My last demonstrator's magazine "Stampin' Success," featured some over the top cute 3-D flowers created from the about-to-be-released 2011-13 In Colors, that I knew I had to CAS! This old welcome door decoration has been naked for a bit, the old silk flowers in it didn't live long in this crushing AZ sun... Enter...In Color flowers! I really wanted to do something to start working with these new colors - they're so fun! You can see close ups of the individual flowers in my Card Gallery! Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Whisper White CS, Wild Wasabi for the "grass", various button and ribbons, Vintage Wallpaper and Perfect Polka Dots embossing folders, Bigz L Fun Flowers, Bigs XL Flower Folds and Daisies #2 Big Shot Dies, bamboo skewers, floral tape.

Hi All! Just wanted to post the instructions from my class for you real quick! It was a great time, for sure. These directions don't really include directions for decorating the kit (pictured below), I wanted to make them as generic as possible so you could make it in any theme your stamp-y little heart desires! Enjoy!
July 4 Cupcake Kit  I'm so excited for my June class - tomorrow night! Now that school is out, I've really had time to indulge in class planning - from the projects to the yummy goodies we get to share!
This month is something I've been wanting to try for a while (like since I spotted the one in the 2010 catalog to go with the Perfect Settings die!) - a cupcake kit! Since we're getting close to July 4, I figured we'd go with an Independence Day theme, and of course, there has to be a card to go with! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow - and I have room for two more if anyone wants to jump in with us! Alas, while this is 100% SU!, it's almost all retired materials! So sorry! Ruby Red, Blue Bayou and Whisper White CS and inks, Western Sky DSP, two sizes star punches and Star Movers & Shapers, Perfect Setting Big Shot Die, Baker's Twine, Land of the Free Stamp.  I hope everyone has had a chance to check out the retiring (sob!) lists from SU! Catalog transitions are so difficult for me - let's just say I have a hard time letting go! I am certain, though, that we will all love and bond with the wonderful new items that Stampin' Up! has created for us!
So here's a Congrats card for my dear, dear friend Sally, who has landed a new job in a neighboring school district! Oh my sweet friend, we miss you so much, and all your new families are so lucky to have you! I can't wait to come visit your new digs! PS. I had to go back and take a new picture for you all - I added pearls to the butterflies after I took the first picture, duh. What was I thinking, sending out naked butterflies?! I DO know better, really...
