OK, I think I managed something pretty cute indeed, with the help of this chonky bear from Fluffiest Friends - he's a snuggly bear! As soon as I spotted this honey sheet in the Bee Mine DSP pack, I knew it was made to go with this set, too, as well as Bee My Valentine, lol. Bee My Valentine even has the perfect honey sentiment, which totally makes up for there not being any in Fluffiest Friends, in my book, lol. Anyway, I got the hearts in there, and I'm ready for a cuppa now, too, lol. Perfect!  Look at this sweet little sketch we have for you this round at Retro Rubber #224 - so many possibilities! Since all my teamies went with Valentines, I figured I'd just jump on board, lol. I pulled my 2019 Hey Love set for this gorilla, he fits perfectly inside a circle! I added on my sentiment per the sketch, all over our stack Poppy Parade DSP - I almost forgot we have all these hearts! A few Bubble Bath punched hearts to complete the look, and I'm all set! I even put the inside sentiment in there - "I'm APE over you!" I can't wait to see your cute Retro projects with out sketch - meet you at the challenge! I also still had some Sweet Talk DSP left - I think this was from a Valentine's suite from 2022? You could have knocked me over with a feather when I spotted this sheet with red and purple hearts on it! Score! And my stamp set even has a cupid, too, which I HAD to include, lol. Hard to believe I still have these punches, too, shhh! So I covered red, purple, pearls, love sentiment, hearts and cupid - not too shabby! I even did wings and antennae on vellum - trying something new, lol. I finished with a couple of the cute hearts from the Hearts & Flowers embellishments - just so sweet! "You're as sweet as honey" is stamped inside! I haven't gotten a Valentine's set in so long, this is definitely a super cutie! For today's inspiration, I started looking at the picture itself like kind of like a sketch - my attention was really caught by that pink background, the combo of pinks, and the various patterns - stripes AND dots. I figured I'd just pop all that in the blender and see what happened, and this is the result! I did a little torn-edge DSP for my background, and pulled out my Stitched Be Mine dies again for the cute heart, which I also embossed. For a little "pink relief" I heat-embossed the sentiment on black - I should do that more often! Doesn't he look cutie pie in his pink and red?? I laughed the whole time I was making this one, lol. So I pulled out red, pink, sparkle, "romantic" sentiment, lol, hearts and CUTE for this one. So glad I caved and got this one! I think this might be hubby's card this year, lol.
