I can't help it - today's Case This Sketch #206 really makes me giggle! So funny! I'm adding in this lovely spring color challenge from Sunday Stamps #145, too! As soon as I saw that tilty line on the sketch, I knew this was my chance to roll out my beloved Tasty Truck set, lol. We will conquer the cupcake mountain!! I had some fun coloring my little truck with this fun palette, and also decided to feature the Always Artichoke - not a color I use a whole lot. I I had to dig out some older Artichoke details to do it, but I LOVE the results! Tasty Trucks Stamp Set; Always Artichoke DSP 2010-13 Stack (retired); Whisper White & Always Artichoke CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Always Artichoke, Calypso Coral, Tip Top Taupe, Wisteria Wonder & Blushing Bride Inks; Decorative Dots EF (retired); Always Artichoke Candy Dots (retired); #CTS206; #SSC145.

Today's wonderful sketch is from In{k}spire Me #285! I'm combining it with What Will You Stamp #101 - Sealed With Love! The layout is perfect for showing off some DSP from this gorgeous suite - I tried to choose carefully so that my stamped elements wouldn't get totally lost, lol. I had to put together another one of those tiny envelopes, of course, and today I did a little insert for it - SMMMMAK! I crack myself up. I think it would be pretty funny to send a little note that was just kisses, don't you? That lead directly to my silly sentiment, and runaway kisses. Love in the air! Sealed With Love Stamp Set; Sending Love DSP; Whisper White & Basic Black CS; Real Red Ink; Love Notes Framelits; Sending Love Embellishments; #IM285; #WWYS101. I love this fun layout from Match the Sketch #161 - so much movement! Sorry about that post title, lol, but well, I lifted it right our of my sentiment! I really was excited about using my awesome new Nailed It bundle (matching framelits - YES!) but somehow the first card I made with it was this "sorry" card, lol. Pretty funny all round. I decided to add a color to the suites palette, too - I love the look of Cherry Cobbler with Delightful Dijon, and the little ruler thinlit in the dies was pretty much made just for that sketch element! Whenever I need to send a "sorry" note, I'll have this one ready to go, lol. Now I'm actually looking forward to that! Nailed It Stamp Set; Urban Underground DSP; Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Delightful Dijon & Basic Gray Archival Inks; Build It Framelits; Urban Underground Embellishments; #MTS161. I love the idea of a little cluster of shapes on this week's Freshly Made Sketch #272! Fun! I think it will look awesome in these bright colors from Create With Connie & Mary #442! After browsing my stamp collection for a bit, I decided I wanted to finally ink up Dragonfly Dreams - time to dip in my toes! I wanted to see what some bright pretty wings might look like - but I'm not convinced this was the color challenge to try it on, lol. I like the look of the colors the more time goes by - I'm hampered because I don't work in these brights too much! I think I at least have a sense of movement and energy... Dragonfly Dreams & Sunshine Sayings Stamp Sets; Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Whisper White & Pacific Point CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Emerald Envy & Pacific Point Inks; Detailed Dragonflies Thinlits; Layering Circles Framelits; Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon; Silver Enamel Shapes; #FMS272; #CCMC442. I love the big bold circle on this week's sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #306! I'm adding a new challenge for me, too - SU Only #166 calls for any kind of embossing! No prob! I think I have JUST enough time to sneak it in! OK, I'm jonesing a little for better weather. I've been really spoiled here in AZ, sunny days just about constantly, perfect mild winters, no bugs, awesome food, the list goes on! But when I get more than three cloudy days strung together, my happy disposition struggles, lol. We have been hit by the longest and most consistent overcast I have ever seen here. I think we're on 3 weeks now! Argh! Sonoran Sun, take me away! This pretty forest card is a tribute to fresh summers up on the Rim - hurry up, better weather! I need you! Thoughtful Branches (retired?) & Thoughtful Banners Stamp Sets; Into The Woods DSP (retired); Whisper White, Old Olive & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso & Old Olive Inks; Stitched Shapes Framelits; Beautiful Branches Thinlits; Woodgrain EF; #TSOT306; #SUO166. Oh yum - check out the tasty inspiration pic at this week's Merry Monday #232! Cooookies... Lol. I think this week's sketch at Stamp Ink Paper #83 will be perfect! I totally ran back to the retired Nice Cuppa to put this one together - how could I resist? And this yummy and gorgeous sheet from Candy Cane Lane made the perfect background, too! I swear since I've been trying to rein in my holiday eating lately, more and more of my cards seem food related, lol. Vicarious snacking, lol! A Nice Cuppa (retired), Balloon Celebration & Holly Jolly Greetings Stamps Sets; Candy Cane Lane DSP; Whisper White, Crumb Cake & Real Red CS; Crumb Cake, Early Espresso & Real Red Inks; Cups & Kettle Framelits (retired); Seaside EF; Real Red Enamel Shapes; #MM232; #SIP83. OK, I'm super excited about this week's Global Design Project #71 - we're going 3-D! To make it even more fun, I'm combining it with What Will You Stamp #100 (woot! woot! 100!), who is appropriately celebrating Number of Years for this challenge - sweet! For today's offering, I knew I wanted to use a thinlit set I've had for over a year without using - CRAZY! But today's the day! I made my Cutie Pie plain white so I could stamp some of the two-step flower sprays from the stamp set - so fun! I couldn't resist adding the "again" to the birthday wishes - we can still joke about it in my circle, lol. Of course, the coveted but seasonal Trader Jacques Fleur de Sel Caramels always help... And go great with Chardonnay! Lol! Number of Years Stamp Set; Whisper White & Calypso Coral CS; Pear Pizzazz & Calypso Coral Inks; Calypso Coral Baker's Twine; Cutie Pie Thinlits; Layering Circles Framelits; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #GDP071; #WWYS100. I'm matching it up with Case This Sketch #205! As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew this was my chance to try brayering my lovely SAB Inside the Lines DSP! There's a sample showing a go at it in the little SAB catty, and I couldn't stop thinking about it, lol. I think this color scheme is right up my alley for it, too - so happy with how this came out! So here's the first of my approximately 5 cards a year that have NO stampin - yay for sponge brayers! Inside The Lines DSP (SAB 2017); Whisper White, Silver Foil, Marina Mist & Wisteria Wonder CS; Wisteria Wonder & Marina Mist Inks; Sponge Brayer; White Uniball Gel Pen; Greetings Thinlits; Silver Sequins; #CYCI145; #CTS205. Lots of elements to play with this week at Create With Connie & Mary #441! I'm also adding in TGIF #91's Love theme! So, I feel like I just used my beloved Foxy Friends, but this sketch seems like such a great chance to really mix it up with the DSP, I couldn't resist that combo, lol. I also spent some time browsing my "off-beat" sets for a love sentiment I hadn't used recently, and landed on this 2-part one from Scenic Sayings, which I think I've NEVER used - score! In the end, I'm always delighted by how well coordinated this suite is, makes it so easy to really bring the "wow," this time, with snuggles, too, lol. Foxy Friends & Scenic Sayings Stamp Sets; A Little Foxy DSP; Pool Party, Whisper White & Calypso Coral CS; Calypso Coral, Memento Tuxedo Black & Smoky Slate Inks; PL Corner Rounder Punch; Happy Heart EF; Calypso Coral Candy Dots; #CCMC441; #TGIF91. Love this landscape layout at Match the Sketch #160! I think it'll look great in In{k}spire Me #284's colors, too, but these colors are an especial challenge to me, because I think they're inspired by a DSP I didn't get, lol. I do like it, really, I'm just so off Very Vanilla these days - I feel like I had vanilla overload on DSP this past year! I only had one combo that used vanilla as its neutral - By the Shore, so this entire card took off from the one sheet I pulled from that. But hey, there's balloons at the shore, right? Well, there COULD be, lol... Lift Me Up Stamp Set; By the Shore DSP; Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla & Sweet Sugarplum CS; Sahara Sand, Sweet Sugarplum & Soft Sky Inks; Up & Away Thinlits; Cloudy Day EF (retired); Sahara Sand Candy Dots (retired); #MTS160; #IM284.
