We have such a fun sketch this week at Fab Friday #167 - hope you can join us!  I think I'll add in this pretty color challenge from Hand Stamped Sentiments #318, too - I have an idea!
One of the very few flower sets I've gotten so far is the lovely Soft Spring hostess set - I love all the two-step options in this one!  I kept this one clean and simple yet again, with just a few tiny Calypso sequins to add some pops of color, and did a 3-layer sentiment with the Well Written dies - one of my favorite ways to add dimension!  I thought these colors would be just right for these pretty stems, and I really like how it came out!
So, what will YOU create??  I can't wait to see, over at the challenge!
Soft Spring Stamp Set; Petal Pink, Mint Macaron, WHisper White & Calypso Coral CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Mint Macaron & Calypso Coral Ink; Petal Pink Blend; Sprinkles Sequins in Calypso Coral; Well Written Dies; Scallop Edge Border Punch (retired); #FabFri167; #HSS318.

Do you like our FABulous sketch at this week's Fab Friday #137??  I sure do, and it'll be fun to use it for the "speedy grays" challenge over at As You See It #175, too!
So, I knew pretty quickly what set I wanted to use to fill in the "band" shape on our sketch - In The City is so fun!  I pulled out my "stuff" and started the clock.  I quickly realized I had more shades of gray in my older Blendabilities 3-shade set of Smoky Slate, so I started to sweat about hand-coloring instead of two-step stamping, lol.  Then I really started stressing when I realized how much cooler the card would look if I flipped the sketch upside down and fussy-cut my skyline - what a nail biter!  I quick colored up a few pearls and threw those on too, and finished my timer at 8 minutes 35 seconds.  Blazing in gray!  See you over at the challenge - can't wait to see YOUR creations!  (No rushing there, lol...)
In The City Stamp Set; Whisper White, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Smoky Slate Blendabilities (retired); Basic Jewel Pearls; Softly Falling EF; #FabFri137; #AYSI175.

I love this bold mix of colors from this week's Color Throwdown #461!  I think they'll be great for this unusual interlaced layout from Match the Sketch #195!
Looking at the little boxes along the bottom edge of the sketch, I couldn't help but think of the super-fun new Hostess set (my other fave!) In The City.  The set is absolutely gi-NOR-mous - little line drawings of everything, and then a collections of "fill-ins" - no coloring required!  It's a blast to play with especially for color challenges, lol - imagine your neighborhood in all your fave SU! colors - woo hoo!  Threw this card together quick for a new next-door neighbor - off to make them cookies now...
In The City Stamp Set; Whisper White, Vellum & Old Olive CS; Basic Black Archival, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango & Wisteria Wonder Inks; Lucky Stars EF (retired); #CTD461; #MTS195.

I love the offset focus of Case This Sketch #225!  It's going to be so cute in these fresh colors from In{k}spire Me #304!
Hm, what would be a good way to finagle all these colors?  How about a bunch of little buildings?  In The City to the rescue!  This set was SO FUN to play with!  I love line art for coloring in, but the bonus of this set is that pretty much everything has a "fill-in" stamp, too!  60 STAMPS in this one, boys and girls!  Don't be overwhelmed, lol, just make your own Cracker Jack box neighborhood (or neighbourhood, yes, really!)  Fun times...
In The City & Lift Me Up Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, White Craft, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, So Saffron & Bermuda Bay Inks; White EP; #CTS225; #IM304.
