OK, I LOVE sketches that have "repeated elements" in them, so I'm totally stoked about this week's Sunday Sketch Challenge #106! I wonder if I can squeeze in the colors from Nacho Average Challenge #152? I was SO excited to finally receive the gorgeous new Birthday Blossoms stamp set - I love the "sketched" look of these flowers and leaves, and the sentiments are just super sweet. I frankly had NOT envisioned them done up in the bright and cheery colors of this color challenge, but I'm so glad I tried it - it really pops! I also got to test drive my new Basic Black Archival ink pad we were given at convention - di-VOON, I tell you! It's like having our old Basic Black felt pads back with staying power and depth - just perfect. My aqua-painting didn't make a dent in this ink, and it cleaned right up from my stamps with our Stampin' Mist. All's well that ends well! Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set; Heavy & regular Whisper White, Cucumber Crush & Crushed Curry CS; Basic Black Archival, Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry & Cucumber Crush Inks; Spring Flowers Embossing Folder; Basic Jewel Rhinestones.

Love this card! The Pansy's are one of my fave's from Birthday Blossoms. The color combination is defiantly a keeper!
