Welcome, welcome to another wonderful Blog Hop with the Nachos!  We at Nacho Average Challenge are all SO excited to share with you our ideas and favorites from the 2016 Spring Mini Catalog!  If you scroll down to the bottom of my post, you'll find a full list of our "stops," in case you get lost, otherwise, just keep hopping along!  And please do share your own creations with us back at the blog - we love to see them!
Birthday Breeze
I am so completely thrilled to show you some new cards using the Balloon Celebration stamp set - I don't think it's any secret around here that this is hands-down my FAVORITE set from the catty!  I've been trying to hold myself back so you guys don't get sick of seeing it here so much, lol.  Anyway, I knew I really needed to try my hand at the gorgeous wispy dandelion seeds included - I've been so focused on the balloons!  I wanted to get the cobwebs out and just go for it - so here we are.  I'm slightly worried that it's too

simple - but it's just so perfect, and has so much movement, I couldn't help myself.  A great warm-up, at least!

Citrus Thanks
I still have some elements I haven't touched that I needed to ink up!  What to do with the little wheel-like element, or the little tribal dots?  Go citrus, of course!  I can't lie, these colors are totally inspired by this tasty card from Becky Roberts of Inking Idaho fame!  Juicy!  I had to take those colors out for a spin myself, and this is what I landed on - love this one, too!  The bright colors called out to this
sweet sentiment from Me = Grateful, and I once again got to have a little something to say on the inside, too.  What a perfect match!

Hey there, Nacho fans!  I'm so excited to be part of the "something new" coming out of Nacho Average Challenge - a blog hop that's all about the 2016 Sale-A-Bration!  I hope you'll enjoy your time here, and then hop on through to the other designers - I have a list of links below if you get lost, lol.
Anyway, I decided to feature the beautiful Flowering Fields set, and actually make a few cards, combining it with the Greetings Thinlets, since there's no sentiment with this set.  Those pretty stems are enough, believe me!  I love "outline" botanicals that I can color - it's like they made this set for me, lol.  For my first card, I decided to just indulge my inner coloring gremlin, and line up all the stems I could fit on my card front.  Then I went to town with my Subtles markers.  I decided to float this image over a piece of Wildflower Fields DSP, and then add another pop of color with the thinlet in Blackberry Bliss.  Because you know, green and purple, it's my thing!

For my second card, I again kept it super simple.  The stem on this card is the one I couldnt fit on the first card, so I decided to do an all-over pattern with it, and then color them all in different shades on green.  I chose the "hello" thinlet for this one, and I again layered fiive of them to really add some dimension to the sentiment.  In the end, I added a few rhinestones for a bit of shine.  A quick and gentle card!

For my last idea, I got thinking about how the last sentiment in the Greetings Thinlets, "Cheers," is something we always say in our house when we're toasting, or relaxing, or just getting together for good times.  And everyone has to take a second and go around and clink everyone else's glasses - right?  So I made up a set of tags we can hang on wine bottles, or other drinks, that we'll take along to our newly revived supper club - I so can't wait to get back together with all our friends and families!  Always good times to treasure.  Hopefully these tags will add an extra bit of "cheer" to our fun...
Flowering Fields Stamp Set; Elegant Eggplant, Lost Lagoon, Delightful Dijon & Whisper White CS; Perfect Plum, Pool Party & So Saffron Inks; Greetings Thinlets; Curvy Corner Trio & PL Corner Rounder Punches; 1/4" Grosgrain in Elegant Eggplant; Ruffled Ribbon in Pool Party; Dotted Lace Trim in Delightful Dijon.

If you get lost, here's a full list of all the Nacho players!  Otherwise, just click the arrow below to HOP along!
