 OK, this is totally cute, the theme at this week's Cardz 4 Guyz #269 is "wheels!" Time to get moving! This would have been a great challenge for me to bring out Geared Up Garage - especially because it's on the retiring list, sigh. But I felt like something a little more fun today, lol, so out came Sale-A-Bration 2017's Tasty Trucks! I still love this set, and there are endless ways to color it up! I pulled this squiggly sheet from our Snail Mail DSP, and used it as my color inspiration for the truck. I always laugh at this saucy sentiment, and I finished it off with a "Thanks!" inside! So fun!  Check out the SWEET colors at this week's Cupcake Inspirations #517 - pastels! Looks like I'm not done stenciling this week, lol, because I went straight back to the stack still on my desk for this swirly beauty! It reminded me of the frosting, really, and I have a hard time not putting an actual cupcake on every challenge I do for this blog, lol. I'm really happy with how this came out - I did a little walk through our palest most pastel colors, and I really don't use them much! What a sweet background it makes! At that point I could only put a nice bold sentiment over all that, and I love it! How about that, another no-stamping card! Well, I couldn't help it - I love this design in my Pattern Party Masks so much, and I hardly ever use it! These little diamonds remind of twinkles, somehow, but I thought they'd make a sweet background for this pretty sympathy sentiment in Inspired Thoughts. I slipped a little diecut poppy in Blackberry Bliss behind it, too - simple, but dramatic, I think! I think most folks know that green and purple is one of my fave color combos, and little Crumb Cake details just take it over the top for me! I decided to take our retiring See The Good out for another spin while I still can - I still love this elegant pear! As I was stamping my layers, I sort of tossed all the pieces over where I thought they'd end up as, and I was really struck by the topsy-turvy look, lol, so I actually glued it down this way for a little visual fun - what do you think?  What a fun way to show off our gorgeous poppies sets - this week's Fusion Poppies challenge! I've been carefully hoarding all the goodies that go with our Painted Poppies, for just this moment! I have some lovely sheets of the DSP left, of course, and I decided I wanted to "reverse" my style: a bright colored background, with stark black and white for the featured squares. This particular oversize image sheet was perfect for my background, and I picked out a couple individual elements in black to go with my sentiment. I even had some sequins left, lol.
