OK, this is a tough one!  Cardz 4 Guyz #292 wants us to celebrate Spring Equinox - help!
I had to go look it up, to see if there were any particular symbols for Spring Equinox I could use, lol.  Besides eggs, the rabbit or hare is also a symbol for Spring.  Excellent, chocolate bunnies all 'round!  Lol.  I actually don't have to many rabbits, and my fave of the bunch was this startled looking fellow from 2017's Basket Bunch - tasty!  I did a little collection of chocolates, using an array of our new Naturals Blends - such a great range!  I once again floated everything over my beloved In Good Taste DSP - so fitting, lol.
Basket Bunch (retired 2017) & A Wish For Everything (inside) Stamp Sets; In Good Taste DSP; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; SU100, SU200, SU300, SU500 & SU600 Blends Markers; Basket Builder (retired) & Stitched So Sweetly Dies; Brushed Metallic Dots; #C4G292.

So pretty - Cupcake Inspirations #540 has some dreamy colors for us this week!
One look at that photo sent me straight to my Simply Succulents set - perfect for these scrumptious cakes - and colors!  I used my Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Petal Pink Blends Markers to color up this large spray of juicies, and set them all on a So Saffron pot,  I love the shape of this sentiment die, too, and I finished off with a few soft sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin - I think they're either Saffron or Vanilla, lol.  It's all just so soft and pretty!
Simply Succulents Stamp Set; Basic White, Petal Pink & So Saffron CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mint Macaron, So Saffron & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Timeworn Type EF; Vanilla Sequins; #CIC540.

Just a Little Toucan

I'm so excited by our scrappy sketch at this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #549!  It's going to be fun to match it with our "groovy" '60's colors at Retro Rubber #179 AND our critter challenge at SU Only #298!
Ugh, this was tough.  I was all set with a current critter set when I caught myself - not for Retro!  What other critter might go well with rainbow-y colors?  Then I spotted 2018's Bird Banter, and I knew I was ok, lol.  I think other toucans would be smitten with my psychedelic guy here, especially on his technicolor scrappy background, lol.  He looks calm enough!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges this round - meet you there!
Bird Banter Stamp Set (retired 2018); Basic White, Basic Black, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green & Melon Mambo CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo & Blackberry Bliss Blends Markers; Peacock Rhinestones (retired); #TSOT549; #RRCB179; #SUOC298.

Oo, very cool combo at this week's Fusion "bookshelf" challenge!
So I know I'm really focused on retired sets this week, lol, but I just CAN'T resist pulling out 2017's Everyday Hero for this one!  I was looking for a good horizontal band image I could use for the sketch, and I spotted this cute row of buildings - so fun!  This ended up being a coloring extravaganza - just what I needed today!  I did a simple Subtle embossed background, and set everything off comic-style in black - so fun!  A few Silver Epoxy Diamonds bring on the "pow!"  lol.  I think this makes a pretty over-the-top thank you!
Everyday Hero Stamp Set (retired 2017); Basic White, Basic Black & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red & Daffodil Delight Inks; Real Red, Night of Navy, Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Cajun Craze & SU900 Blends Markers; Subtle EF (retired); Silver Epoxy Essentials; #FusionBookshelf.

Dragon Wings

"Spread your wings" is the very cool theme this round at Shopping Our Stash #466!  What fun!
I really wanted to do something a little different for this one, so I went digging through my retired papers and came up with this fancy dragon in the old Myths & Magic pack - perfect!  This cloudy paper was in the same pack, which is all part of the Magical Day suite from 2018.  This sparkly guy was a bit of a job to fussy cut - check out all those spikes along his back, lol, but SO worth it!  This is a cute kid's birthday card if ever I saw one!
Magical Day Stamp Set (retired 2018); Myths & Magic DSP; Basic White CS; Bermuda Bay Ink; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Glitter Enamel Dots; #SOS466.

Swirly Cupcake

OK, I'm a dunce!  I totally bookmarked this challenge wrong, so I missed the last challenge!  Fortunately, I figured it out in time to play the MARCH challenge for If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #166 - let's party!
I really loved those bright cupcake cookies - how can I resist?  I broke out my Hello Cupcake set from 2019 and went to town!  This is a Sale-A-Bration set that later had some dies comes out for it - woo hoo!  I have finally used that little cake stand die, lol.  I stuck to the bold colors, and did a nice swirly background to mimic the pretty icing on the cookies - yum!  I think this is going to be a tough fasting day for me, lol!
Hello Cupcake Stamp Set (retired 20109); Basic White & Real Red CS; Pacific Point, Real Red & Daffodil Delight Inks; Layering Circles & Call Me Cupcake (retired) Dies; Parisian Swirl EF; Noble Peacock Rhinestones (retired); #Cookie166.

Speedy Weather

Woo hoo!  It's "time" once again for another speed challenge at As You See It #271 - this time with a theme of "staying dry!"
This was a tough theme for me!  I finally remembered my Weather Together set from 2018, complete with dies - whew!  As I often do, I let some DSP do the heavy coloring lifting today, too - I have SO MUCH of this Sunshine & Rainbows Sale-A-Bration DSP, I knew it was a shoe-in, too, lol.  I don't even remember seeing this cloudy sheet before either - so perfect!  I picked out a sunny sheet for the umbrella, and started the clock!  I started by stamping some light raindrops on the background in Pool Party, then the rest of my stamping in Black.  All I needed to color was the handle - done!  Dash to the cutting machine and boom!  I even had time to dig out some Silver Epoxy raindrops to finish!  7 minutes and 40 seconds!  Yay!
I can't wait to see YOUR speedy creations - meet you there!
Weather Together Stamp Set (retired 2018); Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (retired); Basic White & Bermuda Bay CS; Pool Party & Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Bermuda Bay & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Umbrella Weather Dies (retired); Silver Epoxy Essentials; #AYSI271.

Oo, OK, I'm a bit dazzled by Less Is More #460's "bit of bling" challenge this week - don't get to bring it too often here!
For my bit of bling, I decided I wanted to play with my long-neglected Rainbow Glimmer paper.  This leaf die from the Artistic Dies is one of my faves, and I thought it could look pretty cool with some sparkle thrown in, too!  A simple thanks from the accompanying stamp set is the perfect sentiment to go with, and at the last second I added three tiny green rhinestones from our old Peacock collection, too.  I think my bling is still VERY tasteful, lol.
Artistically Inked Stamp Set; Rainbow Glimmer & Basic White CS; Granny Apple Green Ink; Artistic Dies; Noble Peacock Rhinestones (retired); #LIM460.

Hip Hippo Birthday

This should be fun!  I can JUST sneak in to Time Out Challenges #209!
So when I think cute, I instantly think critters, lol, I just can't help it.  I love them so much, I even do a critter class every year for my peeps, and at this point, I could probably do it twice and still have stamps left over!  For today's dose of cuteness, I went back to Hippo Happiness, and did up my hippos in bright birthday colors.  For some extra splash, I made some "pools" with our Layering Diorama dies - I need to start using these more, too!
Hippo Happiness Stamp Set; Basic White & Coastal Cabana CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Coastal Cabana, Fresh Freesia, Granny Apple Green & Mango Melody (envelope) Inks; Layering Diorama & Hippo & Friends Dies; Coastal Cabana Resin Dots (retired); #TOC209.

Peachy Birds

We have a fun "mix-up" challenge this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #548!  I think it will go great with our Spring inspiration board at Hand Stamped Sentiments #385, too!
I started with our inspiration board, and quickly focused on the little bird in the nest.  I've been wanting to use my Free As a Bird set more lately - we've had it for a bit, and this is the time of year I start looking over my shelves and wondering what will retire soon, lol.  I'll miss this one if it goes - I love the gorgeous natural images it has!  I also recently realized I haven't used the gorgeous You're a Peach DSP much at all, and this seemed like a pretty fit with my birds.  I actually reminds me of the pretty DSP that was originally released with the birds, lol.  The sketch was just right for featuring all my favorite things!
I hope you have time to play along this week at these challenges - I can't wait to see your projects!
Free As a Bird Stamp Set; You're a Peach DSP; Basic White & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Pale Papaya, Mango Melody, SU600 & SU800 Blends Markers; Ornate Frames Dies; Linen Thread; Elegant Faceted Gems; #TSOT548; #HSS385.
