Ah ha! I love the theme for this round's Shopping Our Stash #522 - "How does your garden grow?" I knew just what I wanted to use, too - these bunch of radishes is from our oh-so-playful Eclectic Garden set that retired last year - I so didn't use it enough! I always gravitate towards these little radishes - so fun to color, and the curved sentiment fits perfectly over it! It looks really cute on this Radiating Stitches rectangle, too! I tried out the Basic Beige ink on the background - can't go wrong with flying radishes, right? Eclectic Garden Stamp Set (retired 2023); Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Basic Beige & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Cherry Cobbler, Real Red, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Radiating Stitches Dies; Linen Thread; Granny Apple Green Glitter Sequins; #SOS522.

Ooo, fun! Time Out Challenge #264 would like to see something "magical!" I actually don't have too much on hand "magical" that's current, so off to the retired shelves I went! I came across my beloved Hippo Happiness set - and I remembered this cute sentiment - yes! I set about picking some fun goodies to go with - I knew I wanted a PURPLE unicorn for sure, lol. I still have plenty of my just-retired Lighter Than Air DSP, so I pulled this diamond detail sheet from that, and settled on Fresh Freesia for my purple - and he turned out super cute, if I do say so myself! I gave him a few Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems to complete the sparkle! Hippo Happiness Stamp Set (retired 2022); Lighter Than Air DSP (retired); Basic White & Fresh Freesia CS; Fresh Freesia & Blackberry Bliss Inks; Hippo & Friends Dies (retired); Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems; #TOC264. Good times! AAA Birthday #61 would like us to go CAS this round - clean and simple! This seems like the PERFECT chance to bring in my new Tune In set - love the retro feel of this cutie, and all its little extras! The dies for this one are SO fun - so many different details to play with! I didn't to do too much this time, so I could stick to the "clean and simple" brief, but I have big plans for future cards, lol. Today's set is a vibrant Azure Afternoon, with a textured background to set everything off. As usual, I couldn't resist adding a few retired Pacific Point Fine Sparkle Gems - they match perfectly! Tune In Stamp Set; Basic White & Azure Afternoon CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Azure Afternoon Inks; Azure Afternoon, Crumb Cake & Smoky Slate Blends; Tune In Dies; Basics 2 EF; Pacific Point Fine Sparkle Gems Retired); #AAAB61. We have some super pretty colors for you this round at Hand Stamped Sentiments #439! I think these colors are just perfect for showing off our new "spa" set, Rest Relax Enjoy! I exactly sure what I would do with this set when I ordered it, lol, I just knew I WANTED it! It really reminds me of relaxing days full of pampering - I must need more of that or something, lol. I did a little bit of background stamping with the botanical elements, then got to work on my "bottles." I featured one in each of our soft colors, and dug out my Painted Poppies and Dressed to Impress sets to do the fill-in washes - just the right touch! I stamped the little botanicals on each one as I went, too. I finished with a few Petal Pink Tinsel Gems - yum! I can't wait to see what YOU come up with this round with our colors - meet you at the challenge! Rest Relax Enjoy, Dressed to Impress (retired 2022) & Painted Poppies (retired 2023) Stamp Sets; Basic White & Soft Sea Foam CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Soft Sea Foam, Lost Lagoon & Petal Pink Inks; Petal Pink Tinsel Gems; #HSS439. Very nice - Aloha Friday Challenge #10 is for flowers! That's starting to shape up as a real May theme, lol! I decided to pull out my Cheerful Daisies set for this one - I SO don't ink it up enough! I wasn't a huge fan of the DSP that came with it when it was first released, and I think the darker colors it featured kinda threw me, lol. To that end, I'm pulling out bright Spring colors today! I floated everything over this pretty Lemon Lime Twist gingham, and stamped up a daisy trio in Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Pool Party - and I love them together! I finished with a few pretty diecut leaves, and Adhesive Flowers that are a little hard to see, hmmm. But still cheery! Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set; Glorious Gingham DSP (retired); Basic White & Basic Beige CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Pool Party & Early Espresso Inks; Cheerful Daisies Dies; Adhesive Hearts & Flowers; Lemon Lolly Twine; #AFC10. We are perfectly layered this round at Sunday Stamps #336! I went crazy, and turned the sketch today, lol - I haven't done this in a while, I don't think! But it turned out to be a great strategy for getting in this gorgeous landscape piece of DSP from my carefully hoarded Enjoy the Journey pack, AND I still had room to get in the good "mountain" sentiment from Greatest Journey to go with it! Winner all around - this is still one of my favorite suites of ALL TIME, lol, can you tell?? I snuck in a little Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon and some Solid Faceted Gems to finish up! I can't wait to see YOUR lovely projects with our fun sketch - meet you at the challenge! Greatest Journey Stamp Set (retired 2023); Enjoy the Journey DSP (retired); Basic White & Melon Mambo CS; Melon Mambo Ink; Melon Mambo Cotton Ribbon; Melon Mambo Solid Faceted Gems; #SSC336. Just in time for Memorial Day! Cardz 4 Guyz #347 wants to see stars or stripes this round! After some thought, I went for stripes today - not usually a design element that I tend to feature - I'm more of a dots girl, you know? Anyway, THIS stripey sheet from the Countryside Inn pack has dots, too - win win! I need to start using this DSP more anyway, since it carried over to the new catty - not something that happens very often! With all the blue, I felt like this little cluster of fishing lures would be just right, from Just Fishing - still one of my cutest fishing sets ever! I love that all the sentiments fit into the tackle box spaces, too! I remember using these lures and bobber with my Grandpa, they always make me smile to see them! Gone Fishing Stamp Set; Countryside Inn DSP; Basic White & Misty Moonlight CS; Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, Misty Moonlight & Versamark Inks; White EP; Night of Navy Baker's Twine; Night of Navy Enamel Dot Essentials; #C4G347. We're goin' to the chapel this round at As You See It #324 - for a wedding! I had to really sort through my stamps for this one, because I wanted to keep it ALL current, lol. The Layers of Beauty set is a natural fit, of course, but how to do something a little different? And what sentiment? Happily, inspiration struck, and I thought of heat embossing White on the palest pink we have - Bubble Bath! I couldn't resist the contrast with Lemon Lime Twist, either - so fresh! I also hit on adding just a touch of extra depth, by coloring the largest roses with a Light Bubble Bath blend marker - love the look! I finished with this beautiful sentiment in Something Fancy - a match made in Heaven, so to speak, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR wedding cards this round - meet you at the challenge! Layers of Beauty & Something Fancy Stamp Sets; Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist & Bubble Bath CS; Versamark & Smoky Slate Inks; White EP; Bubble Bath Blend Marker; Something Fancy Dies; Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon; Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems; #AYSI324. The Male Room #186 is for "planes, trains or automobiles!" I know just what I want to do! This of course totally called for our gorgeous new Adventurous Sky suite - I think this is my fave plane set ever! So much to choose from for the papers, too, and the planes are so easy to dress up or dress down! I stayed pretty Night of Navy today - a little Blender Pen smudging is a wondrous thing, lol. I added one of the pretty and realistic clouds, then did a smudged up plane over it, and floated my sentiment above it all! I even used some of the Industrial Trinkets - this is the etched side, but the reverse is very rivet-like! Next card, lol... Adventurous Sky Stamp Set; Take to the Sky DSP; Basic White & Night of Navy CS; Night of Navy & Smoky Slate Inks; Blender Pen; Adventurous Sky & Stylish Shapes Dies; Night of Navy Baker's Twine; Industrial Trinkets; #TMR186. Hah, another new holiday to me - it's Brother's Day at Festive Friday #159! Such a good inspo list for it, too! So, I don't think my card is particularly for a brother, lol, but I picked a few things from the list - more than I thought I would as usual! I took the silver black and red right off the top for my color scheme, then I dug out some old Mini Silver Brads for my sentiment! I got embossing and textured background in one go, using my Metal Plate EF, which goes so great with my "bike" from Legendary Ride! I do like the look of the "chrome" details over my stamped bike! It all just came together on rails! Wheee! Legendary Ride Stamp Set; Basic White, Basic Black, Real Red & Silver Foil CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Legendary Rid & Nested Essentials Dies; Metal Plate EF; Mini Silver Brads (retired); Black Baker's Twine; #FF0159.
