 Love it - AAA Cards #260 has a sweet sketch for us this round! I still have a couple stamp sets waiting on my desk for their ink-christening, so I checked there first for ideas. And we have a winner! Cap & Gown is our new graduation set, and since the one I've been using is Pure Gumption from 2013, I decided to do a little refresh, lol. It has some very fun images, that are perfect for coloring! Yay! I did a quick little trio of the important images, and added a little color to go with - Blueberry Bushel twice in one week? Aliens must have been here, lol. Anyway, as usual, I couldn't resist some cute little Blueberry embellies, too, but still pretty CAS, I think!  Oh gosh, look at that little pink mortarboard, lol. How perfect is this themed cupcake for this week's Cupcake Inspirations #545?? So, I spotted a super cute grad card out in the blogosphere a couple weeks ago, of a critter with a grad hat on, and I thought, oh, that's genius! If I have to make any graduation cards, I'm totally trying that! Well, today is that day, lol. I pulled out my old Pure Gumption set that retired in 2013 - it had the hat I needed AND a cute sentiment to go with! Looking over my extensive critter collection, I decided a puffin would fit perfectly underneath, lol, so I did up this simple cutie in our local school's colors. Quick, fun, and adorable! OK, it's time for all things manly, in our Guy Cards 2022 class! Sometimes it's a little challenging to create for our dudes in the manner they deserve, but we'll be on it in this class! Yet another great design theme over at The Male Room #130 - embossing! Inspired by my Witty-Cisms stamp set finally getting here, I decided to try my hand at DOUBLE embossing, lol. I really wanted to try out my also-new Absolutely Argyle EF - very cool! It has amazing detail. I also did a little dabbing with my Versamark pad and added a bit of Silver EP to see if I could really bring out some highlights. I'm really happy with the results - it looks like a silver patina! I finished off with this little grad sentiment from the stamp set - I think silver and blue fits a few schools around here! Time to put those babies to work, turn the sketch, and go for a string of triangle mountains, with a nice tent, lol. I matched it up with our awesome Well Said set to make a cute graduation card for the intrepid grad - good times ahead! I tried to add a few details, but I wanted to keep it pretty unadorned as I envision giving this one to a guy graduate. Seems like the right time of year to go grad, though I wanted to use the birthday sentiments at first. I decided I could add more color contrast details this way in the end. (And shhh! I snuck in a touch of silver, don't tell!)
