I knew right away I wanted to use my "furry & bright" sentiment from the Christmas Scottie set - with three dogs in the house, I can SO relate to this one! I wanted to add a few more bright elements, too, so I went with this DSP from Santa Express again - I love all the little twinkles printed all over it, and the Ho Ho Ho sheet is a great contrast! To finish things off, I of COURSE has to add a few Rhinestones - what else is so "like a diamond??"  Such a great layered sketch we have at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #585 this week! It's perfect to match with our inspiration board at Hand Stamped Sentiments#403! I totally had to go with the Santa train from our board - I haven't used my Santa's Delivery set nearly enough yet! It seemed perfect for our TSOT layout, too - and so much fun to color! I even slipped in a couple of the fun pattern sheets from the DSP pack - go me! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges - get your jingle on!  This should be fun - Make My Monday #188 has a "things with wings" challenge! I decided to do the pretty Pegasus in my Pure Magic set for the wings - trying to think outside the nest, so to speak, lol. This is the only image I haven't used yet - and I almost did go with the dragon again! Still, gotta let everyone get inky! Anyway, I pulled out this sky-like DSP sheet from the retired Sunshine & Rainbows pack, and did a cloudy feature using my Basic Borders dies. I kept my Pegasus pretty simple, but added some subtle color on the wings using a Water Painter - I love the look! Yum! I love our frosty colors this round at Sunday Stamps #297! I couldn't help but turn strait away to our yummy Sweet Candy Canes set - I love that we get canes facing both ways, and dies to match! I did one each in Cherry Cobbler and Sweet Sorbet, and flanked them in foliage in Soft Sea Foam and Soft Succulent. Sentiment and accents are in Evening Evergreen. I love these colors together! I even managed to slide in my ribbon late with the help of a seam turning tool, lol. Opal Rounds were still out on my desk from yesterday, so I got to use a few of those, too! Yum! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for these gorgeous colors - ho ho ho! I paired it up with this gorgeous sentiment from Decorated With Happiness, which I floated over some retired silver Mini Tinsel Trim I found - SO retired, lol. I finished with some Polish Pink Opal Rounds, too, for even more sparkle!  Good one! Cardz 4 Guyz #309 would like to see some manly thank yous this round! I decided this would be a great chance to try out the punny thank you in A Little Cheesy - so funny! I did an all-over background in this striped sheet from the Design A Daydream DSP pack, and floated my feature over that on a Stitched Rectangle. The pudding bowl was super easy to fussy-cut for some extra dimension! I finished with some Blackberry Bliss Ribbon and some purple Glossy Dots - looks tasty to me!
