I'm so excited that I got to pick the cover for this week's The Library Challenge #62 - and I chose the gorgeous The Moon Spinners by Mary Stewart! Forget the Disney movie, and read the book! I just KNEW I'd be trying to recreate this gorgeous midnight sea scene, and I of course went straight to my Waterfront set - I really can't remember life without ALL these awesome scenery building sets, but Waterfront remains first and best, lol. I had to update the cedar stands for palm trees, but I still love it! I made a gorgeous ombre background with our new Misty Moonlight, too - how apt is that?? I might have gone a little overboard with my sparkly speckles, but it's still so pretty, sigh... I can't wait to see YOUR projects with this gorgeous book cover inspiration - I hope you can come play at my challenge! See you there! I'm amazed at how many elements from the cover you got in there - it's a beautiful card on its own and a stunning take on the book. Thanks for being Visiting Librarian.

This is beautiful! The thick sentiment really sets it off with class. Lovely!
