I decided to do a little schoolhouse scene with my old Treehouse Adventure stamp set - didn't everyone have a tire swing at their school? I sure did - and an old dune buggy on blocks that we could pretend to drive, that my Dad donated! It was so fun, best playground ever, lol. I even snuck in a little flag action, too, lol. This was a a fun sketch to combine with this theme, lol. I can't wait to check out YOUR projects - I'll meet you over at the challenges!  Look at those cute little buttons peeking out in Retro Sketch #178! I'm not sure why exactly, but those buttons make me want to pair this sketch with Can You Case It's #83 Back To School Theme challenge. What a great chance to break out the yummy Schoolhouse DSP! I can't resist pairing it with an encouraging little setup from Barnyard Babies, too, lol. I've been wanting to use that goat's "Meeeh..." since I first saw this set! Sigh, I MISS elementary school days...  Pumpkin Club August 29!

Bug has turned into SUCH a trekker, I figured, how perfect is this?? I made it blue for Spock, whom she LOVES, even though it's a Next Generation uniform... Did I mention she's learning the theme for Deep Space Nine on piano? Snicker. I can't wait to see her face when she opens this!

I realized that they would make a great apple shape, too, to go along with our Back to School decor, so that's what I made for our class gift for tonight! They really did come out cute, and I can't pass up a chance to play with new toys ever!

These were quick and fun - I miss elementary school - middle schoolers are so grouchy! And a bit smellier!
