We're pretty excited about our Try Stampin' on Tuesday October Technique challenge - add stitching! So many ways to accomplish this these days - make sure to check out our ideas!
For myself, I knew I wanted to combine two - the easiest of course being our awesome Stitched Shapes framelits! I use these hands-down the most of any framelits or thinlits I have. I love that it gives a "layered" effect with only one sheet really - so nifty! I also wanted to add some machine stitching - I have a blunter needle for my machine that I save just for paper. My advice? Go slow and use the largest stitch length you can!
Anyway, I was able to marry my two stitch-types with my new favorite Santa from So Santa. I was giggling the whole time I was coloring him - I don't usually have to color in quite so much skin on the jolly old elf - if you know what I mean, lol.
I hope we've inspired you to give some stitching a try - see you at the challenge!
