Tickled Retro

Oo, love all the layers at this week's Retro Sketch #120! 
Taking my first crack at this sketch, I'm feeling a little pink, I think.  Like, Strawberry Slush pink, lol!  Been itching to get this cute flamingo out there - now's his chance!
After some deliberation, I decided not to go with an all-over background layer, but to allow the white card base to show through quite a bit.  This made getting the ribbon on the right layers a bit tricky...  Had to play around with "partial glue-downs" and whatnot - whew!
And whoever heard of a flamingo without rhinestones?  Not gonna happen...

Summer School is OPEN!
For the months of June and July, we're still having summer school - your chance to take any past class you want!  Browse my past offerings, or describe to me something you remember us doing and then just email me which one you'd like to make up or repeat, and if you prefer day, evening or weekend.  We'll schedule just for you, and work around your summer plans!  No need to worry about being away for our regular class nights!
Once classes are scheduled, I'll post them here, so if anyone else wants to jump in on your choice, they can!

Flip Calendar Class Scheduled!
Our Flip Calendar Class is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 630 pm - and this one has lots of prep work, so be sure to let me know if you'd like to join us, and I'll make sure to have your supplies ready and waiting!  RSVP today!  We'll be updating this project with the new Day to Day stamp set!

Additional Summer Classes Forming!
Classes are now forming for the Rosette Wreath ($20), the Fall/Thanksgiving/Halloween Reversible Clothespin Wreath ($25), and the Back-to-School Shadow Box Insert ($8).  Email me if you are interested in getting in on any of these projects!  I'll post confirmed dates once they are established!

Pumpkin Club Saturday, June 28!
Our very first Pumpkin Club is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 3 pm, chez Heroldt!  My plan is for Pumpkin Club to take place the last Saturday of every month from now on, at 3 pm.  My intention is for Pumpkin Club to be free with your subscription, or maybe never more than $5 if we decide to really pump up our Pumpkins, lol.  RSVP today so I can make sure I have enough snacks for all!
At this first meeting, we'll be working on the June Kit, which has a patriotic theme!
