the card instructions before I forget - have to design for our next class, too! Cheers!

I've been working away this weekend on our April 20 class - I'm pretty pleased with what I've come up with! Here's a little sneak peek of one card using the Inspired By Nature stamp set - I use the grass side of this double-mount stamp a lot, but the daisies are pretty awesome, too! I really can't wait for class - I have 4 great "flower" cards to share! Make sure you RSVP! There's an exciting new offer out right now from Stampin' Up! called Spring is Blossoming, and it's fabulous! For the month of April only, with any purchase of $20 or more, you can pre-order the new Paisley Petals DSP and the Four Frames stamp set, that coordinates with the Decorative Label punch. Then these items disappear until the release of the 2011-2012 catalog, in July. You can view more info about the deal here, and I've made a few sample cards for you to look over at our next class on April 21 - so fun! What's left of my paper pack will be there for you to look over, and I also purchased the clear mount version of the stamp set for you to see... Paisley Petals DSP, Four Frames stamp set. Used with Old Olive, River Rock, Riding Hood Red and Marina Mist CS, and the Little Leaves sizzlet and the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder for the Big Shot. Vintage Brads and Perfect Pearls, too. Can't believe another anniversary has rolled around for me and hubby - time sure flies! I CAS-ed this "love" card from Oopsa-Daisy-Designs, and liked it so much, I decided to do a "hell-o" version for my Duet friend! I love having someone to send cards to every week! Anyway, love love LOVE this Love Letters DSP, it's amazingly versatile - I think the Very Vanilla, Basic Black and Riding Hood Red are so dramatic... AND, I used my Billboard Strip for the Big Shot that came with the starter set for that for like the second time EVER! Maybe I'll try some other alphabets eventually! I might still change out the h-e-l-l letters on the second card for stamped Broadsheet letters that I cut out. Can't decide... |
