Such a great theme at Shopping Our Stash #484 - "shine bright like a diamond!" I knew right away I wanted to use my "furry & bright" sentiment from the Christmas Scottie set - with three dogs in the house, I can SO relate to this one! I wanted to add a few more bright elements, too, so I went with this DSP from Santa Express again - I love all the little twinkles printed all over it, and the Ho Ho Ho sheet is a great contrast! To finish things off, I of COURSE has to add a few Rhinestones - what else is so "like a diamond??" Christmas Scottie Stamp Set; Santa Express DSP; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Poppy Parade Inks; Scottie Dog Punch; Stylish Shapes & Ornate Frames (retired) Dies; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #SOS484.

Such a great layered sketch we have at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #585 this week! It's perfect to match with our inspiration board at Hand Stamped Sentiments#403! I totally had to go with the Santa train from our board - I haven't used my Santa's Delivery set nearly enough yet! It seemed perfect for our TSOT layout, too - and so much fun to color! I even slipped in a couple of the fun pattern sheets from the DSP pack - go me! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges - get your jingle on! Santa's Delivery Stamp Set; Santa Express DSP; Mint Macaron, Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce, Mint Macaron, Pool Party & Basic Black Blends Markers; Santa's Train & Stylish Shapes Dies; Adhesive-Backed Stars; #TSOT585; #HSS403. This should be fun - Make My Monday #188 has a "things with wings" challenge! I decided to do the pretty Pegasus in my Pure Magic set for the wings - trying to think outside the nest, so to speak, lol. This is the only image I haven't used yet - and I almost did go with the dragon again! Still, gotta let everyone get inky! Anyway, I pulled out this sky-like DSP sheet from the retired Sunshine & Rainbows pack, and did a cloudy feature using my Basic Borders dies. I kept my Pegasus pretty simple, but added some subtle color on the wings using a Water Painter - I love the look! Pure Magic Stamp Set; Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (retired); Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Fresh Freesia & Smoky Slate Inks; Water Painters; Basic Borders Dies; Subtle Shimmer Sequins; #MMM188. Yum! I love our frosty colors this round at Sunday Stamps #297! I couldn't help but turn strait away to our yummy Sweet Candy Canes set - I love that we get canes facing both ways, and dies to match! I did one each in Cherry Cobbler and Sweet Sorbet, and flanked them in foliage in Soft Sea Foam and Soft Succulent. Sentiment and accents are in Evening Evergreen. I love these colors together! I even managed to slide in my ribbon late with the help of a seam turning tool, lol. Opal Rounds were still out on my desk from yesterday, so I got to use a few of those, too! Yum! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for these gorgeous colors - ho ho ho! Sweet Candy Canes Stamp Set; Basic White & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler, Sweet Sorbet, Soft Sea Foam, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen Inks; Candy Canes & Stitched Shapes (retired) Dies; Painted Textures EF; Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon; Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds; #SSC297. Oo, I spy a little sparkle in this round's In{k}spire Me #491! These colors were a bit of a challenge for a Christmas card, but I persevered! I couldn't resist coloring some more trees on this fun sheet from the Celebrate Everything DSP pack - so fun! I paired it up with this gorgeous sentiment from Decorated With Happiness, which I floated over some retired silver Mini Tinsel Trim I found - SO retired, lol. I finished with some Polish Pink Opal Rounds, too, for even more sparkle! Decorated With Happiness Stamp Set; Celebrate Everything DSP; Basic White & Pool Party CS; Polished Pink Ink; Polished Pink & Pool Party Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Silver Mini Tinsel Trim; Polished Pink Opal Rounds; #IMC491. Good one! Cardz 4 Guyz #309 would like to see some manly thank yous this round! I decided this would be a great chance to try out the punny thank you in A Little Cheesy - so funny! I did an all-over background in this striped sheet from the Design A Daydream DSP pack, and floated my feature over that on a Stitched Rectangle. The pudding bowl was super easy to fussy-cut for some extra dimension! I finished with some Blackberry Bliss Ribbon and some purple Glossy Dots - looks tasty to me! A Little Cheesy Stamp Set; Design A Daydream DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate & SU100 Blends Markers; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon; Glossy Dots; #C4G309. Such a cool theme this round at Cupcake Inspirations #557 - owls! I was super stoked to realize that I actually have a CURRENT owl, lol, in the Happier Than Happy set! Once I settled on that, I knew I wanted to pull in the sweet DSP, too - Happy Forest Friends. Finally my chance to use this pretty scenery sheet - I would want to hang out there! I stamped my fluffy owl, and gave him a tree stump to perch on. A welcome sentiment seemed just right! Happier Than Happy Stamp Set; Happy Forest Friends DSP; Basic White & Calypso Coral CS; Smoky Slate & Soft Suede Inks; Happy Forest Dies; Brushed Gold Dots; Linen Thread; #CIC557. What a fun code word at this round of Addicted to CAS #233 - "present!" So glad I can squeeze this one in with them going on winter break for a while! So I guess I'm thinking more "gifts" than "presents," lol. As I scanned my retired shelves, I spotted my Great Tidings set from 2021, and remembered that there was s stamp for the wise men's gifts - what a present! I pulled together this quick card with Distressed Gold details, to go with the gifts, of course! Such a great set still! Great Tidings Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White & Distressed Gold CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Mango Melody Inks; Soft Succulent, Mango Melody & Blackberry Bliss Blends Markers; Wise Men Tidings (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; #ATC233. We have a fun tic-tac-toe this round at Retro Rubber #196! It'll be sweet to pair it with fun Christmas packaging at SU Only #315! One of my annual neighborhood gifts is my yummy Christmas Toffee (affectionately called "Christmas Crack," lol) and half the fun is decorating the pretty cafe bags I usually package it in. I wanted to try a new one this year, and our Retro tic-tac-toe was just what I needed to get me started! I went with the top row - you know what's orange at Christmas?? A snowman's nose, of course! Whew! I pieced together my snow guys from 2015's Snow Place - still a classic! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges this round - meet you there! Snow Place Stamp Set (retired 2015); Cafe Bag; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Bermuda Bay Inks; Pumpkin Pie Blends Markers; Real Red & Old Olive Stamp-n-Write Markers; Snow Friends Dies; Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon; #RRCB196; #SUOC315. I LOVE the prompt at this month's The Flower Challenge #74 - "add embellishments!" No problem! Today I wanted to play with my Blessings of Home set - somehow I don't seem to ink it up as often as I could. I wanted bright colors today - a contrast to the DSP this set was introduced with - I think this might be what has put me off, lol. I had myself a good old time with my blends markers, lol, and my embellishments are two of my beloved Bumblebee Trinkets - of course they'd be buzzing by these pretty flowers! Blessings of Home Stamp Set; Basic White & Old Olive CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake & Sweet Sorbet Blends Markers; Painted Textures EF; Flowers of Home Dies; Bumblebee Trinkets; #TFC74.
