Here we go, time for a "one-layer" card for Less Is More #429 - on the theme word "cheers!"
I really couldn't resist going back to my Mixed Drinks set from 2018 - so many little fun pieces for building just the cocktail you're dreaming of - and perfect for a one-layer card, lol. I can't seem to stay away from tropical treats these days, so I went with two big foo-foo drinks, complete with fruit, umbrella, and a little ice, lol. Such a cutie, and I exercised an iron will to keep it super CAS - whew!

Oo, I love this week's theme at As You See It #235 - stitching or sewing!
I have been collecting as many stitched dies as I can find like a fury, lol. Love them so much! I always forget I have these in the cuties that come from the Tasteful Labels set - the ones that bundle with Tasteful Textures, and that gorgeous In Good Taste DSP. For whatever reason, I don't use the dies as much, even this cute little stitched banner! Pfft! I matched it today with a couple pretty stems from Forever Fern, and the pretty "Hello" from that set. I floated everything over this gorgeous planking sheet from the DSP pack - just love the whole finished rustic look!

I love the layout this week at our Try Stampin' on Tuesday #478 - don't you want to play along?
We have a spooky theme going as well, so let's just go hunting to see how much of my old Monster Bash Suite I can find, lol. Stamp set? Check! DSP? Check! Dies? Check! Embellies? Check, check! I really went all out on this one, lol. I had enough scraps to piece together our sketch, and then I pulled in my fave image from this set, the scary jars. I felt like this dare of a sentiment was perfect!

Hm, Time Out Challenge #171 sure has a fun word play to inspire us this week, lol.
I'm heading to the vault for one of my fave champagne sentiments, from Balloon Celebrations! This set was so awesome, with the fun balloon punch, but for me, it was really all about the mix and match drink sentiments! Tea? Coffee? Hot chocolate? Yes, please! I also matched it with my fave champagne flutes from Making Spirits Bright - I can hear the little "clink" now!

I'm loving our beautiful harvest colors this week at Sunday Stamps #241! I sure hope you can play along!
With colors like these, I knew I wanted to go Fall, and I'm still not over Love of Leaves yet, lol. But how about a snazzy plaid backdrop? Oh yeah, I can bury a lot of colors there! I'm getting better at assembling my plaid now, too - Snail is saving my bacon on this one, I'm not all over glue for the first time on this one!

Ooo, The Sisterhood of Crafters is having an "anything but a sketch" challenge - what to do??
Well, something I DO start doing this time of year is looking for chances to start building up my holiday tag stockpile, lol, excellent! For some reason, I've been wanting to play with our retired Smitten Mittens set a lot lately, too, so I'm just going to all-out indulge myself here! I stamped this gorgeous mitten with the cutest sentiment ever on the fold, in four holiday colors. I went ahead and hand-trimmed these so I could keep that little smidge of fold at the top where I wanted. I put a little "To/From" on the inside, hung a little twine on a corner, then finished with a simple ribbon tie along the top to help hide that fold! Quick and simple, but super cute - these are going to really dress up some pretty presents this year!

Love this slanty sketch from Inspire Create Challenge #078!
With such a lovely open sketch, I couldn't resist going in the direction of showing off some pretty DSP - and I haven't used the gorgeous Forever Greenery in a bit! I had just enough of my favorite sheet to add a little bit to the card front and envelope, leaving plenty of space for some extra leafy images and this sweet sentiment. A few Gilded Gems finishes it all off! Quick and pretty, just how we like 'em around here!

Super excited to launch our "vintage Christmas" challenge at Sparkles #117 today - hope YOU can join us!

Woo hoo! Time for another "anything goes" challenge over at Retro Rubber #144!
Today, I finally settled on 2009's The More the Merrier. I almost always go for the cute snow-dudes in this one, or the fancy cupcakes, but these cute jack o' lanterns leapt out at me this time! Just started watching my seasonal round of Halloween shows yesterday on Food Network, and I kind of have pumpkin on the brain, now! I felt like fussy cutting, too, so I colored them all in, did the deed, and floated them all over a layer of Basic Black - they're jumping off the card! Such a fun Halloween warm-up, ahh, it's almost spooky time!

It's all about the banner this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #477! I can't wait to match it up with our bright colors at SU Only #259, too!
I'm super psyched that our secondary theme at TSOT this week was coloring, because I had a BLAST water-painting my little ocean scene! Our lovely bright colors at SUO made me think of the ocean and tropics, and I just couldn't resist a little dream of a Maui escape, lol. Still on my mind, and this right here is one of my favorite activities - loafing hard, island style! Gettin' the toes wet, enjoying the view, with a frosty fruity drink beside me - ahhhhh! Can't wait - one day!
