![]() What a sweet sketch this round at Try a Sketch on Tuesday #666 - very Spring! However, you know me, I'm totally an "any shape" kind of gal, lol, so lets mix this up a little! I decided I really wanted to let the seagulls out for a bit again - they were by far my favorite SAB item this year! And look how cool they look over this pebbled sheet from Otterly Adorable - looks like Coney Island to me! To give them a little more presence, I decided to stamp them on circles rather than fussy cut, and I tried to place them in an arc, with a couple french fry cartons, too, lol. I think they came out pretty spiffy! Friendly Seagulls (retired); Otterly Adorable DSP; Basic White & Calypso Coral CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Gray Granite, Calypso Coral & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; 1 3/4", 1 1/2" & 7/8" Circle Punches; Iridescent Pastel Gems in Calypso Coral; #TSOT666. ![]() Pumpkin Club March 29! ![]() Oo, here's a fun sketch from Sketch Saturday #770 - I love tilty panels! The landscape orientation was a little tricky for me on this one - with such a narrow panel, I felt like I needed to tilt the Granny Apple OFF the Pecan Pie to get the angle I wanted, lol. I really wanted to use more of my Fruit Salad DSP, too, and when I went looking for my "Cute Fruit" set to use with it, I spotted this one, Hello Kiwi! A quick check to make sure a kiwi showed on the DSP I chose, and I went to town! It would also be super cute with the actual kiwi sheet - but I used all mine in a class, lol. Finishing with a few Matte Black Dots keep the kiwi going, I think! Hello Kiwi Stamp Set (retired 2024); Fruit Salad DSP; Basic White, Pecan Pie & Granny Apple Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Granny Apple Green Inks; Matte Black Dots; #SS770. ![]() We're all about the love this round at Make My Monday #245! I have to admit, I'm getting a little full-up already on all the pink and red, lol, so I decided to pull out my hungry friends here, Friendly Seagulls! I set them up with an ocean background, and gave them some sandy hearts to stand around on - the only red here is on those fry boxes! Had a fun time coloring and fussy cutting! I can't wait to see YOUR love notes, too - meet you at the challenge! Friendly Seagulls Stamp Set; Sand & Sea DSP (retired); Basic White & Sahara Sand (retired) CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, Real Red & Pecan Pie Blends Markers; Sweet & Sassy Dies (retired); Flowers For Every Season Twine (retired); #MMM245. ![]() Yum! We want to see your food and/or drink this round at Make My Monday #239! I couldn't resist pulling in my new Perfect Pairs set again for this one - what's better than milk and cookies? I really love this simple set - such cute images, easy to fussy cut, and the little sentiments are just right, lol. Anyway, I stamped a couple cookies and my milk carton, and colored everything up with Blends for some serious cuteness! A little Pool Party twine, a few Pool Party Enamel Hearts, and I am all set! I hope you feel like a snack and come join us! Meet you at the challenge! Perfect Pairs Stamp Set; Basic White, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso Ink; Crumb Cake, Mocha, Pool Party & Cherry Cobbler Blends Markers; Birchwood EF; Pool Party Twine; Pool Party Enamel Hearts; #MMM239. ![]() Oh so fun! I'm loving this round's theme at Time Out Challenge #268 - "on vacation!" I can't help but think of the seaside when I think vacation these days - Seaside Wishes to be exact, lol! To get me started I pulled a nice "wave" sheet from the Bright & Beautiful DSP pack, and went to town on sand dollars, starfish, and a little seaweed for decoration, lol. I love these calm ocean colors! I finished with a few Opal Rounds, too - just the right amount of shimmer! Salt water heals all wounds, right? Seaside Wishes Stamp Set; Bright & Beautiful DSP; Basic White & Basic Beige CS; Crumb Cake & Calypso Coral Inks; Seaside Wishes & Tasteful Labels (retired) Dies; Opal Rounds (retired); #TOC268. ![]() Oh gosh, I totally can't resist this one! Festive Friday #163 is celebrating Teddy Bear Picnic Day! I had a fun time going back through all my bear sets - so many cuties, even two cute bear butts, lol! I finally settled on Bear Hugs from 2010 - especially after I saw the hug sentiment! I did up a quick background in Crushed Curry, embossed with my Hive EF - perfect for a bear!~ Then I stamped up the larger bear in Early Espresso, and smudged him all over with a Blender Pen - love to do that with furry critters! I added some twine, and some grass from my Fluffiest Friends Dies, just to pick up some more Inspo List points - I think he's super cute! Bear Hugs Stamp Set (retired 2010); Basic White, Early Espresso, Lemon Lime Twist & Crushed Curry CS; Early Espresso Ink; Blender Pen; Bear Hugs (retired) & Fluffiest Friends Dies; Hive EF (retired); Linen Thread; Adhesive Flowers; #FF0163. ![]() Wow, there's a super cute sketch this round at AAA Cards #268! I had to really dig to tackle this one, lol. I started by looking through my current stamp sets, hunting for a "shape" I could use for the background. Not many! I finally hit on Bee My Valentine - I could use the bee body! And that's just what I did. I did a fun stamped-off collage in pale colors, turning the shape vertical a bit, too. Then I built a full-strength bee and used my Bee Builder Punch to assemble him! The simple sentiment seemed just right to me, and I finished with my last three tiny Daffodil hearts - love how this came out! Bee My Valentine Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Bee Builder Punch; Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers; #AAA268. ![]() We're a little askew this round at Sunday Stamps #334! I've just recently realized that I totally haven't played enough with my adorable Bee My Valentine suite - the DSP is just so cute! I think I broke into the honey sheets, but that was about it, lol. So today's sketch was perfect for showing off TWO patterns - yes! I chose the pretty floral Sweet Sorbet for the background, then this sheet of happy but smaller bees for my tilty panel - perfect! I added a stamped bee, too, just because it's so easy with the builder punch - love it! I can't wait to see your "askew" cards for us this round - meet you at the challenge! Bee My Valentine Stamp Set; Bee Mine DSP; Basic White & lemon Lime Twist CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Daffodil Delight Inks; Sweet Sorbet Stamp-n-Write Marker; Bee Builder Punch; Stylish Shapes Dies; Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots; #SSC334. ![]() We have a pointed landscape sketch for you this round at Sunday Stamps #332! As usual, I took some big liberties with my shapes, lol. And I'm thrilled to show off a few more new beauties! My stamp bundle today is called Unbounded Love, and the gorgeous tags and shapes dies that go with it is totally amazing. You can only see a little bit of the lovely scalloped oval behind my fronds, but the smallest stitched circle is front and center at least! And all of it is styled with the gorgeous Frames & Flowers Specialty DSP pack, which I won during Prize Patrol at On Stage in Houston. Besides a few pretty sheets of our usual reversible DSP, there are several diecut sheets of fun frames and flowers, natch! Love these colors so much! How do you like our new In Color, Peach Pie?? I can't wait to see what YOU make of our sketch this round, meet you at the challenge! Unbounded Love Stamp Set; Frames & Flowers DSP; Basic White & Pretty Peacock CS; Versamark Ink; White EP; Unbounded Love Dies; Peach Pie Shimmer Gems; #SSC332. ![]() We still have time for a little romance at this round's Hand Stamped Sentiments #432, lol - I picked all my favorite loving inspirations for you! Now, that romantic beach-side meal looks pretty awesome to me, followed closely by the chocolates, lol, BUT, I went with the roses today! I pulled my hoarded Hues of Happiness DSP to nab this Melon Mambo collection, and popped up this simple heart with a sentiment from our SAB set Heartfelt Hellos - definitely how I feel about my hubby - love him more each day! I'm so lucky in love! I can't wait to see YOUR romance projects from my inspiration board - meet you at the challenge! Heartfelt Hellos Stamp Set; Hues of Happiness DSP; Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Versamark Ink; White EP; Sweet & Sassy and Blossoming Happiness Dies (both retired); Melon Mambo Glossy Dots; #HSS432. ![]() Pumpkin Club Feb 24 at 2 PM!
