Who knew?? We're celebrating National Teddy Bear Day at Make My Monday #234! While I have LOTS of bear images, I don't actually have many TEDDY bears, lol. I do have one that is my favorite, though, this little cutie from 2011's Baby Bundle set - he (or she!) is still the sweetest! I did a sweet little CAS number today, with three tumbling teddies, and a bit of twine - I couldn't resist making them different colors, too, lol. A few Crumb Cake Enamel Dots finishes things off! I can't wait to see YOUR teddies in action - meet you at the challenge! Baby Bundle Stamp Set (retired 2011); Crumb Cake DSP (retired, on envelope); Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; 1" Circle Punch; Linen Thread; Crumb Cake Enamel Dots; #234. So excited that I can squeak in to this round of Farm Quest Challenge #51! The theme is laundry or ironing, lol! I'm not much of an ironer, lol, but I remember fondly those times in my life I hung out laundry - what a way to do sheets! Really great for collared shirts, too, once you learn a couple tricks! Anyway, I thought right away of this one, even though stuff on hangers is cheating! These cute onesies are from my old jumbo wheel, Baby Tees, from 2010 - still adorable! These cuties spoiled me for almost all other onesies SU! has ever produced, lol. After a couple experiments on inking it up, I was rolling away (thank goodness I don't have to show a pic of my hands after this, it's embarrassing, lol! I might have made a bit of a mess!) Anyway, I had fun coloring these up, and floated them over this pink cloudy sky - breezy day for laundry! Baby Tees Jumbo Wheel (retired 2010) and Cuddles & Kisses Stamp Set (retired 2013); Lighter Than Air DSP; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight & Fresh Freesia Blends Markers; Pretty Pillowbox Dies; Linen Thread; Petal Pink Foiled Gems; #FQCB51. Such a cute name for Shopping Our Stash #519's theme this week - "shower me with sunshine" - for a wedding OR a baby shower! I decided to go for a BABY shower, so I could pull out my still super-cute Baby Bundle set from 2011 - love this cutie! It even has a shower sentiment in it! I pulled some gender neutral colors to play with by floating some Soft Sea Foam over Basic Beige, with Lemon Lolly accents - such a fun combo. I can tell SO many colors are going to look great with Basic Beige! I stamped up a few shower elements, including this adorable buggy, lol, colored up, and got to work fussy cutting everything - good times! Still my favorite baby set! Baby Bundle Stamp Set (retired 2011); Soft Sea Foam DSP; Basic White & Basic Beige CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Soft Sea Foam, Lemon Lolly & SU700 Blends Markers; Tasteful Labels Dies (retired); Lemon Lolly Solid Gems; #SOS519. This could be cool - AAA Cards #246 would like us to get "all lined up" in a sketch challenge this round! Since AAA has an optional "baby" theme going for this one as well, I pulled my all-time favorite baby set, 2011's Baby Bundle! So many cute little baby baubles in this one, and all in a delicate line-art style that begs to be colored, lol. I chose some tiny baby accessories to run down my left edge, and added the sentiment to the right. I couldn't resist a single strand of Linen Thread, and these 3 tiny solid gems - I think they might be Crisp Cantaloupe, but they seemed to match my Light Calypso Coral blend so I ran with them, lol. Such a sweet card, this will be great to have on hand! Baby Bundle Stamp Set (retired 2011); Basic White & Soft Sea Foam CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Soft Sea Foam, Bubble Bath, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly, Calypso Coral & Fresh Freesia Blends Markers; Linen Thread; Faceted Dots (retired); #AAA246. This should be fun - Can You Handle the Pressure has a "baby" twist for this round, I don't make too many of those! I decided to pull out my Wildly Happy set from 2021, that shows the various baby animals with their moms (or dads, could be, lol.) I don't think I've done the elephant pair before, and I wanted it to be super simple, so I could feature the embossing. I decided to use one of our new Basics Trio folders, and I have decided to start calling this one the elephant folder, lol, because the DE-boss side looks JUST like an elephant hide! So cool! I colored these cuties with my blends, and then ended up coloring my tiny sentiment, too, for a tiny pop of color. After I added those Pebble Enamel Shapes, it was just all gray, all the way, and I needed to break it up! Wildly Happy Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White, Basic Black & Gray Granite CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Gray Granite & Pool Party Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Basics 2 EF; Gray Baker's Twine; Pebbles Enamel Shapes (retired); #CYHTPBaby. Very cool - what a great day to celebrate at Festive Friday #130 - International Children's Book Day! It was rough to realize I didn't have much in the way of BOOKS for this one, sigh. But I pulled some things I'm really happy with from the list - bright colors, alphabet letters, patterned paper and square! I tried to make it look a little like kids alphabet blocks, with a congratulatory "parents" sentiment below! I let my brights theme carry through, too, and added the last missing color to my envelope - very cheery! Happy Labels Stamp Set; Brights DSP in Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay & Gorgeous Grape; Basic White & Daffodil Delight CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Stylish Shapes & Alphabet A La Mode Dies; Happy Labels Pick a Punch; #FF0130. Super cute theme this round at Cardz 4 Guyz #306 - teddy bears! I have several BEARS in my stamps, but turns out I only have ONE actual teddy bear, lol. I pulled this cutie out of my old Baby Bundle set from 2011 - still my fave baby set! I kept this card super simple, with a pretty Pool Party Timber background, and a cute baby shower tag on top. I really love the look of this! Hopefully I get invited to a baby shower soon, lol... Baby Bundle Stamp Set (retired 2011); Basic White, Crumb Cake & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake & Pool Party Blends Markers; Timber EF; Tailor Made Tags Dies; Pool Party Baker's Twine; Linen Thread; Pool Party Epoxy Drops; #C4G306. Awww! We're all about the little bundles of joy this week at As You See It #282! I almost always go back to some retired favorites for baby cards - I've always been smitten by a cute onesie, lol. But since we have just the sentiment in our Happier Than Happy set, I decided to play some current critters on this one! The coordinating DSP is so adorable, I couldn't resist a major feature today - check out this cheery scene! I added some Linen Thread for my baby tag, and a few spots of light with some Brushed Metallic Gold Dots, but really, this is all about the paper, lol. I like that this could girl OR boy, too! I can't wait to see YOUR baby creations this week! Meet you at the challenge! We have another scrummy recipe for you this week at As You See It #275! I had to dig deep for this one - the Something Shiny was almost my undoing! I was super excited to roll out the new Happier Than Happy suite for it - B is for Bear! There were even some subtle colors in the DSP, thought I didn't choose the best sheet to show that, lol. I tried to soften things more by adding a Timber-embossed background in So Saffron, some Soft Sea Foam trees, and my baby tag is in Pool Party. Such fabulous dies! Then I hit on some shiny gold ribbon to finish things off - mission accomplished! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our little cooking challenge - meet you at the challenge! Happier Than Happy Stamp Set; Happy Forest Friends DSP; Basic White, So Saffron, Soft Sea Foam & Pool Party CS; Crumb Cake Ink; Happy Forest Dies; Timber EF; Gold Shimmer Ribbon; Gilded Gem; #AYSI275. Goodness, how cute is the "oh, birdie" cupcake at this week's Cupcake Inspiration #522?! I dug around a little for some "chicks," but the ones I found weren't quite right. But then I remembered that I have Birds & Branches, which has this lovely nest in it AND dies to go with! And well, I hardly ever use this set, lol. Winner winner! I decided to make a sweet congrats card, and show some pretty eggs in the nest, with the proud parents looking on. This pretty sentiment from Many Messages, which I also don't use enough, seemed just right! So cute! Birds & Branches, & Many Messages Stamp Sets; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Soft Suede, Pool Party, Early Espresso & So Saffron Inks; Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green & Poppy Parade Blends Markers; Birds & More, & Messages Dies; #CI522. |
