 Totally nifty sketch at this week's Nacho Average Challenge #185! I'm combining it with Create With Connie & Mary #434's colors! So, this is me not freaking out about this sketch, lol. You all KNOW I love to change up suggested shapes, and I admit, I had some fun playing with that, trees, hearts, jars, you get the picture. Then I just came back to the circle, and played with sizing, and with keeping it pretty one-layer. Yay! I like this - tres mo-derne, yes? I'm a goofball, but you all know THAT, too, lol.  Lots of fun layers at this week's Match the Sketch #152! I always start out SO overwhelmed by a detailed sketch, lol. Then I get down to business and start throwing details I don't like out the window! Today I wanted to use my new SAB preview DSP, so I took my colors from there, and then I realized I hadn't used my punch balloons in a while. I'll admit, I'm starting to feel like I have too many balloons to choose from, lol. A nice feature sentiment with my stitched framelits, and I am good to go! Love this tiled layout at this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #298! OK, YES, I know that this is way too early, but, well, I still have a couple preview sets on my desk that are calling out to me. There's only one left after this, and that one has to wait for my first regular pre-order, lol, because it goes with something that I didn't get to play with in the Product Purchase Premier at On Stage, sigh... Argh! So, you have to tough out my early flirt with Valentine's, lol. The little DSP stack is also extra exciting, because it comes with 6 sheets of each pattern - PERFECT for my classes! I tried to pick out the less obvious Valentine's patterns today, but really, there's such a pretty variety, I finally gave up on that, lol. Let the romance begin! I'm squeezing in this week's Color Throwdown #420, too! So, asking for an adventure theme pretty much guarantees that I had to use Glamper Greetings, lol. Isn't it cute in these pretty pastels?? I also decided to try for a kind of one-layer arrangement, too, which gave me a reason to finally pull out my Seasonal Decorative masks, too! Still waiting for hubby to buy me a real Glamper, sigh, but at least I get to test out what color I want in the meantime...  Love the floating panel in this week's Sunday Sketch Challenge #140! I'm adding in What Will You Stamp #91's Teeny Tiny Wishes challenge, too! I decided I wanted to have a go at the awesome detailed balloon in the Up & Away Thinlits set that go with the Lift Me Up stamp set - the thinlits include several "bands" intended to fit behind the balloon, so you can color it with paper! So ingenious! I ditched the floating square from the sketch altogether, and used a cloud as my little dangling shape - which was also a perfect vehicle for my sentiment! I love it when it all comes together like this!  Another Friday, another fabulous challenge, with Fab Friday #101! I'm going to squeeze in the lovely inspiration pic at TGIF #82 this week, too! So excited to trot out this next preview set - Tasty Trucks! I was so excited to get my hands on this one, as soon as I saw it in the 2017 Sale-A-Bration catty, I knew it must be mine immediately, ha HA! The set comes with all kinds of treats you might get from the rolling dining service - tacos, hot dogs, ice cream, cupcakes - it's so super yummy! I decided to do a takeoff on the colors from the inspiration graphic, they seemed more taco to me than anything, lol... I can't wait to see what YOU have to share over at the challenge - see you soon! I started by hunting out different sizes in a word, and I landed on "Joy." But as I got started, it just didn't look how I wanted, I'm a bad embosser, it just looks weird, darn it I can't think of anything else, and OH! OK, maybe not as bad as I feared, when I finally got to the end. The more I look at it, the more it's growing on me - I like the mish-mosh of fonts, and the subtle colors and tiny copper details, I think. I'm sticking to it!
