Very fun - Shopping Our Stash #499 would like to see the sentiment as the focus this round! I think I can fit in Festive Friday #137's Global Forgiveness Day, too! I remembered that I had some big word dies in my Art Gallery bundle, that just retired earlier this year - I even still have plenty of the DSP, too! I chose a pretty sheet for my background that has both Pool Party and Mossy Meadow in it, so there's my blue and green, and I added "sorry" to complete the thought. I finished with this still gorgeous Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, and added a Playful Pets trinket to get in a heart embellishment, too, lol. I'm really happy with how this came out - I'm not sure I've ever used this big word die before! Art Gallery Stamp Set (retired 2023); Fine Art Floral DSP (retired): Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Floral Gallery Dies (retired); Pool Party Sheer Ribbon (retired); Playful Pets Trinket (retired); #SOS499; #FF0137.

A perfect layered sketch is on deck for us this round at Sunday Stamps #308 - and we have an "any shape," too! Yes! With all these layers, I knew I wanted to feature some new DSP, so here's another look at the Cheerful Daisies suite - THIS time with the pretty paper, too! I did an all-over background layer, then featured the back of that sheet layered with our brand new Lemon Lolly color - perfect! I got to feature my favorite sentiment in this set on my little flag, and I finished with a couple of daisies that riff on the DSP. LOVE that the stamps give us the outline stamp AND a fill-in stamp for everything! I tucked in a tiny scrap of greenery, and a few Solid Gems just for luck, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR sketchy projects this round - meet you at the challenge! Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set; Fresh As A Daisy DSP; Basic White, Lemon Lolly & Garden Green CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Crushed Curry Inks; Cheerful Daisies Dies; Banners Pick A Punch; Solid Gems in Lemon Lolly; #SSC308. Such a cute sketch this week at In{k}spire Me #483 - I love diagonals! This seemed like a great layout to break in my new Olive Branch set! I was intrigued as soon as I saw it - I don't have anything else like it! I decided the smaller branch would fit perfect on an oval, and there was even room for the sentiment, lol. So fun. I did my background layout in greens - Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz. I thought at first I would do a stamped off background on the diagonal with the larger branch, but in the end I pulled out my still-beloved Layered Leaves EF. For the olives, I first inked up the stamp in Old Olive (natch, lol) then I went over the olives themselves with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp-n-Write marker. The color is perfect for the olives around here! Olive Branch Stamp Set; Basic White, Old Olive & Pear Pizzazz CS; Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss Inks; Blackberry Bliss Stamp-n-Write Marker; Layering Ovals Dies (retired); Layering Leaves EF (retired); Clear Elegant Faceted Gems; #IMC483. Annual Catty Roundup Class, Aug 13 at 2 PM I couldn't resist this catch-all class to "round up" some stamp sets that don't quite fit in our other classes, lol. There will be a little bit of everything, with at least 5 all-occasion cards with envelopes today! I think some Sale-A-Bration could sneak in, too, lol! Class includes all supplies needed for your projects (bring your own fave snips and adhesive!) plus snacks and drinks, and a special gift from me, all for $25! This class can also be FREE with your order of $30 or more! Class is announced for Saturday, August 13 at 2 pm - RSVP now to save your spot! Hm, CAS on Friday #232 is all about the fruit today - cool! I couldn't resist pulling out my Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin set from December 2021 - still cute, and still hilarious! I had to go with this little zinger for my sentiment today, so I used the little frown-y faces on my cherries, lol. I crack myself up! I was also excited to break out our new DSP stack patterns today too - aren't these Poppy Parade dots the best?? Lots of Pun Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set (Dec 2021); Poppy Parade DSP; Basic White & Poppy Parade CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Poppy Parade & Granny Apple Green Blends Markers; Stitched Shapes Dies (retired); Sequins for Everything (retired); #CASOF232. Guy Cards 2022 June 11, 2 pm! OK, it's time for all things manly, in our Guy Cards 2022 class! Sometimes it's a little challenging to create for our dudes in the manner they deserve, but we'll be on it in this class! Class will feature 5 cards and envelopes, all from the Spring Mini Catalog, for all guy occasions, lol. Class includes all supplies needed (bring your own fave snips and adhesive) plus snacks and drinks, and a special gift from me, all for $25! This class can also be FREE with your order of $30 or more! Class is on for Saturday, June 11 at 2 pm - RSVP now to save your spot! So pretty - In{k}spire Me #394 has such a cool breezy combo for us this week - love it! I definitely wanted to include the study in blues this week, though I think I did the proportions a little different from the sketch, lol. I finally came up with an idea using our still-going-strong Sorry For Everything set - love this one, and how versatile it is with the different sentiment matchings. Some pretty Navy DSP from my retired Twinkle Twinkle stash anchors the bottom, and I used the big "sorry" to cover my image doodle. A fun challenge! At the last second, I sprinkled on some tiny blue sequin squares for just a touch more detail - just enough! Sorry for Everything Stamp Set; Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired); Whisper White, Pacific Point & Pool Party CS; Night of Navy Ink; Sprinkles Embellishments (retired); #IM394. 2019 New Catty Preview Class June 15! Sunday Stamps Challenge #148 has a gorgeous sketch for us this week - I so love banners! I'm also adding in What Will You Stamp #107 - I LOVE Here For You! I wanted to make this card a funny one, and I spent some time figuring out how I could create some kind of visual joke. Lucky for me, Cool Treats gave me just the chance I was looking for! Has anyone else ever had this happen? SUCH a bummer ( and I wish it doesn't happen to you, lol!) Cool Treats & Here For You Stamp Sets; Tasty Treats DSP; Whisper White, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso CS; Watermelon Wonder & Early Espresso Inks; Early Espresso Marker; Layering Circles & Frozen Treats Framelits; Early Espresso Baker's Twine; Basic Jewels Rhinestones; #SSC148; #WWYS107. I love this fun layout from Match the Sketch #161 - so much movement! Sorry about that post title, lol, but well, I lifted it right our of my sentiment! I really was excited about using my awesome new Nailed It bundle (matching framelits - YES!) but somehow the first card I made with it was this "sorry" card, lol. Pretty funny all round. I decided to add a color to the suites palette, too - I love the look of Cherry Cobbler with Delightful Dijon, and the little ruler thinlit in the dies was pretty much made just for that sketch element! Whenever I need to send a "sorry" note, I'll have this one ready to go, lol. Now I'm actually looking forward to that! Nailed It Stamp Set; Urban Underground DSP; Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Delightful Dijon & Basic Gray Archival Inks; Build It Framelits; Urban Underground Embellishments; #MTS161. Oh wow - cool sketch this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #299! I'm combining it with these juicy colors over at Color Throwdown #421, too! For my three little repeating shapes, I decided to pull out my Totally Trees set, and make them funky colors per the throwdown, lol. I knew this set wouldn't last ({SOB} it's on the Holiday Retiring List) but I just couldn't resist the cute retro look of it! I seem to always gravitate to Here For You for sentiments for it, too - a perfect match! Totally Trees & Here For You Stamp Sets; Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz & Rich Razzleberry CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz & Rich Razzleberry Inks; Petal Burst EF; Black Baker's Twine; Rich Razzleberry Candy Dots (retired.) Here's a "diagonal" layout from Retro Sketch #233 that I think it will look wonderful with Can You Case It #139's rainbow colors, too! I'm also adding in Global Design Project #55's Random Acts of Kindness theme - we can always use more of that! So, we can't have a rainbow without a sparkly silver cloud, right? Don't tell anyone that I let my YNS Puffy Cloud dies out to play, shh... Anyway, I kept the rainbow stripes simple, and added a quick word to my neighbor, who has just lost her furry friend. Hopefully this will help cheer her up! Work of Art & Here For You Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry & Soft Sky (on envelope) Inks; YNS Puffy Cloud Dies; leftover Pastel Sequins. Super fun sketch at this week's Create With Connie & Mary #421! It's going to be even more fun with In{k}spire Me #264's colors thrown in! OK, I actually feel like a bit of a cheater on this one - but it was SO tempting to play with my swirlies that I couldn't help it, lol. I love the pops of bright color against the white, and the touches of Smoky Slate just keep everything contained - I'm such a sucker for dots and swirls... Swirly Bird & Here For You Stamp Sets; A Little Foxy DSP Scrap; Whisper White, Early Espresso & Bermuda Bay CS; Early Espresso, Bermuda Bay & Smoky Slate Inks; Swirly Scribbles Thinlets; Smoky Slate, Early Espresso & Bermuda Bay Candy Dots (retired); PL Corner Rounder Punch.
