One of hub's favorite hobbies is totally fishing, so I couldn't resist pulling out my old Gone Fishing suite for this one, lol. Todd gets out there when he can, and tries to take one "big deal" trip with fishin' buddy Kyle once a year - they have so much fun! Anyway, I was so pleased I still have plenty of the Let's Go Fishing DSP, too, so I pulled out the fish sheet - what else?? I set up this landscape layout with a big layered oval for my sentiment. I added some lures, and for good measure, fussy cut a couple fish (there's one on the inside, too, lol) from scraps of the DSP. I love the final layout!  Time for Inspire Create Challenge #211 - "all about the man!" This seemed like a great chance to ink up my still-beloved Trusty Tools bundle! It's been a while! I even still have a good amount of the Trusty Toolbox DSP, so I grabbed that, too! I found this nice Gray Granite washed background sheet, and stamped a stack of tools up the right side directly on the DSP - I slipped in my Dad Day sentiment while I was at it, lol. Then I spotted some of the colored tools sheets in the DSP pack, and I though, hm, I could go for a little fussy cutting, lol, so I snipped out three items and popped those over the stamping! So cute! I also had some Silver Foil hardware bits already cut out in the die sleeve, so those turned into my embellies! Very manly, I think! Today I finally got to get the diecut biplane in action - so fun to choose colors and assemble, AND it fits way better on a card than I thought it would! I did up a split background from the specialty sheets that are meant to be split into separate cool layers, then built my plane from Mossy Meadow and Basic Beige. I tucked in a couple clouds to set the scene, and finished with a few Industrial Trinkets for rivets. So cute! And definitely manly! I pulled my old Everyday Hero set, from 2017, still love this cutie! One of our earlier photopolymers, I love the mix and match options with the various images! I went for a fun layout, too, laying out tiles in a few sizes, and popping them up on dimensionals - it was a real playtime for me today! Blues, bright red, and Crumb Cake - I think these make for good manly colors, lol. I'm so happy with how this came out - I was really flying by the seat of my pants on this one! I need to start using this DSP more anyway, since it carried over to the new catty - not something that happens very often! With all the blue, I felt like this little cluster of fishing lures would be just right, from Just Fishing - still one of my cutest fishing sets ever! I love that all the sentiments fit into the tackle box spaces, too! I remember using these lures and bobber with my Grandpa, they always make me smile to see them! I did one long plank along one side, and then smudged it a bit with a Blender Pen! I also snuck in the very cool Beside Me set - this one has actually been around a while, but it took me a while to come around to it, but it DOES make for great guy cards! I had fun coloring this seaside duo, and figuring out a layout that would fit everything in! Good times! I'm naming my card today after the DSP, because this is ALL about the papers, plus that fun Father's Day sentiment! Two of the sheets have several ready to mount designs and tags, all you have to do is cut them apart! So fun and quick! I was able to put together this whole card front without a single stamp! I had to be really careful to not pile on too much stuff, in fact, lol, I have a TON of tiny little bits and bobs from that die sheet - I limited myself to this trio of coordinating stars! I did stamp INSIDE the card, but I don't think that should count!
