Birthdays Galore 2019 Jan 10 & 12!
I'm so excited to kick off our new Spring Occasions catalog with our annual Birthday Cards class! We have so many fun new sets to play with! This class will feature SIX cards and envelopes, all using stamps from our new Spring Mini and Sale-A-Bration catties! There were just too many to choose from! Come get a good start on having your birthday cards ready for the year! All supplies provided, just bring your own snips and fave adhesive! Class will be $25, and includes, drinks, snacks and a special gift from me! This class can also be FREE with your order of $30 or more! Check out this super cute sketch from Case This Sketch #302 - love this layering! Perfect for closing out 2018!
A sketch like this is just crying out to show off some gorgeous paper, and this vibrant Sale-A-Bration DSP that coordinates with several new butterfly sets coming in the Spring Mini (3 more days!!) does NOT disappoint! I chose a soft botanical sheet for my columns, and fussy cut a few fancy butterflies from another sheet - just beautiful. My sentiment is from another SAB goodie, the lovely Part of My Story set, 6 different modern and moving sayings to share with our loved ones, and even new friends. LOVE how this card came out, but still so simple. Happy New Year, everyone - here's to a year of love and creativity for us all!

Check out our wintry cardinal in this week's Sunday Stamps #195 color challenge! Isn't she gorgeous??
Today I let the colors speak to me through another new stamp set I'm super excited about - Vibrant Vases! I love it when we get to play with stamp sets made to go with framelits or punches we already have, as this one does - yippee! This new vase set has new vases AND flowers for us to arrange, along with some lovely new sentiments as well - just right for saying SO much.

So glad I get to get in on Just Add Ink #438 - their last challenge of the year! The challenge is for a gift box - yay!
The timing of this was perfect - I needed something quick and little for the neighbor kids, who came by to sing for us last night - these girls are so cute! I think one of them has a little crush on hubby, too, shhh... Anyway, I was able to whip up a mini milk carton for each of them (and Mom & Dad, lol) and fill it with Rolo's - a quick little treat to keep the holiday spirit going! I had just been going through my old dies and found this one - an oldie but goodie! I even still have the stamp set that goes with, Got Treats! Thanks for the carols, girls!

Love this cute sketch from Paper Craft Crew #319 - they are rocking one last holiday hurrah!
So glad I get a chance to sneak yet another set that didn't get enough holiday love from me - Cookie Cutter Christmas! I think my fave image in this one is the adorable reindeer, that I always color up like Rudolph, lol. Today I stamped him on Crumb Cake, colored in his nose with my Blends marker, and made his antlers be all sparkly! Such a fun sketch!

So Hoppy Together

Check out these fun layers at this week's Freshly Made Sketch #368! So playful!
It looked so playful, in fact, that I decided it was the perfect layout for one of our upcoming Sale-A-Bration sets, So Hoppy Together! And yes, you guessed it, this set is all about frogs, lol. There are three of them, and they have all kinds of toys to go with, too! The one on my card today is actually riding a unicycle, but I snipped him out because I thought he was kind of hopping along fine without it, lol. Gosh, these images remind me so much of the old Mr. Toad illustrations - eek!

Nine Lives

Sometimes I actually DON'T want an "anything goes" challenge - I SO need structure, lol, but this week's SU Only #213 anything goes challenge is perfectly timed to sneak in some more new goodies!
Today's lucky winner is Nine Lives - a sweet little cat set that coordinates with our already released Cat punch. I have to confess, I never got the original cat bundle - it was more Halloween-themed, and I wasn't sure how much I would use it. But THIS set - yeah, baby! I love that you can dress your kitty up or down, and he comes with toys and treats to play with, too! So fun! Today I made a stripey boy, in memory of my handsome Adso, who we had to let go a couple of weeks ago. Mr. Fabulous was 17, and he WAS the cat's meow - we miss him!

I'm so happy to see that CAS on Friday #148 has another round of Christmas for us this week - jingle, jingle!
I was happy to have a chance to use my gorgeous Hearts Come Home set - I don't think I've gotten to ink it up at all this year - perfect timing! I tried very hard to keep it as clean and simple as possible, though I did snip out my little houses so I could play with their arrangements a bit, lol. Merry Christmas to all - many blessings!

Birthday Cheer

It's time to party with Inspire Create Challenge #33's Party theme!
It seemed to me like our new Birthday Cheer bundle, from the upcoming Spring Occasions Catty, was PERFECT for this theme! The bundle includes a sa-weet set of edgelits to go with - I've shown the cupcakes today! I kept this card bright and simple - and I love this combo of Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana and Mango Melody! The cupcakes were super easy: I ran a strip of black though with the edgelit, glued it down over my white background, and then colored in the spaces with my Stampin' Write markers - so quick!

Winter Farmhouse

The Sisterhood of Crafters has a fun year-end theme for us this round - create a Winter scene! Perfect!
This seems like a great chance to ink up our wonderful Farmhouse Christmas set once more before the big day, lol. This set has so many great elements along with the framelits - I think I get a little touch of over-embellish-itis every time I use it, lol. I tried to spread my images out a little bit more - hopefully t doesn't look TOO crowded, but you know, snowy streets are extra narrow!
