We're closing out October with a fill in the blank challenge at As You See It #286 - "The spookiest thing on Halloween is always..."
In my neighborhood, the spookiest thing on Halloween is the Haunted House some of our neighbors put together every year! They go all out, and it starts at the curb and goes all through the house to the back yard! Always so much fun - they must also have the spookiest storage unit ever, lol. Anyway, today's card celebrates their all-new scary fencing and gravestones in the front yard - I can't wait to see what's inside!

Birthday Puffin

So excited to play one of my favorite themes at this round's Make My Monday #185 - birthday!
I decided to start today's card by having a browse through my critter category. The Party Puffins haven't been out in far too long! I had some fun doing a color feature of Starry Sky, too - I love it when we get EVERYTHING in our In Colors, lol. Anyway, I had to do up the hat, the cake frosting - even the fish ribbon got the Starry Sky treatment, lol. Such a fun party!

Wildflower Birthday

The Flower Challenge #73 would like us to make sure we use a sentiment this round - no problem!
I knew for sure I wanted to make a birthday card - because TFC is celebrating a big one - 6 years! What a great milestone! I pulled out Wildflower Path - such a great set - I call this one my sleeper favorite for this year - it's SO versatile! I couldn't resist some big Blackberry Bliss flowers for this one, and finished off with some Brushed Brass Butterflies - a perfect Spring day!

We've got a fun Fall Farm theme going at this round's Hand Stamped Sentiments #400! So much scope for our sketch at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #578, too!
I went back to my 2020 Colorful Seasons bundle for this cutie - I still so love the little chairs and perfect dies in this set! I kept things on task with the gorgeous maple leaves - now THAT is some Fall color! This is one thing I miss seeing here in Arizona - there's a bit of color up on the Rim, but not what I remember from my Virginia days, lol.

This should be fun - clean and simple for The Male Room #167 this round!
A set I haven't played with in a bit is the lovely Lighthouse Point - perfect for a guy! I did this simple lighthouse standing tall on some rocks, and the perfect simple sentiment to go with. This sucker really is a bit of a challenge to line up, lol - took me several tries to get something I could live with! I decided that splash of "light" color was just right to draw the eye, too... I'm all stamps, ink and paper today!

Love our banner sketch this round at Sunday Stamps #294!
This wide open layout just cried out for a suite feature, lol, so I ran to my Sweet Candy Canes to oblige! I got to play with several DSP patterns from the coordinating Sweetest Christmas pack, and even scrounged up some old Garden Green Glitter Dots to go with! I love these candy canes and dies so much - it has everything we need!

Super cute theme this round at Cardz 4 Guyz #306 - teddy bears!
I have several BEARS in my stamps, but turns out I only have ONE actual teddy bear, lol. I pulled this cutie out of my old Baby Bundle set from 2011 - still my fave baby set! I kept this card super simple, with a pretty Pool Party Timber background, and a cute baby shower tag on top. I really love the look of this! Hopefully I get invited to a baby shower soon, lol...

Ah ha, what a cutie we have at this month's Once Upon a Time #3 - The Monster at the End of This Book!
I actually don't know this book, but who doesn't love Grover?? In honor of him (his book after all, lol) I think I'll do a yeti in Grover colors! That's a monster, right? I decided to do a simple doorway behind him from our new sneak peek, Warm Welcome - he's busting in to a birthday party! I'm so thrilled with the special dies we released - I got to try this cute scarf on him, too, lol. I also had fun with my sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Yeti or Not set - I got it just to coordinate with our Yeti to Party!

Time for another round at NBUS #43! I ALWAYS have something I haven't used yet on my desk, lol...
Today's winner is the Handmade Wishes bundle - this cute set is chock full of buildable end-of-year holiday sentiments (ooo, and Valentine's, too, I just realized) that fit inside a fun new punch! This bundle will be in my Holiday Gifts & Packaging class next month for sure! Anyway, it was really all about the Handmade Tag punch for me today - could it make a cute sentiment for a card front, too? Absolutely! I did a super simple layout that will be easy to make in ALL papers! I foresee thinning my retired DSP with this cutie, though I used my all-time fave sheet from our Celebrate Everything pack today. Love this color scheme, too!

They have some super cute Halloween cookies to inspire us over at this month's If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #173!
All these characters together reminded me of our spooky set from 2019, Spooktacular Bash. I'll be honest - my favorite thing about this set was the awesome Ornate Frames Dies, lol - I still use these cuties! I decided to build a portrait gallery of friends together - and the perfect sentiment to go with, lol. I only added a touch of color - couldn't resist, with these fun cookies!
