![]() OK, I'm not too proud to admit that this month's class treat was totally from a kit! While at Convention 2013, I was SO lucky to receive one of the Simply Created Real Red Goodie Gear kits - it was just too tempting to not save it to share with you all at our card class! The kit is amazing - 10 little treat bags, 10 little Crumb Cake tags (smaller than the Chalk Talk tag, fyi), 10 little Island Indigo Baker's Twine ties, beaucoup Real Red stripey tape, and 10 die cut little banners ready for stamping, along with the adorable Oh Goodie stamp set. 15 minutes and a bag of kisses later, we were all set! These kits are a screaming sweet deal! Here are tonight's Christmas in August class instructions as well! ![]() Ahhh, the DSP stash is starting to go down - whew! Thank you to everyone who pitched in, and now has a LOVELY wreath to show for it, too, giggle! Here's a quick picture of Brenda Quintana's glorious Hershey Stars I made for our gifts - helps make up for the funky dessert, oops! Might need to run get cookies for today's day class, lol! Here is tonight's class sheet for your fil - enjoy! And make sure you mark your calendar for Thursday July 25, for my post-convention Open House - goody bags, treats, pictures and swaps - it'll be a fun night! No class (so FREE!), just lots to see and be inspired by! (And PRESENTS!) This is your chance to weigh in on future class projects, too - I can't wait to share all the creativity I know I'll see in Salt Lake City! ![]() Besides a fun "Dude" class in honor of Father's Day, and of course, yummy snacks and loving fellowship, the most exciting thing about tonight's class is that I finally got to hand out our new 2013-14 Idea Book & Catalog! As usual, I also made a bookmark sampler of the new In Colors - Yummy! I even like the NAMES this year - Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana! I took the opportunity to showcase one of my favorite suites from the new catty too: Mosaic Madness, along with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder and the Mosaic punch. Stampin' Up! really thought of everything! (Psst! You can find a discount-priced bundle of the stamp set and the punch on page 123! Yay for product bundles!) Here are tonight's class instructions as well - enjoy! ![]() WHAT a fabulous, fun and sweet time at the Baby Shower! Having one for twins just makes for twice the nice! The treats were SO awesome (there was even a gluten-free cookie, so I got to have COOKIES!) and all the presents were so filled with love... I love my parish! As promised, here's the tutorial for these little onesie favors - enjoy! ![]() I had a little quest this month looking for candy that had an orange wrapper that looked like it might go with Tangerine Tango - Jer's Squares wins! These cute summer dresses rounded out our girlie Mother's Day classes - time to put some jeans on, whew! I made these just like the ones I made here, where you can find some quick instructions. And here are the class instructions - enjoy! Tiny Tags stamp set; Lucky Limeade CS; Floral District DSP; Ovals Collection & Dressed Up framelits; Tangerine Tango & Lucy Limeade inks; Delicate Designs embossing folder; 1/4" satin ribbon in Tangerine Tango. ![]() Introducing the Dolled Up Birthday Kit Stampin' Up! is excited to introduce our second Submit a Project kit--the Dolled-Up Birthday Kit--voted on by you via our Facebook page. *Adhesive not included ![]() Something I really enjoy doing is offering a card class for auction at my church's annual mission fund-raiser, Hearts & Hands. This year's win was by a single person, who brought a group of 8 new crafters - whew! She requested Birthday and Get Well cards, so I designed the cards for the class accordingly, with an eye to keeping things fun and simple, but varied. I also made one treat to match one of the birthday cards, and then supplied the makings for the second treat to go with one of the Get Well cards, though I guess it could also go with the other birthday card, now that I think about it... It was a fun time - great fellowship, creativity and LOTS of love - yay! And of course, yummy snacks - I love using my creme brule torch! For those interested, here is the instruction sheet for this class. ![]() Here's a quick picture of our little treats from class tonight - just big enough for a little bite of chocolate! And here are tonight's class instructions - enjoy! ![]() What a fun night! So nice to visit and chat it up! Who knew St. Patrick was such a party animal? Good thing we had some cute treats to keep us going, like these Shamrock Kisses by Brenda Quintana - her creativity always amazes me! They were so fun and quick to make! Our yummy Berry Chocolate Krispy Treats were a recipe from the fabulous Our Best Bites, of course, I've been waiting all month to try those strawberry marshmallows! One last little shot in the arm of Valentine's goodies! And my first taste of "elevated" rice crispy treats - yum! And here are tonight's Spring Shadow Boxes class instructions - enjoy! See you next month! ![]() Ahh, another lovely class with all my gals! I think brownies really do make everything GOOD. And I swear, we might have to make more of these wreaths! So much fun! Another thank you to Lisa V for finding this project for us - yay! Here's a picture of the cute little Mini Treat Totes I had for our chocolate stash - there's a great video of how to make them here from Dawn Olchefske. So EASY! So, here are tonight's class instructions, and see you all on Feb 21 for our next class! |
