Thank goodness, Less Is More #447 is going easier on us this week with a Christmas in July theme! Yes!
Which means I get to finally ink up my Tidings & Trimmings stamp set! Such a fun mix of images and dies, plus the DSP is just gorgeous! I did a little more than less today, lol, had to sneak in a little strip of that DSP, and do this snazzy star to go with, with this pretty contrasting sentiment. Just a quick little layout!

Bright Baubles

Our sketch looks all buttoned up this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #516! I think it will go great with our Christmas in July theme at this week's SU Only #280, too!
Today I have another upcoming set to show off - this one is called Bright Baubles, and features two over-size ornaments to riff off of. Wait til you see the dies for it! As usual when I debut a set, I went with a simpler approach, with lots of coloring, lol, and also added in a sheet of our upcoming SAB paper, Peaceful Prints. So many goodies ahead! I finished off my ornament with lots of tiny rhinestones for a little flash...

What a great landscape sketch we have this week at As You See It #254!
And what a great chance to play with new Christmas toys, lol! Today I'm showing off the new Sweet Little Stockings suite, a stamp collection of various stockings and critters (yay!), along with the cutest DSP ever! I chose this pretty light string sheet for my background today, but there are so many sweet choices to choose from! I had to start off with the puppy today, because, well, I DO have 3 dogs snoring away under every table in my craft room right now, soooo... Not that any of them would fit in a stocking!

Frosted Gingerbread

Hm, these colors might be tough for me this week at In{k}spire Me #453! What a crazy combo!
But, you know, holiday pre-order, so... Let's make it a Christmas card! Here's a sneak peek of Frosted Gingerbread, which comes with really sweet dies, too - like the two part fancy cookies I made for today's challenge! I'm actually super-stoked at how this came out, I just wasn't sure it would really work. I think it totally did! I tried to at least use the layout of the sketch, not sure how similar THAT looks either, lol, but who knew these colors could say "Christmas!"?

Wow, such an unusual combo at this week's Fusion "Blue Decor" challenge!
I couldn't resist trotting out another new holiday set - I see Christmas everywhere this month, lol! Today's sneak peek is with Penguin Place - it's the cutest! It even has a Penguin Builder Punch to go with - so sweet! I'm also giving you a tiny look at an upcoming Sale-A-Bration DSP that goes with our new penguins, called Penguin Playmates. This just happens to be one of the pattern sheets to go with my Fusion Blues color scheme - I'll leave the rest of the cuteness implied by the name to your imagination! OK, The Male Room # 152 has a fun challenge for us - Christmas in July, man-style! This should be interesting, lol.
Lucky for me, my holiday pre-order is here and ready for inking! Let's take a peek at the new cuter-than-cute Joyful Life set, which has three adorable critter images. It's this pig that really grabbed my eye, lol, and with the return of our awesome Heartwarming Hugs DSP, I couldn't resist my "Hog Hugs" blog post title, lol. I have to also say, I'm really loving our Pale Papaya blends markers for a flesh tone - works great on my little porker here! I think he makes for a perfect guy Christmas card!

Oo, look at this fun sketch that Retro Rubber #162 has for us this week! Love it!
Now, I think everyone who knows me knows how much I love my shelves of retirement, lol. A quick glance at my blog history shows that I often approach HALF my blog posts being with retired stamps or toys, lol. So I have a sincere delight in this particular challenge blog (no, I'm NOT sucking up, I swear!) BUT, there's one day a year that I feel a little pang playing here, like I did today. And that would be the VERY DAY that my holiday catty pre-order arrives, lol. Not for the Annual, not for the Spring Mini, JUST for the Holiday Mini, lol. I'm such a Christmas nerd! So I consoled myself with at least the new Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP, which goes GREAT with my beloved 'stache-y Santa. Whew, consolation achieved!

CAS Poinsettia

Excellent - CAS Christmas has a poinsettia challenge for us this month!
Lucky for me, I even have a still-current stamp set to use in our gorgeous Poinsettia Petals! At first, I went to town, and made all these layered stacks of petal shapes, colored 'em up, added leaves - and then, I remembered! This is a CAS challenge, oops! So now I have various size ready-made flowers in my stamp box, and I pared back to one nice, that hopefully is CAS enough for going on with, lol. Now that I look at it, I should have gone with a smaller one probably, lol. Oh well, I still love the brushy look of my coloring - my grandma's fave kind were the peppermint stripe ones, and that's what I was going for!

Winter Night

Eee! We're going to Bendi Town this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #515! I love this fold!
Today's challenge gave me chance to play with an idea I've been kicking around ever since our 21-22 Catalog came out - could I make a bendi with the gorgeous dies from Inspiring Canopy? What you see is the result of my tinkering! It was a bit of a wing and a prayer figuring out how to work the slots in to for the tiny tabs, not to mention the clean-up on a partially cut tree-scape, as I tried to figure out how to make the ground below the trees "wider," lol. What a job! I promise, the sentiment is very visible in person, it's just that the final challenge here was photographing this one! Whew! I can't wait to see YOUR bendi projects this week - meet you at the challenge!

OK, Addicted to CAS # 201 is speaking my love language this week, lol - Christmas!
What a perfect time to ink up my new Christmas set from our still-shiny catty - here's a peek at Evergreen Elegance! Now, this one can come bundled with an amazing evergreen border punch, but I held back on that for the CAS, lol. But you do get a little taste of the gorgeous sentiments that come with it - not just another tree set at all! I love the simple sincerity that shines through here, and I couldn't resist a few tiny stars from last year's All The Trimmings embellies, instead of the sweet stars in the stamp set, shhh...
