Here's a fun theme from Farm Quest #80! They want to see "snow sports!" I have a few really nice sled sets, or skates, or even skis - very elegant and realistic. But, I decided, I feel like an ice-skating moose today - he clearly has the grace to conquer it all! I so love the critters in our Christmas Friends set from 2024, I was delighted to pull them out today! I had some fun coloring in my moose, and a couple trees, and then creating a little ice arena for him, too, lol. I kept things fairly simple with this pretty Pool Party background, and finished with a few Lost Lagoon Rainbow Dots. So fun! Christmas Friends Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2024); North Pole Delivery DSP; Basic White, Lost Lagoon & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Real Red, Granny Apple Green & Smoky Slate Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Lost Lagoon Rainbow Dots; #FQ80. Such a cute combo at In{k}spire Me #581 this round - and such nautical colors! So, even though it just retired, I totally had to go for the amazing Sunrise Sailing set - the dies and the embossing folder are just so cool! I started by stamping up this perfect sailboat, and when I went to cut it out, I decided to hybrid emboss it at the same time - SO much dimension! Once I put it on the medallion and arranged the card front, I thought, how cool would it bee to have the embossed setting for that boat on the background, too?? So that's just what I did! I added some watery marks in Balmy Blue beneath the medallion, and a few Night of Navy seagulls, too! I finished with my very last three Balmy Blue Glossy Dots! Sunrise Sailing Stamp Set & Hybrid Dies w EF (retired 2025); Balmy Blue DSP (retired); Basic White, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue & Timid Tiger CS; Night of Navy, Timid Tiger & Azure Afternoon Inks; Stylish Shapes & Stitched Nested Labels (retired) Dies; Balmy Blue Glossy Dots; #IMC581. Inaugural Open Craft, Jan 24, 2 pm Hope you can make our new monthly "open craft" day for 2026! Let's get together and work on our projects, while enjoying time together, and yummy snacks! I'll have a quick make-n-take for you, otherwise, bring your "UFOs" or new ventures, and have a great time in good company! All my tools will be available for your use, and consumables at cost. I'll be there with any help you might need! $5 studio fee per person! RSVP today so I have enough snacks! Very nice - In{k}spire Me #580 has a New Year's challenge! Let's go! So, I've been hearing that this is the Year of the Horse for CHINESE New Year - let's pull that in so we can use the gorgeous Unbridled Beauty again! Look how perfect this horse portrait looks over the New Year's sentiment from last year's Light the Sky set! It was so close in proportion that I stamped it all on one layer, and cut it out with my Deckled Rectangles! I finished with a few clips of the strange Irregular Weave Trim - I'm trying to think of more ways to use this stuff - it doesn't like to be tied, lol. I finished with a few Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems for some pops of color! Unbridled Beauty & Light The Sky (retired 2024) Stamp Sets; Autumn Toile DSP (retired); Basic White & Gray Granite CS; Early Espresso Ink; Blender Pen; Gray Granite Blend Marker; Irregular Weave Trim; Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems; #IMC580. Birthday Cards Class 2026, January 10 at 2 pm! I'm always thrilled to kick off our new year with birthday cards! Gotta re-stock! Class will feature 6 cards with envelopes, all supplies provided and prepped - just bring your own scissors and favorite adhesive, all for $25! Class can also be free with your catalog or online purchase of $30 or more! Class is on for Saturday, January 10 at 2 pm! RSVP today to save your spot! We have some lovely midnight Christmas colors this round at As You See It #363! Since I'm still not ready to stop making Christmas cards, that's the way I leaned for this one, lol. I got to thinking that I could totally make these colors work for my jacketed mice - all cozy for caroling! I think they came out adorable, and I dug out the "jingle bells" sentiment from my old Alpine Adventure stamp set! I tied on some Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim and added some Low Profile Sparkle Dots just because this is what I had in the right color, lol - good thing it's cute! I can't wait to see what YOU do with our wintry colors this round - meet you at the challenge! Caroling Mice (retired 2022) & Alpine Adventure (retired 2018) Stamp Sets; Basic White & Mossy Meadow CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Night of Navy Inks; Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy & Pecan Pie Blends Markers; Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim (retired); Mossy Meadow Low Profile Sparkle Dots; #AYSI363. Christmas Roundup Class Dec 20, 2 pm After all the time off I've taken, I hope you can make it for my last gathering of the year - a little Christmas Roundup! This free "appreciation" class will clean out a last few holiday items I have lingering, and will be a chance for us to gather and share some holiday cheer! I'll also have your Spring Mini Catties for us to oh and ah over! Want to bring some cookies to share? That'd be awesome, and I'll have my own snacks and drinks on hand as well! Christmas Roundup is set for Saturday, December 20 at 2 pm - RSVP to let me know you're coming! Yay! Shopping Our Stash #558 is called "hey, ghoulfriend!" and it's for Halloween! I pulled out all kinds of retired goodies for this one, lol - so fun! I decided to go with Cookie-Cutter Halloween from 2016 for my main image, but then with no sentiment, I pulled out my old Merry Everything set from 2014! This fanged Pumpkin Pie tag seemed perfect with my little vampire, lol. I floated everything over a Halloween plaid from Plaid Tidings - this DSP pack is lasting me forever, and saving my bacon so many ways! I even pieced little Dracul's vest from this, very snazzy and colored in some details with a Pumpkin Pie Blend Marker. I wound on some Black Baker's Twine, and threw on some Monster Bash Enamel Shapes just for good measure! Cookie-Cutter Halloween (retired 2016) & Merry Everything (retired 2014) Stamp Sets; Plaid Tidings (retired); Basic White, Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pumpkin Pie Blend Marker; Cookie Cutter & Note Tag Punches (both retired); Black Baker's Twine; Monster Bash Enamel Shapes; #SOS558. The Male Room #203 is for a BABY boy! I don't have TOO many baby sets, and I have to admit, critter ones are among my favorites, lol. Like this one - I went back to the vault and pulled Bear Hugs to make a quick and cute little bear cub card! Yes, I made my background Pool Party blue, and just for fun I used the DE-boss side with my retired Timber EF. I had two scraps remaining of my favorite retired Pool Party DSP in the folder, too, so I added a little Pool Party plaid detail, lol. Next up came my little bear cub, in my favorite way to stamp him - in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake, then smudged with a Blender Pen - gives him a rumply look! A few Crumb Cake Enamel Dots finish it off! Bear Hugs Stamp Set & Dies (retired 2010); Pool Party DSP (retired); Basic White, Pool Party & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso Ink; Blender Pen; Nested Essentials Dies; Timber EF (retired); Crumb Cake Enamel Dots; #TMR203. Christmas Cards Part 3 Here it is - our last Christmas Card class of the year - except maybe Pumpkin Clubs, lol - there was just too much to celebrate! Class features 6 cards with envelopes, snacks, drinks, and a special gift from me, all for $25! Make sure to RSVP, and come make some merry! Class is ON for Saturday, October 18 at 2 pm! Eek! Check out our spooky fun colors this round at As You See It #357! I was so glad for a chance to ink up my one Halloween set this year, lol, Fright Night! These colors just seemed to lean that way, lol, AND I got to pull in some of the pretty new DSP sheets, too! I pulled the lovely speckled sheets for Timid Tiger, Secret Sea and Cloud Cover (such a brilliant combo!) and added a bright splash of Pumpkin Pie with the little banner! Stamping the Secret Sea directly on the Timid Tiger DSP was so easy, and came out perfectly! A few more Secret Sea details finish things off! I think Secret Sea might be the new Black for me, lol. I can't wait to see YOUR takes on our scary colors - meet you at the challenge! Fright Night Stamp Set & Dies; Cloud Cover, Secret Sea & Timid Tiger DSP; Basic White, Secret Sea & Pumpkin Pie CS; Secret Sea Ink; Secret Sea Faux Linen Ribbon; Secret Sea Flat Pearls; #AYSI357. We have such a fun sketch for you this round at As You See It #356! This struck me as a great sketch for showing off some sweet new DSP, even if only a little, lol. One of the sheets in the GORGEOUS Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP that most catches my eye is this one with all the evergreen elements floating over a background of Secret Sea - so striking! I snipped my three little strips to float over a panel of Old Olive, which I dressed up with some "pine-flakes" in Versamark - I love the watermark look for a softer feel! I did up a cute Tailored Tag for my sentiment, and dug out my LAST three Frosted Finishes embellies to add some sparkle. I think this came out very elegant! I can't wait to see what YOU make of our banded sketch - meet you at the challenge! Delicate Pines Stamp Set; Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP; Basic White & Old Olive CS; Versamark & Old Olive Ink; Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired); Old Olive Linen Thread; Frosted Finishes Embellishments (retired); #AYSI356. Christmas Cards Part 2 September 13! I'm having an extra focus on Christmas this year! Instead of a Fall/Thanksgiving class (we'll hit that in our next Pumpkin Club!) I'm adding an extra Christmas card class so I have room to cover the many gorgeous and amazing Holiday offerings we have this year! Christmas Cards Part 2 will feature 6 cards with envelopes, all from the newly launched Holiday Mini Catalog, or the latest Online Exclusives! Class will also include snacks and drinks, plus, a special gift from me, all for $25! Class is ON for Saturday, September 13 at 2 pm! RSVP now to save your place! Start your engines! Our latest speed challenge at As You See It #355 is LEAVES! This was a tough one - I spotted one of my all-time favorite leaf sets while doing some straitening - Falling For Leaves from 2018. This one is so fun to color! But no time for that in a speed challenge - how about heat embossing OVER colors, if I get everything laid out and ready to go?? I'm game! I set out everything - 3 pieces of colored CS for the leaves, the background for the sentiment, the envelope for some decor. Opened the Versamark and the Early Espresso, then the bin of Gold EP and set the heat gun by it. Laid out the gold sequins and the pop dots. Leaf die waiting on the cutting machine. Fingers crossed, I started the clock! It all went off without a hitch, except for a brief pause to plug the heat gun back in after the puppy woke up and yanked it out of the wall - that totally doesn't count! I almost choked when I realized I would have to trim off some excess leaves, and also shorten the Cajun stem (argh!) But it all worked out - 8 minutes, 39 seconds! Yes! I can't wait to see YOUR speedy creations - meet you at the challenge! Falling For Leaves Stamp Set (retired 2018); Basic White, Basic Beige, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze & Crushed Curry CS; Early Espresso & Versamark Inks; Gold EP; Gold Sequins; #AYSI355. Pumpkin Club August 30! Did you receive your August Paper Pumpkin kit yet? We're off to the farm! Check out the video HERE! Club is free for my subscribers, and includes any extra supplies you might need, plus drinks and snacks! I will also have a few extra spots available for club for $10, even if you are not a subscriber - come see what we're up to - full kit not needed, I'll supply everything you need for the projects! Just bring your own snips and basic adhesive! Remember to subscribe here if you haven't already - sign up by September 10 and you can join us in time for next month! So fun - we'd like to see a theme of picnics this round at As You See It #354! So many fun ideas for this one - and I really broke into the stamp vault to do as many as I could, lol. Of course I had to start with a red checked cloth - 2021's Buffalo Check stamp to the rescue! I got to thinking how funny it would be to add some geometric ants in the white checks, so naturally I had to follow through with 2017's Beetles & Bugs - they fit perfectly! The main theme came straight from 2018's Picnic With You, and I stuck to the picnic essentials: wine, bread and cheese, lol. Doesn't get any better! I can't wait to see what YOU bring along on our picnic - meet you at the challenge! Picnic With You (retired 2018), Beetles & Bugs (retired 2017) & Buffalo Check (retired 2021) Stamp Sets; Basic White & Real Red CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pecan Pie, Garden Green, Crushed Curry & Crumb Cake Inks; Picnic Basket Builder (retired) & Stylish Shapes Dies; #AYSI354.
