OK, by the mysterious workings of the 2022 calendar, I have a confluence of challenges today, lol. First up, we have Sparkles Christmas Challenge #133, and we want to see you bring on the gold! I wasn't sure how I would do this, so on a hunch, I dug through some retired DSP - bingo! This background sheet from Blackberry Beauty dazzled me! I decided it would be awesome to match it with our just retired Great Tidings, and gold heat-emboss my three wise men - love it! I did one each on Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry and Early Espresso, and in person they really pop! I tried to give them a neutral wash behind by floating a circle of vellum, too, great effect in person, sigh... At the last second, a few Gilded Gems finished it! Great Tidings Stamp Set (retired 2021); Blackberry Beauty DSP (retired); Basic White, Vellum, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Rich Razzleberry & Blackberry Bliss CS; Versamark & Blackberry Bliss (inside) Inks; Gold EP; Layering Circles, Ornate Frames & Wise Men Tidings Dies; Gilded Gems; #SCC133. NEXT, I have a combo! At SU Only #294, we'd like to see something for Valentine's, which pairs perfectly with our "love" theme at Retro Rubber #175 - yay! My fave Valentine's set of all time is STILL PS I Love You, from 2012. This heart stamp, made up of tiny hearts, is just so beautiful, and I have kept my Full Heart and Modern Labels punches just for this set, lol. I did three of these "hearts of hearts" in shades of pink, and layered everything over a sheet of our AB Simply Marbelous paper in Flirty Flamingo. A few extra black accents and it's set for hubby - my forever Valentine! PS I Love You Stamp Set (retired 2012); Simply Marbelous DSP; Basic White, Flirty Flamingo & Basic Black CS; Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Full Heart & Modern Label Punches (both retired); Black Baker's Twine; Classic Matte Dots; #RRCB175; #SUOC294.
