Time to fly our flags at this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #518! This is perfect for our "school days" challenge at SU Only #281, too! I decided to do a little schoolhouse scene with my old Treehouse Adventure stamp set - didn't everyone have a tire swing at their school? I sure did - and an old dune buggy on blocks that we could pretend to drive, that my Dad donated! It was so fun, best playground ever, lol. I even snuck in a little flag action, too, lol. This was a a fun sketch to combine with this theme, lol. I can't wait to check out YOUR projects - I'll meet you over at the challenges! Treehouse Adventure Stamp Set (retired 2019); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red, Granny Apple Green & Sahara Sand Inks; Pool Party Blends Marker; Stitched Shapes Dies (retired); Red Stitched Ribbon; #TSOT518; #SUOC281.

Look at those cute little buttons peeking out in Retro Sketch #178! I'm not sure why exactly, but those buttons make me want to pair this sketch with Can You Case It's #83 Back To School Theme challenge. What a great chance to break out the yummy Schoolhouse DSP! I can't resist pairing it with an encouraging little setup from Barnyard Babies, too, lol. I've been wanting to use that goat's "Meeeh..." since I first saw this set! Sigh, I MISS elementary school days... Barnyard Babies Stamp Set; Schoolhouse DSP; Heavy & Regular Whisper White, and Basic Gray CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate & Pacific Point Inks; Finishing Touchers Edgelit (retired); Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon (retired); Subtles Buttons in Pool Party; Brights Sequins in Pacific Point; Banner Punch. I HAD to make this card for bug for Valentine's, after I saw this HILARIOUS video at You Tube by a couple of the geeks, I mean, GUYS, at SU! Bug has turned into SUCH a trekker, I figured, how perfect is this?? I made it blue for Spock, whom she LOVES, even though it's a Next Generation uniform... Did I mention she's learning the theme for Deep Space Nine on piano? Snicker. I can't wait to see her face when she opens this! Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White (inside) & Pacific Point CS; Silver & Gold glimmer papers; Small Heart, Large & Small Oval punches, self-adhesive rhinestones. Remember the Boo Pumpkins? I realized that they would make a great apple shape, too, to go along with our Back to School decor, so that's what I made for our class gift for tonight! They really did come out cute, and I can't pass up a chance to play with new toys ever! Here are tonight's class instructions, as well - enjoy! Wonderfall & Itty Bitty Banners stamp set; Riding Hood Red & Wild Wasabi CS; Always Artichoke ink; Mini Milk Carton die; Bitty Banners framelits; Woodgrain embossing folder; Always Artichoke seam binding ribbon. Now that school starts this week, it's been time to bring out the decor to celebrate! Hee hee, actually, we made a cute shadow box insert in our last class which I have out now, but it looks so lonely, I decided to make a few cards to complete my foyer table! These were quick and fun - I miss elementary school - middle schoolers are so grouchy! And a bit smellier! Perfectly Preserved & Teacher's Pet (retired) stamps sets; Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight & Riding Hood Red CS; Silver Shimmer Specialty CS; Storytime DSP; Timeless Junior Alphabet dies; Stripes embossing folder; Cannery framelits; Daffodil Delight stitched grosgrain ribbon.
