 Gosh, look at all the fun inspiration pics at Hand-Stamped Sentiments #288 this week! How to choose?? At least I'll have Freshly Made Sketch #334 to help me out, too! My eye was immediately drawn to the bicycle picture from HSS, and I thought of this Pedal Pusher set from 2016's Sale-a-Bration - I loved it! It's a tough call because we have such a fun CURRENT bicycle set with dies and all, sigh... This one isn't very tall, though, so it went better with the sketch - you gotta do what you gotta do! I stuck to the lovely blues in the DSP for my colors, and kept it quick and simple - the best kind!  Look at this lovely vintage inspiration pic from Retro Rubber #85! I feel sure I can find something fun for this, and what a great challenge to do some coloring on for SU Only #198! AND, so relieved I can squeeze in this sketch from Match the Sketch #226 to help me along!When I think vintage, I almost always go back to this set from 2012, Tea Shoppe. I remember the elegant DSP that went with it, which I finally used up, lol. Anyway, this "stay" sentiment is one of my all-time fave SU! sentiments, too! I added a little bit new with our lovely and upcoming Share hat You Love DSP this time a "B" side sheet, lol - the other side is much less neutral. Such a fun morning, coloring and cutting.  Check out our fabulous color challenge at Fab Friday #136 - love it! I think I'll work in Stamp Ink Paper #147's coloring challenge, too - I love to color! I decided to have some fun with markers on the beautiful Petal Passion DSP again - I so love how every coloring tool I've used on it has been so easy to use on it! I think I've been using my markers more lately since I got a cool Marker tower for Christmas, so they're all right there on my desk now, ready to go! My poor aqua-painter isn't getting much fun these days, lol. I've also added a lovely sentiment from our preview set Love What You Do - such happy words! I'm adding in these fire-y colors from In{k}spire Me #347, too! A sketch like this deserves a crazy dramatic stamp set to go with it, too - and I went with Happy Celebrations - so fun playing with these shapes! I figure I could make a swoosh stripe exclamation point and add some words in the right places, though I think I've taken some liberties with the sketch, per usual, lol... I used daubers to multi-color ink up my larger swoosh - worked out really well! I even snuck in some enamel dots for extra color! At the last second, I decided to sue the accompanying EF from Celebration Duo, too - I'm sure gonna miss these guys... I'm super excited to jump in on a new challenge for me this week - Stylin' Stampin' Inspiration - who's running a gate-fold challenge right now! I think I can make Freshly Made Sketch #333 work for it, too! I tried to keep my card front pretty simple, while I worked out whether I could make this sketch work as a gate-fold - I think I made it! I did add some stitched circles behind my balloons, though originally I was trying to go without them. I like it better so much more with them, and they really help keep the card closed. I did put some more cloudy Soft Sky inside, too, though! Soft and pretty - and here in Arizona, yes we DO have Calypso Coral clouds - get over it, lol... It's been a fun little technical morning here... This phrase from "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" is one of my fave Christmas verses ever, and especially the version in our lovely Christmas Pines - LOVE that combo of fonts! I added some pine twigs and holiday berries, and just a few tiny little sparklies for good measure. There's so much to love in the sweet inspiration pic from Fusion Baby's Room this week - memories of my own sweet Ann the Elephant are coming back, too, lol. For my baby elephant theme, I decided to pull in the super cute A Little Wild. The side-by-side nature of the stamps with their framelits makes totally adorable tags, but I also using them on cards, and getting a chance to pull in the booty for the envelopes, lol, as I have today. This is actually my first time with the elephant, so I'm glad to get a chance to have used all my sweet critters! I spotted a few blue details in the inspiration pic, so I also used this as a chance to pull in some Marina Mist DSP - one of our retiring colors. Buh bye!
