 Another fun sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #238 this week! I'm excited to pair it with this week's rich color challenge from In{k}spire Me #251! You know what I haven't played with in a while? My Watercolor Wings! That gives me a bit of scope for these colors, I think, and I'll add a couple botanical builder shapes, too! I had a bit of a time clustering my little elements in the corner like this, but still, not too shabby!  I like this fun sketch from Match the Sketch #126! I want to combine it with the masculine CAS theme over at Watercooler Wednesday #69, too! For going all manly, I knew I had to pull out Guy Greetings, and I LOVE mixing that one with the now retired Adventure Bound DSP stack - so many cool prints in there! After that, it was all a matter of picking out patterns and textures, and mixing and matching for the right combo with the stamps! I started with the hats, but wound up on the shoes, so of course, I have the "no one else could fill your shoes" sentiment on the inside, too, (with the strong dude!)  OK, LOVE the gorgeous tropical colors at Sunday Stamps #127! This one will be awesome to go with Stamp Ink Paper #49's flower theme! For this card, I decided to trot out one of my fave techniques for my old Blendabilities - yes, I have hoarded mine all this time, and I still love them! With them still unavailable, I tend not to use them as much, but they still have honored desk space, lol. Anyway, I love to use them to "paint" white heat embossing, on black - it SO makes those colors pop! I'm really happy with how this one came out - and I think I need to put Hawaii on the calendar!  This week's theme at Merry Monday #206 is "nativity" - awesome! And I have a nativity in mind that I think will be perfect for this sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #272 - woot! I'm excited to bring this stamp out for some daylight - this is Wonderful Blessing, a holiday single stamp from a few years back! I've always thought it shows and says everything a Christmas stamp should, lol. I've tried to update it just a bit by trying it in our new Dapper Denim, and adding some sparkly silver bits, too. (Sorry, TSoT, totally NOT playing along with the optional summer fun theme, lol!) So, as you can see from the choices I've made here, my fascination with the Swirly Scribbles dies continues! I can't quite make up my mind if it's a bit too much of a good thing here, lol, but I sure jammed all three of these challenges in! Do or die!
