Hi Everyone –
Nope, no card today, BUT, I have added a new subscriber service to my blog, where you can sign yourself up to keep receiving my blog updates! This will allow YOU more control over your subscription. And prevent any spamming of my email list MUCH better! Here’s how it works: Go to my blog page here: http://www.heatherspages.net/handmade-by-heather.html Over on the right, below the picture of me, is an “enter your email address” box. Put in your email, and hit the “subscribe” button. Next, an “Email Subscription Request” box will pop up, and ask you to verify that you’re a live person by entering a verification code. A confirmation email will then be sent to the email address you entered, which you must activate in order for your subscription to continue. That’s all there is to it! I have been maintaining my subscription list manually, and one thing I for sure don’t want, is to send emails to people who don’t really want them anymore. This subscription list will put the control in YOUR hands. All my class announcements and blog updates will continue as usual, you’ll just get them automatically through this service when you subscribe. I will discontinue my manual list in a week or two, so make sure to sign up if you still want to receive my emails! Thanks so much for all your support and love – I look forward to stampin’ with you! I really needed to spend some time with the new Fitting Occasion stamp set - I love to play with sets that have a bunch of little pieces to punch and assemble! So, after surfing the web for a cute card sketch, I came up with this, that also used our Pool Party DSP - fun! Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, Baja Breeze & Summer Starfruit CS & inks; Pool Party DSP; A Fitting Occasion & Fabulous Phrases stamp sets; 1", 1 3/8" & 1 1/2" circle punches; Modern Label punch; Movers & Shapers. I'm still trying to beef up my stock of birthday cards, and I have a few last stamp sets that need to get their ink christening! So today I put together the CASE from the catalog using Daydream Medallions - you totally know that this was the card that made me buy the set to begin with! It's all about the SWEET details - I'm such a sucker for layering! NEWSFLASH: I just received word this morning that the Keep Calm Hostess stamp set is once again available in our catalog - yay! Lucky Limeade, Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie & Daffodil Delight CS & inks; Daydream Medallions, Curly Cute & Take It to Heart (retired) stamp sets; Floral Frames Framelits; Brights Collection button. Here's another sweet card made with Reason to Smile that I had the very great pleasure to make for a friend. I really like two-step stamping! I know it drives some folks crazy, but I love the off-set look of it I get by just eye-balling the second set of stamps... There's still time left to get this set for the $5 special price! Don't miss it! Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry & Whisper White CS; Basic Black, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry & Pumpkin Pie inks; Reason to Smile & Perfectly Penned stamp sets, self-adhesive pearls; sponge daubers. I have been having SO MUCH FUN playing with all the goodies I was able to pre-order for our holiday classes from the upcoming Holiday Mini! I can't wait for you all to get a closer look! Next week's class will kick off our holiday season with a bang - two Christmas cards featuring several new items, plus a quick shadow box insert for our collection to get ready for Back to School! Yay! So, (I hope I can get this right this time) next week's class is scheduled for Thursday evening of July 19, 630 pm. Refreshments and goodies will abound, PLUS I've been adding to the garage sale shelf steadily, so there is plenty more to choose from, all at screamin' deal prices! Out with the old, in with the new! Make sure to RSVP, so I know to cut supplies for you! When I saw the teapot in the From My Heart stamp set, I knew this was another one I was going to HAVE to have - I can never have too many teapots! This is a simple layout, but let me use lots of new toys - from the sweet Finishing Touches edgelit, to one of the doily shapes from Perfect Pennants - they all stack up so nicely! Elegant Eggplant, Baja Breeze & Summer Starfruit CS & inks; Patio Party DSP; From My Heart stamp set; Floral Frames framelit; Finishing Touches edgelit; Bigz L Perfect Pennants die; Orchard ribbon originals set (Clearance Rack.) I had to try my hand at a version of the card shown in the Reason to Smile promo - how cool to make a shell that wraps around the card base! That's how I wanted to try it anyway - and I'm pleased with how it came out. Such fun flowers! Calypso Coral, Pool Party & Very Vanilla CS; Early Espresso, Pool Party Tangerine Tango &Melon Mambo inks; Reason to Smile & curly Cute stamp sets; Scallop Border punch; Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder; hemp twine. Look at the cute new stamp set that's being offered for July's promotion special by Stampin' Up! This set, Reason to Smile, is yours with any purchase of $50 or more for only $5! What a deal! Limit one per customer... Click on the picture to go to a full promo flyer with all the deets! Shop online with me by clicking the shopping basket link on the right. If you like these projects, SU! also put together a little project sheet - sweet! |
