 So pretty - Color Hues Challenge #142 is bringing in some fiery Fall colors for us this round! I wanted to do some leaves and organics, and I set out to choose a stamp set. When I spotted the just-released Notes of Collage, I realized this was an awesome chance to try it out in a totally different color way than its DSP! I layered in Cherry Cobbler and Crushed Curry in a few ways, starting with a Cherry Cobbler border, then stamped squiggles in Crushed Curry. Next came a panel of the diecut hatches, my favorite die, lol, and then a stamped layer of the larger leaves, and a finishing sprig delicate diecut leaves. It does come out very organic, even in these colors! I popped on a few tiny Earthy Matte Dots in Cherry Cobbler to finish!  Yum! Time Out Challenge #323 is a harvest-y "pick 2" challenge - and there's some great choices! Well, this challenge let me know that I need a good harvest basket set - I have a found a gap in my library! Lol. After figuring that out, I decided to pull out the Apple Harvest bundle from 2024 - I think I had it out fairly recently before, too! I matched it with this strip of heat-foiled Buffalo Check on Crushed Curry for "gingham," too - I have "picked two!" I set up some nice layered Textured Notes for the background, and to set off my "gingham", and then stamped and colored this sweet apple branch with Blends - I think I did a little better with the shading than usual, too, lol. I also found 3 lonely adhesive red sequins, I think leftover from some kit, floating around on my desk - so I thriftily popped those on, too! Such a sweet theme at Papercraft Challenge #134 - "cozy autumn!" I wanted another crack at the August Product of the Month DSP, Glow of Harvest - I still have quite a bit left! It has such a pretty shimmer, and all in a celebration of Fall! I floated this acorn panel over some Early Espresso, and fussy cut one of the flower clusters from another sheet. Over this I placed the simple large acorn from the Thanks & Giving set, so I could also use this fun Thanksgiving sentiment, lol. I adhered all this over an Espresso Stylish circle, and squeezed on some Espresso Neutrals Jute Twine. This is fairly heavy, but a single strand seemed to work OK! I finished with some Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty! Very nice - SU Only #411 has a lovely landscape sketch for us this round! I felt like this one could be all about the paper, so I scanned my stash and landed on the tasty Homemade Sweetness DSP pack. So many goodies in this suite! I came up with this preserves and hearts combo for my basic layout, and then piled on the preserves and the fruit. I thought I'd use the awesome jar instead, but it was too big - argh! I think the final result is a bit busy, lol, but I just couldn't seem to stop - I think I must be hungry, lol. At the last second, I realized I had some berries already cut out, too, so on they went, sigh. Definitely getting my five a day here! Yes! All my favorite stampin' stuff featured on one card! I started with this lovely Pool Party check sheet for the background, then added a BUNCH of pumpkins also cut from the DSP with the dies. I tucked in some die-cut leaves around them, too, in Soft Sea Foam, which I think is a great coordinating color for this suite! Next I popped up my sentiment, with a scrap of the Calypso Coral Bordered Ribbon folded behind it, and finished with some Secret Sea Radiant Gems. Another beauty! How could I do a few items, and still make it all work? Enter the trusty Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die once again! This time, I went straight for a spooky plaid from my old Plaid Tidings DSP pack, and layered this over Pumpkin Pie to try to emphasize the cut lines. Next I took a little memory trip through my punch drawers - I found so many goodies there! I only pulled in some additional dies at the very end! I also decided to use this "Boo" die and make this card stamp-free - I don't do this very often either, lol. So fun! Flipping through my bin of current stamp sets, I came across my Playful Packaging bundle - check out that cool hatchwork square! I'm sold, lol. I decided to go fairly colorful, and stamped it four times in my chosen colors on little cardstock squares to match - so cute, lol. I totally pulled out Thanks Man again for my sentiment, too! I quickly went with a Basic Beige background for all those brights, then at the last second I decided to emboss with the Forever Plaid EF for a little extra geometry, lol. After settling on my layout, I stacked my sentiments to the left, and threw on a few Azure Afternoon Dots to match! I can't wait to see YOUR geometric projects, too - meet you at the challenge! We're in a Fall mood over at Retro Rubber #282, lol. Let's see some pumpkins, leaves or trees! I decided to go with pumpkins, and pulled out Pretty Pumpkins for a look after I put Painted Harvest away yesterday, lol. I have always loved this fancy printed pumpkin, and today I went for a trio of them! I stamped in Early Espresso, and then colored them with blends, inspired by the colors in our current Painted Patch DSP - I love this stuff so much! Rather then actually use it, though, I finally broke in the Rustic Check EF that goes with that suite, on Pool Party. With great trepidation, I decided to smudge it up a little with a little Early Espresso spot, too, to really pull out that texture. I think it actually worked out - woo! After choosing my background sheet, I cut a circle with the Stylish Shapes dies for the layered wreath stamp, and stamped it up with Cajun Craze over Golden Glow, and an Early Espresso center. I used Basic Beige for my neutral this time, too - the colors look so interesting over it! I overlapped with my favorite sentiment, and then tucked in some 2-step leaves between for extra detail - just right! The dark Pressed Flower Motifs seemed like a good embellie for this one, too! I have to admit, these colors seem just made for our new Sunflowers Fields DSP, lol, so I totally had to pull out the whole Radiant Sunflowers suite! I wanted to focus on Old Olive, Cajun Craze & Daffodil Delight, so I pulled this floral sheet that had touches of Cajun Craze, too! I stamped the pretty spray of flowers in the stamp set, and a couple extra leaves, to color with my Blends Markers, then went with this "Thinking of You" sentiment for the tag die that comes with the set, too. I think it looks pretty sweet all arranged! A few green Radiant Gems finish things off! I can't wait to see YOUR projects in our colors this round - meet you at the challenge!
