 OK, I'm just gonna put this out there - this fu-fu rainbow dress in Fusion's inspiration pic in NOT in my repertoire at all, lol - I'm more of a birks and jeans kinda gal! But I bet I can do SOMETHING... OK, just looking at the sketch, lol, how about another last fond farewell to Sale-A-Bration? It's been a great run! Tied for my first place fave (with Darling Donkeys, of course) is the Berry Blessings bundle - the adorable blueberry set paired up with a truly gorgeous pack of fruity DSP, which all also coordinates with the Sweet Strawberry bundle in the Spring Mini Catty. Yum! I decided to show off this lovely blackberry sheet - I haven't used this sheet yet at all - yes, hoarding again, sigh. This reminds me so much of when I used to go berry foraging - I had lots of awesome places to pick, and probably brought home gallons of 'em. Those were the days!  Well, The Library Challenge #77 has done it again with another super cute title The Big Red Bath for us! I'm not familiar with this one, but the cover sure is cute! For whatever reason, I don't seem to have the animals from the book cover in any current sets (not even the little kids, yuk yuk) but hey, Sale-a-Bration is ending this weekend, so how about we let the donkeys get some splash time while they can? Geez, I sure crack myself up sometimes, lol. Now I know this donkey-in-a-bath might be a little suggestive - he's clearly giving off some come-hither vibes with that flower, but really, it's just a "happy spa day" card, really... Snicker. Here I am back at Stampin' Pals #12 - the challenge this month is "favorite technique!" I was hard-pressed to pick just one thing, lol. And I'm not sure if what I fell back on even qualifies! I LOVE to color and fussy cut - so much! Is that a technique? I added my next fave in line, paper-piecing, just in case, lol. We have so many great dies these days, I had to really dig for a good one that I'd cut by hand - and Hot Dog wins the day! Check out this little cutie! I stamped and colored him with my blends, the paper-pieced him a little blanket and beret, lol - too cute, right? After I fussy cut my guy, I cut an extra flap at the top of the blanket, to fold behind him, creating a softer edge - I love the look! Purple Posy looks perfect on him!
