Spring Cleaning

OK, don't get frazzled with my spring cleaning theme at this round of As You See It #294!  Clean out some scraps - you know you need to!
That said, after all the poking around in my search bar for "spring cleaning" images for this challenge, a stamp set by that name  from Catherine Pooler popped up in my Amazon feed, lol.  It was on clearance so I figured what the heck!  There were some cute mop and bucket images!  I'd actually been thinking about this scrappy idea for a while - I laid a strip of Tear-n-Tape across the center of card front, and stuck down a mix of scraps that I distressed with my fringe scissors.  I tied them around with Linen Thread for extra security, and then tacked on that mop and bucket for fun!  The sentiment is from our just-retired Thanks a Bunch SAB set - perfect!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects for this one - get out that broom!
Thanks a Bunch (SAB 2023) & Spring Cleaning by Catherine Pooler Stamp Sets; Basic White, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Smoky Slate, Pool Party & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Fringe Scissors; Linen Thread; White Milky Dots; #AYSI294.

You nailed this challenge Heather! You both used up your scraps AND used spring cleaning images at the same time! I'm so impressed! And you also used the colours on the challenge banner! Wow!

Scraps and a mop and bucket? I love it! The perfect set for this challenge Heather - and I think using up scraps is always fun, it's amazing what you find when you have a good rummage lol! I love how you incorporated your scraps into your design too - genius! This was such a fun challenge.

Bonus points for acquiring a Spring Cleaning stamp set! Love the scrappy strips - they're a bit like the bottom of a string mop, so perfectly in theme. Great challenge idea!

Heather, love your card. First thing I thought of when seeing it was a mop. You nailed it with those scraps. I have plenty of scraps, no mop bucket, I could get creative and create one but I'll just create spring flowers that I have in my big leftovers stash.😊
