![]() We're back with a tasty new recipe for you at this round's As You See It #293! I started out by browsing my DSP stash for some pinks. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am falling a little OUT of love with Blushing Bride these days, and I seem to have several packs that feature it right now, lol. But then, my gorgeous Enjoy the Journey pack peeked out, and I remembered this sheet with the fabulous Melon Mambo mountains! This sheet always makes me think of Maui - which is all mountains and beautiful bold colors to me! So I pulled my retired Timeless Tropical bundle and went from there! I have hibiscus and plumeria for my shades of pink blossoms, my fave new Basics EF, and my deep Iridescent Pearls for accents! I even found my little distressing tool so I could go over my layer edges! I'm really pleased with how this came out, even though I covered up most of my awesome pink mountain! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for this round - start cookin'! Timeless Tropical Stamp Set (retired 2022); Enjoy the Journey DSP; Basic White & Polished Pink CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Something Fancy & In the Tropics (retired) Dies; Basic 3D EF 2; Iridescent Pearls; #AYSI293. ![]() Pumpkin Club Feb 25! I love how you think outside the box, Heather! This is a beautiful card, and that tropical vibe really suits this challenge! That hibiscus flower is so vibrant, matching the card background and the lighter plumeria really shows up beside it! Gorgeous!

I like how you took a bunch of ingredients that seemed destined for vintage and turned it into a bright, tropical creation. Funny about Blushing Bride - it's my favourite pink but would happily ditch both Melon Mambo and especially Petal Pink!

I have never been a big fan of Blushing Bride (to me it is a murky pink!) and would choose brights every day, so your card really sings to me Heather! I love that hot background and those tropical flowers - this is much more me than the vintage/shabby chic that this board would seem to inspire in the first instance - I just love it! Bravo for stepping outside of the creative box to create this fabulous card!
