We're keeping things off-center at this week's mix-it-up at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #535! I'm also delighted to add in our gorgeous colors at Hand Stamped Sentiments #378 - Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Merry Merlot! With colors like these, it was hard not to think Christmas, so I rolled with it! With the greens and the merlot, I knew I had all I needed for some rich poinsettias, so I pulled out the gorgeous dies and went to work, finishing with a few subtle Genial Gems. Once again, the all over background really spoke to me, perfect for setting everything off! I can't wait to see what you make with both our challenges this week - meet you there! Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set; Tidings of Christmas DSP; Basic White, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent & Merry Merlot CS; Merry Merlot Ink; Poinsettia Dies; Oval Punch; Genial Gems; #TSOT535; #HSS378.

Very fun - Addicted to CAS #211 is closing out the year with a "colorful" challenge, lol. Let's do it! What an awesome chance to show off another sneaky peek! Here's a tiny look at the upcoming Rainbow of Happiness stamp set, coming up in our new Spring Mini Catty! As you can see it has a sweet set of dies to go with the fun sentiments, AND here's another look at the Sale-a-Bration DSP, Sunshine & Rainbows, that you'll be able to get with it, too! I wasn't sure I could pull off a "colorful" CAS card, but this suite made it a breeze! Rainbow of Happiness Stamp Set (JJ Spring Mini); Sunshine & Rainbows DSP; Basic White CS; Magenta Madness Ink; Brilliant Rainbow Dies; Magenta Madness Jewels; #ATC211. I am LOVING our frosty Christmas colors this week at Sunday Stamps #271! These gorgeous colors reminded me so much of the rich papers in our Tidings of Christmas pack, I had to use them! I picked a couple of my favorite sheets and pulled together a layout - simple but effective! Then I realized that doing an all-over layer for the front would give me even more pop - I love it! A few holly details really add to the finished look, along with my fine strand of Cherry Cobbler Linen Thread. It really all came together! I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our festive colors - meet you at the challenge! Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set; Tidings of Christmas DSP; Basic White, Evening Evergreen & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler Ink; Layering Circles & Christmas Trimmings Dies; Cherry Cobbler Linen Thread; #SSC271. What a great quote from Da Vinci for this week's Time Out Challenge #201 - now THIS is a call for a CAS card! I think I kept it pretty CAS, but managed a bit of sophistication, too. I really wanted to go back to my I Am set from Divinity Designs - today's John 15:1 quote is such a profound one. Seems to answer Da Vinci's quote on a few levels for me, lol. Anyway, while I kept the image and sentiment sparse, I also really dialed up the texture for my background, and couldn't resist a few soft green gems to finish things off. I even sponged some "vine" on my envelope from the diecut leftovers! I Am from Divinity Designs; Basic White, Early Espresso & Pear Pizzazz CS; Early Espresso & Pear Pizzazz Ink; Layering Circles & Harvest Dies; Painted Texture EF; Genial Gems; #TOC201. I'm so thrilled to debut my first challenge as a design team member at the gorgeous As You See It challenge blog! I'm starting off with a great one, too - As You See It #264 is all about pets! I'm also excited that this challenge gives me the perfect chance to finally fussy-cut this adorable Golden Retriever from our Sweet Stockings DSP - yes, this image is the whole reason I went for this entire suite, lol. We love ALL labs in this house (two chocolates live here, with their blue Weimaraner sister) and this little trouble maker has been making me smile ever since this catty came out! I just couldn't resist! I can't wait to see YOUR pets in action, too - meet you at the challenge! Sweet Little Stockings Stamp Set; Sweet Stockings DSP; Basic White & Cherry Cobbler CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Cherry Cobbler Blend Marker; Stockings Dies; Timber EF; Wonderful Gems; #AYSI264. A very gorgeous theme this week at Less is More #356 - silhouette! Oddly enough, this challenge is perfectly timed to take advantage of another sneaky peek! I just received my giveaway set of Amazing Silhouettes from our On Stage @Home event - a sweet little number coming out in our Spring Mini Catalog. I'm not sure I would have actually purchased this one (shhh!) but now that it's here, I am fascinated by the effects I can get by playing around with daubers! Today I played with three shades of green, but next time I can't wait to add heat embossing to the mix! And how do you like the new Brushed Brass Butterflies? I wasn't sure about those either, but now I love them, too! Amazing Silhouettes (JJ Spring Mini 2022) & Tasteful Touches Stamp Sets; Basic White CS; Early Espresso, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz & Mossy Meadow Inks; Sponge Daubers; Brushed Brass Butterflies; #LIM356. Oo, another fun "recipe" challenge from As You See It #263! I can just squeak in! As always, this was so much fun! I couldn't stop thinking of some kind of kraft-white combo, so I went a variation of that, and expanded my browns a bit, lol. I used BOTH Wintry EFs for my background textured layers, and punched out this trio of plaid trees to go over it. A triple stranded Linen Thread wrap covered my "twine," and I went straight to this old Christmas Greetings die for my one-word sentiment. I'm so happy with how this came out, love these plaid trees! Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set; Basic White & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso, Soft Suede & Crumb Cake Inks; Wintry EFs 1 & 2; Christmas Greetings Dies; Pine Tree Punch; Linen Thread; Wonderful Gems; #AYSI263. Our lovely banded "tag" sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #534 is perfect for our first Christmas theme at SU Only #289, too! Well, I had to break out my beloved Painted Christmas DSP for this one - that paper just ticks all my holiday boxes, lol. I also tried my hand again at "customizing" a Tailored Tag for sentiment - I love it! Basically, I ran the tag a second time through the cutting machine, just to take a bite off the end so it fit perfectly - works like a charm! A few Gilded Gems add the final touch. I cant wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges - come join the fun! Meet you there! Christmas to Remember & Christmas Season Stamp Sets; Painted Christmas DSP; Basic White & Real Red CS; Evening Evergreen, Pear Pizzazz & Real Red Inks; Tailored Tags & Seasonal Labels Dies; Braided Linen Trim in Real Red; Gilded Gems; #TSOT534; #SUOC289. Very lovely - In{k}spire Me #462 has a wonderful soft and layered combo for us this week! These colors were a bit of a challenge for me, and finally I went digging through my DSP to see if I had anything that had at least a couple of the colors. Luckily, I came across the gorgeous Expressions in Ink pack - how have I not used more of this?? Anyway, it had both Pale Papaya and Pear Pizzazz in it, so I figured I could add the other two greens myself! I did my background and accent in Mossy Meadow, and cut these pretty leaves from Mint Macaron - one of my fave dies! I amped up the gold a little with a few gilded gems, too... Artistically Inked Stamp Set; Expressions in Ink DSP; Basic White, Mint Macaron & Mossy Meadow CS; Mossy Meadow Ink; Artistic Dies; 1 3/4" Circle Punch; Gilded Gems; #IM462. Pumpkin Club November 27! Wow, Fusion has a VERY modern take on ornaments this week at their "triangle balls" challenge, lol. While I'm intrigued by the inspiration, I think I'll slide straight to the sketch today, though, lol. AND, take the opportunity to showcase a sneaky-peek at Awesome Otters, an upcoming Spring Sale-a-Bration set! Isn't it the cutest? I found this DSP in another SAB offering, called Sunshine & Rainbows - you're going to love this paper - all the rest are much brighter and rainbow-y, lol. Let's hear it for the otters! Awesome Otters Stamp Set (Spring 2022 SAB); Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (Spring 2022 SAB); Basic White & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Basic Black, Calypso Coral & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; 1 1/2" Circle Punch; Seaside EF (retired); Subtle Shimmer Sequins; #FusionTriangleBalls.
