With perfect timing for the day, Can You Handle the Pressure has a twist of pumpkins this round! How can I resist? I've been pulling out my old Pretty Pumpkins set a lot this year, lol, but the one element I haven't been using is the fabulous filigree pumpkin in the dies - it's over the top! Today is the day, lol, and I have THREE of these beauties over my old Chevron EF background! I went a little wild with my colors, but I do think they work pretty well! Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White, Basic Black, Soft Sea Foam, Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue, Pumpkin Pie & Smoky Slate CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Detailed Pumpkins & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); Chevron EF; Matte Black Dots; #CYHTPPumpkins.

We have a lovely color array for you this week at Sunday Stamps #295! When I really got down to it, I felt like I was seeing a couple of our retried colors on this one, lol. Seaside Spray and Pretty Peacock, anyone?? These colors made a perfect bottle in my mind, so I worked in touches of the remaining colors after that, lol. I even had some Pretty Peacock DSP scrap to add - woo hoo! I'm so happy with how this came out! I can't wait to see YOUR projects in our colors this round - I hope you can come play! Bottled Happiness Stamp Set; Pretty Peacock DSP (retired); Basic White & Pretty Peacock (retired) CS; Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray, Crushed Curry & Soft Suede Inks; Vintage Bottle Punch; Fine Sparkle Gems; Cajun Craze Linen Thread; #SSC295. Nice! Time Out Challenge #225 wants us to be "thankful" for this one - I'm on it! I wanted to use a set that actually used the word "thankful" for this one, and a quick scan pulled out Gathered Wheat for me. Such a pretty set - I was excited when it came out, because I really don't have anything else like it! I hunted for some DSP in yellows, and came across this pretty So Saffron sheet in Happy Forest Friends - so perfect for setting off the golden wheat! I had a good time pulling in all the elements for this one! Gathered Wheat Stamp Set; Happy Forest Friends DSP; Basic White, Soft Suede, So Saffron & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso & Crumb Cake Inks; Daffodil Delight Blends Marker; Wheat & Stitched So Sweetly (retired) Dies; Rustic Metallic Dots; Linen Thread; #TOC225. So fun - In{k}spire Me #489 has an Autumn/Halloween challenge for us this round! I couldn't (and didn't!) resist using some of my Rings of Love DSP for this one - I have quite a few packs of this still leftover from Sale-A-Bration, lol. Slowly but surely getting there! Anyway, this sheet with the colorful leaves and acorns is one of my favorite Fall sheets ever! I did a loving sentiment on one of the embossed and diecut wood rounds, and fussy cut a few stamped acorns for good measure! I love that the stamped acorns double as toadstool caps, too - had to show THAT on the envelope, lol. Ringed With Nature Stamp Set; Rings of Love DSP; Basic White, Crumb Cake & Soft Suede CS; Early Espresso, Crumb Cake & Poppy Parade Ink; Tree Rings Dies & EF; Rustic Metallic Dots; #IMC489. Cardz 4 Guyz #307 wants us to use Autumnal colors this round! I always think of Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie when I think of Fall colors, lol, what fun set could I show them off with? I finally decided on an autumnal Splendid Thoughts - the abstract 2-step stamps are perfect for layering these colors! I did everything on Very Vanilla for a change, too, it just seemed like the right background! Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set; Crumb Cake, Early Espresso & Very Vanilla CS; Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Splendid Stems Dies; Rustic Metallic Dots; #C4G307. They sure have some spooky cuties at this round's Cupcake Inspirations #555! It didn't take me but a second to realize that those cupcakes were totally channeling our old Cookie Cutter Halloween set from 2016! So cute, lol. I decided to do a takeoff of a classic "inchies" layout, so I could get everyone on there! Our Stylish Shapes Dies were perfect! I used this distressed sentiment from the Boo-tiful Bags Paper Pumpkin - can you believe THAT'S from September 2014? I really had to dig today, lol! Cookie Cutter Halloween (retired 2016) & Boo-tiful Bags (Paper Pumpkin Sep 2014) Stamp Sets; Celebrate Everything DSP; Basic White & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Matte Black Dots; #CIC555. I can't believe I'm getting another triple out for you guys this month! Today I'm sporting the "coloring" theme for SU Only #313, using our fresh 90's colors at Retro Rubber #194, in this fun mix it up challenge we have at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #579! I slipped back to 2020's Gather Together for my favorite leaves to color! I usually do this one in a watercolor wash with Water Painters, but today, I wanted to try it out with my Blends Markers - I love them so much! In the end, I'm really happy with how they came out, I feel like I can spot ALL the colors I used - neat effect! I really like that slash of Bermuda Bay for my sentiment, too, these have been such fun retro colors! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for ALL these challenges - see you there! Gather Together Stamp Set (retired 2020); Basic White, Cajun Craze, Mango Melody & Bermuda Bay CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Cajun Craze & Real Red Blends Markers; Timeworn Type EF; Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels; #SUOC313; #RRCB194; #TSOT579. CAS on Friday #242 has a fun color challenge for us - black and white, plus ONE color - nifty! I remembered that I have some cool black and white sheets in my giant Celebrate Everything hostess pack of DSP - even a few scraps of my absolute fave, these quirky trees! Rather than color in my DSP like I have been doing, I opted to float one bold splash of Granny Apple Green over it, in the smaller tree from our Spruced Up set. I am so smitten by this set! Love the dies, love the shapes, love the mix and match sentiments! I got it to make tags, but so far I'm still doing cards, lol! Spruced Up Stamp Set; Celebrate Everything DSP; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Granny Apple Green Ink; Spruced Up Outlines Dies; Matte Black Dots; #CASOF242. Pumpkin Club October 29! I'm thrilled to join in for Shopping Our Stash #481's "frightfully delightful" challenge, lol - BOO! As soon as I saw them call out skeletons (among other creepies, lol) I KNEW I had to pull my old Mr. Funny Bones from 2016 - I still love this guy! He's the best build-o-bones set we have, complete with several bone-y sentiments, lol. I did a basic upright skeleton today in Black, with Pumpkin Pie accessories - he's headed out for some fun! Don't get your humerus bent out of shape, now, lol. Mr. Funny Bones Stamp Set (retired 2016); Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Iridescent Pearls; #SOS481. Whew - so glad to be able to play this round finally at The Sisterhood of Crafters' "one for the guys" challenge! I haven't pulled out my He's All That suite in far too long, and I can never get enough of the manly DSP! I went with a barbecue theme for this one - hubby does the grilling in our house, and I just had to use the BBQ sheet, lol. We even had a little grill in the die-cut pieces sheets - perfect! I did up a medallion of the smoky sentiment, and popped everything together - simple and quick! He's All That Stamp Set; He's the Man DSP; Basic White & Cajun Craze CS; Cajun Craze Ink; All That Dies; #TSOCOneFortheGuys. Pumpkin Club October 29! Did you check out your October Pumpkin kit yet?
