These colors combined with the sketch made me think of a link of pretty moths flying up the page, so out had to come my lovely Watercolor Wings - it needed some ink! I did different combos of the PCC colors and wing markings to make my little guys all different, even on the envelope. At the end, I realized the envelope one is my fave, go figure! Funny how some of these combos are almost neon...  This week we are reprising Clean & Simple #26 - let's go for the triple! These rich colors from Global Design Project #97 will be just right, too! So, I really felt called back to my new favorite stamp set, Beautiful Bouquet - I LOVE the wide variety of sentiments and images, combined with lovely detailed framelits - it's like a one-two-three punch! I even loved it when I had to keep all the flowers the same color, lol! I chose the anniversary sentiment because I so rarely have these cards on hand - time to fix that little problem, too!  There's a lovely combo of challenges at Fusion "Hello" this week - make sure you check out the DT cards! I decided to focus on the floral aspect of the sketch, and the hello sentiments, of course - I still have my now-retired Crazy About You bundle that has that nice big "hello" in it! I stacked up 4 of them in Pear Pizzazz for this one. I tried to make my Tranquil Tulips (which look more like crocuses to me today, lol) go up to the top left corner so I could also be taking a stab at the sketch aspect as well - not sure that reads as well as I hoped, but I still LOVE these flowers!  Yes, yes, yes! A no-stamp challenge from Less Is More #338! Can I do it twice in one month?? I think I'll include Color Throwdown #453 for a little help, too! When I think about fancy non-stamping effects, I jump immediately to Eastern Medallions. You can go a little or a lot, and pulling in bright colors is a cinch! After some playing, I also switched my card base to Basic Black - LOVE how these colors pop on the darker background! A quick search through my retired embossing folders turned up Lovely Lace, which I think complements the medallions beautifully - no naked envelopes! This being a Less is More challenge, I ditched the rhinestones, too - restraint being the better part of stampin' valor, lol...
