 Another fun challenge from CAS on Friday #164 - animals! A set I haven't used much is our new hostess set, Time For Tags - we have an awesome punch for all the tag shapes included in this set! I even had my choice of animals - there's a little "for you" birdie, too, lol. Anyway, this giraffe (well, AND the pineapple, lol) are the whole reason I got this set, and, as is typical of me, I haven't used either one yet, sigh. But today is the day! I kep it pretty CAS - naked card base, a simple popped-up tag, and well, I decided to add a little bunting with our Scalloped Linen Trim - love this Purple Posy color - I'm hearing rumors that the stamp pad will be here soon!  We have a fun inspiration pic and a cute sketch this week at Fusion - "Coffee!" I couldn't resist doing another Halloween card this week - I've been eyeing my retired Merry Cafe set all week, lol. Must be all the Pumpkin Spice Latte in the air these days, I guess, lol. Anyway, I did a little update by using this year's Monster Bash DSP, and a few of our Monster Bash Enamel Shapes - love it! I even snuck in a tiny little skull from the Monster Bash stamp set for the stopper! Yum! OK, time to go huff my new Pumpkin Vanilla candle from Trader Joe's - gotta get my fix somehow! And looky what I found - True Gentleman Buttons - perfect! I think I'm feeling very polka dotty this week, so I kept it focused on little circles, in hopefully manly colors. Too fun! This seemed like just the chance to finally ink up the gorgeous Bloom & Grow set that's been cooling off on my desk for a couple months now. I've been so distracted by the holiday catty, lol, but I am delighted with this set! I've been taking a strong stand on flower sets this year, as I've mentioned before, and this set checks all the boxes to make the cut: gorgeous images, check. I've been all about Christmas so much lately, I decided to go with some soft pastels for my first take on it, and also kept it fairly simple. I LOVE this week's sketch at In{k}spire Me #401 - it almost looks like it could take flight, doesn't it?? Instead I decided this was finally just the sketch to debut my delightful Merry Moose set - eee! He comes with a few trees - I stamped and stamped off a couple for his little woodland scene, and he even has a little forest buddy (who apparently does NOT get a wardrobe, lol.) I dressed my big guy up in his snazzy scarf, and added his signature sentiment, of course, although this set has four other great ones to go with as well! Too fun - and can you tell that the Let It Snow DSP is my fave this year? Can't get enough of the sparkle, lol.
